Creepypasta: Disneyland's Haunted Mansion....In the year 2000, I went to Disneyland for the first time with my brand new passport with my friends. The very first thing I wanted to go on was my all-time favorite ride: The Haunted Mansion! I loved the ride so much I did research on the ride to figure out the secrets and techniques they use for all the effects. I also memorized the song so I would sing along throughout the ride. So I finally got to the Haunted Mansion and got in line. So far everything was the same as always except for one thing. I got to the 'pet cemetary' part of the ride and they took out the frog's tombstone and replaced it with another tombstone that says "Seth. Forever here...". This kind of bothered me, it seemed out of place and it wasn't one of those family-friendly puns that Disney makes all the time, but I ignored it thinking it's a new part of the ride.Creepypasta: Disneyland's Haunted Mansion....2 years ago in Short Stories More Like This

I'm that person that loves the supernatural, but doesn't believe a word of it. Even after my experience, I'm still more than skeptical of otherworldly beings.
This happened a few years ago sometime around April. I was skipping school and hanging with a friend of mine at her step-dad's apartment. Her and her friends are huge supernatural fans. They go ghost hunting and mess with the Ouija; they go searching for haunted places around where we live and spend a lot of time at each place with cameras and equipment and all of that kind of stuff. She's told me and shown me stuff before, but I've written it off with logical assumptions. She's always inviting me and begging me to go with her sometime to a sight. I always decline; I may not fully believe, but I'm not stupid. I don't think people should go looking for haunts and the supernatural; it's just begging for something bad to happen. I

Late Night Headlights
I've never really thought about any of my experiences being paranormal related because I am not much of a believer. As I got older and after my experience in my story titled "Black Dogs" I began to think how naïve I might have been. There have been a few things that have happened to me over the years that I am only now opening up to the possibility of being supernatural. This is one of my first ever experiences.
I don't exactly remember how old I was, but my sister was babysitting so I had to have at least been nine, making my sister twelve. My parents were out at the bar with some friends from work. They were only up town, ten minutes away tops. My sis was laying on the couch parallel to me and the television was right in front of us framed by a bay, window wall. She and I were watching T.V. and decided we'd rather watch a movie. Desir'ee decided she wanted to watch a scary movie so she went to t
WingsOnce upon a time there lived a little boy named Georges, who lived in a magical kingdom full of beautiful winged people. Georges had a best friend named Francois, who was born without wings, and everyone in the kingdom rejected him except for Georges. Georges wanted more than anything for his beloved friend to have wings and be happy and accepted. One day, while silently walking through the magical forest on the outskirts of the kingdom, Georges happened upon a troubled faerie, whose foot was trapped under a large stone. He hastened to aid her. The faerie thanked him graciously and offered to grant him a wish: anything he desired. However, she warned that her powers could only do so much, and she would need something from him in return. Without having to hesitate, Georges replied that he wished more than anything for his beloved friend Francois to have his own pair of wings. Wings flutter, sound like bees

Into fairy ring they sweep
Beautiful dancing, souls could weep
Glow worms fall slowly to ground
Dying light, made no sound.
Fairy music does not last long
Just like twilight come and gone
Look with care you might see
Wild fairies sparkling hilarity.

You sleep while I write this, and you dream, and I hope it's a dream you'll remember, because:
It is the complete darkness cut only by the fairy stream, the one I've taken you to before. I honestly have, and it would be bad form for you to have forgotten, but granted, dreams are tricksy that way...
But don't you remember it? I don't take your hand, it's unnecessary (but felt all the same), and you lift high, higher into the black, the starless night, the pure velvet interior of a dreaming mind, and there, and there --
Is the stream, running smooth and swift, its jelly depths smiling back with fairy lights, with all the Christmas and Halloween colors for you to remember. Don't you? Please remember: The interior glow of bluebells, marigold, naiad tears, persimmon, roses -- for you, roses -- and you can trail your fingers down into the cool waters, and who is the fairy in flight but you?

A Whacked Up FairytaleOnce upon a time, in a kingdom far, far away, a King ruled over a large kingdom with his beautiful Queen and perfect Princesses. However, one day, the father, the mighty King, had to leave the kingdom on a quest to show the world his strength. He left, despite the Queen's pleas and begging, and then they were all alone.
The Queen, after the King's descent became sad and heartbroken so much so that she could barely leave the bed, of which the two rulers once shared. There was nobody to rule over the mighty land that was the kingdom, other than the elder of the two Princesses, and so she did. The Princess decided to sit in the throne her father had once occupied and to take up the duties her father had once fulfilled.
Despite all the protection she offered the kingdom, there was still a vast anxiety amongst the people and even the royal household. There was fear and

While the moon is out to play.
Their music is the wind's soft song,
Hark how the gentle breeze doth blow!
Their tiny feet will not step wrong,
They know their place, where they belong;
Watch fireflies putting on their show

Elegon FairytaleThe water was lonely. It ran from river to river, ocean to ocean, alone. Many of the creatures that lived in the water paid it no mind, continuing on with their own life, unaware of the water's. The water decided one day to make itself some companions, someone to flow and keep company with. The water watched many humans at its rivers and oceans and created, what the water called, Ulas based off of the females. Some were made of water while others were made of scales and flesh. The Ulas made the rain and took care of the sea and river life during the day, while they played all night.Elegon Fairytale2 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
One night, the air passed by the river and saw the Ulas playing and dancing along the water. The air suddenly felt lonely, just as the water had. It blew through the lands all alone and decided that it could use companions as well. The wind called them Auras. The air, like the water, designed them as female humans made of air and flowing dresses. The Auras traveled with the wind and their domain was the sky

Before too long he heard small gentle whispers upon a breeze that passed his ear.
"Turn back Edward," they whispered "turn back and choose a safer path"
"A safer path would certainly be the wiser choice," the father agreed "however this unknown path would save time"
"Turn back, Edward," they advised "before the evil Goat Queen finds you. If she finds you she will ma

It was all her aunt had told her when Shiloh had called about her mom's condition. Shiloh had calmly pressesd the "end" button and sat the phone back on the reciever. She had shown a lack of emotion when she had walked up to her dad's nightstand and opened the drawer, lifting the weighty piece of steel from it's depths. Now, however, as she sat in the darkness on the floor of her bedroom inspecting the .44 handgun by the faint light of the moon, Shiloh felt hot tears rolling down her face. The gun trembled in her unsteady hands as she clicked the safety off.
Gentle laughter emitting from somewhere in the darkness.
"What do you think you're doin' honey?" asked an unfamiliar voice with a tone of bitter humor. Shiloh's expression harded, the tears still flowing.
"What do you care?" her voice cracked. "You're just a hallucination." She wrapped her hands tighter around the gun.
"That don't matter none," said the voice. It was male.

Where Am I? explanationsThe following is an essay of sorts, meant to explain the symbolism in the recent comic I've finished, "Where Am I?" (found here: http://mayuzane.deviantart.com/art/Where-Am-I-01-68755403 ) , as well as clarifying which interpretations of the storyline would be considered valid.Where Am I? explanations6 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
There are three ways to interpret 'Where Am I?':
1. It is the story of a girl whose life is far less than perfect, to the point that she borders insanity and in the end her life has been fast-forwarded instantly from teenager to complete adulthood. Her final question represents her calm confusion.
2. It's the tale of a girl, one without a father and near-daily emotional torture, who tries her best to escape from her reality and in the end she dreams of things to come, giving her hope. She asks "Where Am I?" because she doesn't feel familiar in a world where everything seems in place.
3. The first part of the story is actually the memory of a famous author's troubled teenaged years, replayed in a dream

"Are we there yet?"
"Shut up. Just watch the skies for any drones."
"We've been riding this truck for two bleedin' hours."
"Yes and I keep telling you to shut up."
Jarill was tired of the bumpy ride. He was bored of looking at the same tropical landscape he had grown up with, and his buttocks were about to fall asleep. He was, somewhere in the corner of his mind, hoping that there would be a drone flying overhead "At least then I'd find out if my rifle actually works."
After some silence (aside from the truck's engine that is), they finally arrived at the Tank Graveyard.
It was hard to believe that the Tank Graveyard used to be a jungle. There were no trees, and not a single animal in sight. Only black soil, the carcasses of Shunaian tanks, and the corpses of their crews, some still sitting inside the tanks. Were it not for the fact that there were drones patrolling the Graveyard, these martyrs would have already been buried.

I'm not sure if this is right
These feelings I hold inside
Consume me with all their might
Tell me by which to abide
I tell myself no, it's not true

Why should I give in to you
In the end, it'll just tear me apart
Your voice cuts like a knife
Mine becomes paralized
I need you in my life
A hunger I've realized
If only I wouldn't ruin us
Would we stay together
Or is all this simple lust
What a painful endeavor

Slowly releasing all
This pressure I feel.

There’s something I must say
My lover has gone
And I must fade away
Oh, Raggedy Man
I wish it wasn’t true
Goodbye old friend
For now, I bid Adieu
There’s a girl who waited
She waited for so long
You must go to her
And give her one last song
Tell her a tale
Of a man and his box so blue
How he took this girl away
And stuck to her like glue
Tell her how she went
And helped to save the day
And the man who waited two thousand years
To see if she’s okay
And how they traveled all through space
And time, oh it was true
And tell her never to forget this man,
I’ll never forget you
Waking Up in WonderlandI woke up with my mind in a haze,Waking Up in Wonderland1 year ago in Free Verse More Like This
The cold checker floor cold to the touch.
My head felt as if it were in a blaze,
As I took a bite of cake, though not too much.
My body grew to twelve feet tall.
Then I took a sip out of an eerie vial,
And suddenly was far too small.
And through the door, reality in denial.
Some nagging flowers greeted me,
I grumbled at them and ignored.
Then, a peculiar caterpillar with a monocle to see
Questioned the identity I'd left unexplored.
Colors were wild in this strange realm,
Yellow eyes winking at me out of nowhere.
A hatter not at sanity's helm,
Invited me to a tea party so rare.
And one last thing, a wicked queen
Of hearts, it's so ironic!
And off with my head is what she said,
After a croquet game so demonic.
Under a tree, I came to my senses,
And thought, "'T is all but a dream?"
But to this day, I'm a top the fences.
Is "reality" all that it seems?
