I Love You More"I Love You More"I Love You More8 years ago in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
I love you more than life itself
For life itself is worthless
Without someone with which to share
The beauty of life's purpose
I love you more than you can know
You've helped me more than you can imagine
I once was lonely, now I see
That miracles still happen
I love you more for who you are
Than what you can or will be
Whenever I am feeling empty
You come along and fill me
I love you more than happiness
For my happiness comes from you
For so long I waited for someone
And now my wish has come true
I love you more with each passing day
More than anyone before
And no matter how much you love me
I will always love you more.
My Perfect ManYou're so cute when you blush,My Perfect Man4 years ago in Urban & Spoken Word More Like This
It makes my heart race.
I can't help but smile,
Every time I see your face.
You make me feel perfect,
When no one else does.
You do it just because.
You sew my heart back together,
Even when you're unaware.
I'm constantly thinking about you,
In my mind, you're always there.
You're my perfect man,
On that you can bet.
It's just too bad,
That you're not mine yet.
I Love You...I love you beyond expression and imagination.I Love You...6 years ago in Urban & Spoken Word More Like This
Beyond even my own recognition.
I love you here, where, somehow it's unfairly forever.
Where, something bursts but I know it shouldn't be put back together.
I love you beyond speaking, seeing, and feeling.
And thinking is not in my vocabulary. *wink*
I love you for no time limit, I promise I won't expire.
Just promise me one thing love,-Don't leave me to die here.
I love you for you-how could it be anyone else?
Even if nothing about you ever makes sense..*smirk*
I love you without condition or contract; without rules or regulations.
how do you expect to love with shackles on your heart?
I love you with my whole, heart, and soul,
I love it when you look at me and I know you know.
I love how your eyes can find me in light and dark
And how you'll make my day with a bad joke or funny remark.
I love how when I'm empty you find a way to fill me up.
Even if it's just pizza and super warm hug.
I love how your eyes play tricks on me and
The PainHave you ever felt the pain,The Pain5 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
The pain of being trapped,
Trapped in your own body,
The body you were born with,
The body everybody assumes to be you?
Your souls screams,
Heart is torn,
Both fighting to flee,
Flee from the bonds they are held with.
But it's impossible to run from your very own eyes.
Then somebody else,
A friend, a brother, a stranger or mother,
Says one little word,
And that little word pierces your mind,
Your heart, your soul
With barbed arrows,
Leaving you to bleed and scream some more.
In your tormented mind,
The solution is more pain,
Of the physical kind,
So you pick up a knife or a razor,
A shard or claws,
Just to paint jagged lines accross your skin.
You try to kill the body and free the mind,
Free the soul and the heart,
But the bonds are too tight,
All you can do is paint more lines,
Have you ever felt the pain?
Because until you have felt it,
The torture I go through,
Every minute in this forsaken life,
Don't tell me to ignore it.
Next To YouWhen I try to fall asleep,Next To You4 years ago in Urban & Spoken Word More Like This
I picture you by my side,
With your arms wrapped around me.
Holding me so tight,
Comforting me in your arms,
Makes me feel better.
You kiss me,
As I drift into a deep sleep,
Your body pressed up against mine.
I awake with you in my head,
Greeting me in the morning,
To a wonderful thought.
EmptyThis can't be realEmpty6 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
This can't be me
I couldn't bend so I broke
I couldn't sing so I spoke
But my words all died in a pool of burning
Killing hopes, destroying dreams
My hands are soaked in the blood
Of the ones I need to stand by me
In my pain, through the night
My thoughts never stayed quite right
If I could change
When the water turns to blood
I'll change you first
If I could be somebody else
I'd be me instead
I could never be worse
Yet I can never get better
Something about me just kills me
It makes and breaks me
At the same time
Is it possible
This can't be real to me
It's fake, you break
Instead of me for once
Hear me out
Let me say
Let me say my name
Let me rearrange myself
To fit the needs of my dying eyes
I can't stand you
Yet I need you
Let me explain to myself who I am
Don't take me away
Before I even get back from the pain
Before I get back from you
Filled with these lies
On the inside
Of all I need
I've lost control
I've lost all will to
PainHave you ever wanted to scream?Pain4 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Scream until your lungs stopped
Have you ever wanted to cry?
Cry until your eyes burned
Have you ever lied in bed awake?
Just thinking of the ways you could die
Have you ever faked a smile?
Just so no one will ask
Have you ever stared in the mirror?
And just wanted to hit it until the glass broke
Have you ever stayed up late?
Wishing that the pain would go away
Do you ever wonder?
Wonder what went wrong
Do you ever ask?
Ask why it all happened
Has anyone ever asked you?
If you were ok
Have you ever answered I'm fine?
And just walked away knowing you weren't ok

Sleep away the
Let's just forget it all,

Just come here
And tell me we're okay?
AloneI am alone hereAlone4 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Here on this Earth
Here with these people
Lost in the crowd
I'm just another
I'm not really here
You won't see me
I'll be gone
You won't see
You don't care
No difference at all
I am away
You've found another
You've forgotten me
I don't stand out
Too many people
Why am I here?
Why haven't I left?
Maybe it's you
You'll be gone
I'll certainly care
I'll probably cry
All the difference in the world
I am alone here
Here in this room
Here without you

Words come out of their mouths bringing up the past.
That I wish to forget.
Makes me want to scream.
Into a pillow, but once I open my mouth. . .
Dry tears fall and I crumble inside.
Under CoversI don't want to hear a thing.Under Covers4 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
I don't want to know the world is ending,
I just want to lay here under the covers
wrapped up in my doubts next to my prince charming.
I want to shut out the chaos.
I want to see the world though 3rd eye parties.
I just want to waste away under the covers,
warm in my self loathing next to my darling.
I want to forget about everything else.
I don't want to get lost in the world,
I just want to stay under the covers
next to my salvation.
Creature of AngerCan no longer take it, can no longer stand it.Creature of Anger10 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Someone will suffer. Someone will pay.
The walls of my mind, like a prison: suffocating.
The creature within shall drown out the day
With darkness and madness, with shrieking and violence.
Kicking and biting, an oncoming hell.
Slamming against it: the cage of my mind.
I must bury the anger, drown it in a well.
Like a creature of madness, shrieking in torture,
It cares not for others, pays no heed to its health.
It will rip itself open to release the frustration,
The anger, the madness: contained in myself.

that shatters the image
of your picture perfect life.
I am a walking reminder
of the biggest mistake
you've ever made.
I am a dissapointment
wrapped in flesh
and an accident
that's already happened.
I am a horrible excuse
for a human being
that had no right
to step one foot
in this world.
I Love You BecauseSometimes I miss you.I Love You Because4 years ago in Urban & Spoken Word More Like This
Sometimes I really miss you.
Other times I am craving for you,
And occasionally my heart squeezes longingly so.
Should I dream of you,
I would want you to dream of me too,
To be connected in a way beyond your lovely hands touching my side,
And just maybe, that divine little weight upon my skin.
I used to look for just a girl with a pretty smile,
A beautiful mind and lips that speak sweet things...
And I am still looking for this girl every morning,
Every time I open my eyes in bed, and reaching out to touch, you.
TwilightDuring the day,Twilight7 years ago in Urban & Spoken Word More Like This
Your beauty outshines the sun.
When it's night,
You sparkle brighter than the stars.
The sun comes to see your face.
It cries at being taken away.
In the twilight,
To share you with.
I get to admire you,
All by myself.
Not to be selfish,
I don't want to share,
But something so wonderful,
Should be admired by the world.
So once the twilight's gone,
Everyone sees your wonder.
I'll still admire you,
And count the minutes,
To twilight and us.
In LoveIn Love10 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
The love inside my heart grows each day,
It flourishes and blossoms,
Nothing could ever change this,
you are my one true match.
At night I dream of you,
I dream of us together,
Holding eachother close,
Kissing you all over.
I count the days till we are together,
My heart smiles with each passing day,
I know each day I'm closer to you,
My excitement is barely contained.
I know the second I see you,
I will run to you and pounce you,
Attack you with endless kisses,
Never leaving your embrace.
Oh Lee, I am so in love with you,
I smile each time I think of you,
I worry if we do not speak each day,
I am so happy we found eachother.
I am so in love with you.
I Dreamt of You Last NightI woke up this morning,I Dreamt of You Last Night4 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
and immediately I thought of you--
wearing those bracelets I made you,
and yawning and stretching as you greet the morning sunlight.
I dreamt of you last night.
We were sitting on your couch,
watching some chick flick I forced you to watch,
laughing and giggling,
paying more attention to each other than the movie.
And I dreamt of you last night,
Walking through the park,
with my hand in yours,
never wanting to let go,
sharing kisses behind trees.
Then I came to a shocking realization,
that wasn't a dream,
but simply a vision--
of all the years soon to come.
Separated by the cornucopia of miles between us,
we still make it through.
And we shall still make it through,
even as we hide behind open doors.
Warned by the words I harshly mutter,
you understand the ways of my non-accepting parents.
And I'll never be able to say how grateful I am,
to have you still want to be by my side.
All the stories of their pure abhorrence, and racism,
takes its toll--
on both you
