American Mcgee's Newest Game: OZombieAmerican Mcgee has returned and is planning to create a new video game: OZombie. The story and art style is suppose to be a lot like Alice: Madness Returns' and Akaneiro: Demon Hunters'. So the story is that Dorothy's great-great-granddaughter joins forces with Tin Woodman and Lion to fight Scarecrow's zombie army for control of Oz.American Mcgee's Newest Game: OZombie2 years ago in Deviant Events More Like This

"OZombie is a narrative-driven action-adventure game set within an alternate version of the Oz universe created by L. Frank Baum. The game's themes and characters are inspired by Baum’s deeply imaginative books (all 14 of them!) then filtered through the story and art treatment you've seen applied to our other games like Alice: Madness Returns and Akaneiro: Demon Hunters.
OZombie will be first and foremost a single player game. You'll play as Dorothy and be able to persuade many of the captivating fiction’s familiar characters such as Tik Tok and Billina t

my review of new wacom cintiq...if you have a desk and don't move it around?
if not... WELCOME TO HELL!
o0lder models used to come with a metal plug connector it was strong, stable and worked perfectly.
new ones come with this flimsy piece of crap that keeps losing contact which often makes your computer forget that you even have a tablet forcing you to restart
not just that but the driver is a mess and often forgets it can orientate the screen for left handed use... being a leftie, it is quite important to me
so yeah...buyer beware.
luckily my boss at top cow found me the currently discontinued lenovo x230t so soon i will be back at full force
and then i will take an axe...take this wacom behind my building...and reenact a scene from the shining
aaanyhoo, should post the next strip in a week, will be posting some wipshots, maybe even some making of videos as i want to try

Ten Beautiful Nintendo PiecesThe semester is finally over, so I feel like making more of these journals. Nintendo has an abundance of wonderfully memorable pieces from their games. There's too many to choose from, so I just picked ten of some of my favorites. I'm sure you guys have your favorites too, so I'd like to hear about them!Ten Beautiful Nintendo Pieces2 years ago in Personal More Like This
1.) Kid Icarus: Uprising--The Reaper's Line of Sight
Oh my gosh! This game has some of my favorite pieces ever. With Motoi Sakuraba on the soundtrack, how can you go wrong! The soundtrack for this game was so very playful and cute, just like the game itself. This piece was my favorite, because it utilized music from the first Kid Icarus game (I always ran into the reapers while playing the old Kid Icarus, so I noticed the tune immediately when I popped the new Kid Icarus into my 3DS) added new segments, and it has Motoi Sakuraba's patented inspirational guitar solo. It's wonde

OMG Fire Emblem 14 (and other things lol)Aah, I was expecting some news of the SMT x FE crossover, but not a completely new Fire Emblem game!! Aah, I can't wait! I liked a lot of the mechanics in FE13 and even the weird style of graphic grew on me after a while! I'm really curious about these new features they mentioned in the stream. Aaaah! :iconcannotevenplz:
Oh, and I'm really glad I don't have to buy a new 3DS system for playing Majora's Mask! Believe it or not, but despite being a huge Zelda fan I've never played MM before! So I'm really looking forward to this remake!
I'm pretty sad that they didn't say anything about Dai Gyakuten Saiban though... I'm still hoping that it will be released around here.
Xenoblade Chronicles looks pretty amazing as well, I have to admit. I've never heard of it before seeing the blonde guy in Smash4, but hell, it looks nice! I won't be able to play it though, I guess. I just don't have that much time on my hands as I used to

i have seen in my life many artists who proclaimed they want to develop their skills, and kept bashing on everyone and everything on the way....and for some reason those guys never got anywhere...
here is why..
there is a value to different approaches, different styles. realism, manga , cartooney disney, my little pony, furries....don't waste your time tryint to bash any of the stuff you don't personally like
you are missing out, bigtime!
see there is a reason why that stuff is popular. and by that i mean on the visual side. so instead of flaming , trolling and bashing, try understanding the inner workings of it.
here are some specific examples
realism- it is a wonderfully complex base , reflects one's skill in capturing reality, but in it there are differences between photo referenced, real life work and no reference. ALL HAVE THEIR VALUE AND IMPORTANCE! from photos you can learn alot, gain analytic skills, develop an attention to
An open letter of thanks to thatgamecompanyDear thatgamecompany team,An open letter of thanks to thatgamecompany3 years ago in Personal More Like This
After many reflections and doubts, I couldn't come up with a better way to thank you properly than this - sharing my thoughts with my companions and fellow players, all over the world, hoping that this eventually gets to you somehow.
If it happens, I want you to know this. No matter who of you gets to read this letter in the end; everyone at thatgamecompany has, and will always have, my eternal gratitude for making it possible - for me and thousands of other players - to enjoy one of the most extraordinary, unforgettable, amazing experiences we will ever come across in our lives.
I think that, in a way, videogames are an unlucky medium. Not because of their popularity, which is immense, or their range of opportunities - for the truth is, in fact, the exact opposite. If, in this world and these times, there is a form of art which can claim to be creative, widespread, open to anyone and easily accessible, videogames are definitely that form of art, thanks to th
Ten Nintendo Games with Beautiful ArtDo you guys have any video-games with art to die for? Well, I sure do. Here's some of my favorites, in no particular order again.Ten Nintendo Games with Beautiful Art2 years ago in Personal More Like This
1.) Sin and Punishment: Star Successor
I always really adored the graphic styles of both Sin and Punishments 1 and 2. It fits the decrepit world they live in really beautifully, and I love how ridiculous the outfits are. Isa's shoes really make me smile. XD The details on those outfits are to die for, too. The in-game graphics were also beautiful, and it was just a joy running around/flying around as Kachi and Isa.
2.) Viewtiful Joe
How can you not love this style? It's an interesting and unique spin on comic-book art and it looks fantastic. The tiny feet on all the characters is one of my favorite parts of the style, and the outfit is very clean a
Devious Journal EntryHow do spaceships actually maneuver?Devious Journal Entry3 years ago in Personal More Like This
I mean space is quite different from atmosphere and gravity. Spaceships cannot use wings, aelerons etc. to change direction. This is fairly obvious.
But the thing is, I keep thinking of planes when I picture my ships to move around in space. Yet they will never move like planes, will they? If you change the direction of a space craft it will still be moving in the same heading, you just change the orientation, nothing more. To change direction you will have to exert a huge amount of force/thrust in the opposite direction or at an angle of travel, meaning a space ship will have to have some serious thrusters to maneuver as well as for acelleration and decelleration.
You will have to fight/force inertia quite a lot in order to change heading. So thrusters and fuel for maneuvers is just as important as thrusters for accelleration and decelleration, then?
I have an idea that planets will be very important for future warfare because of this. Planets are

complete trust or confidence in someone or something.
What can I do to make this life worth living?
Do you have a list of goals or accomplishments? Dreams or hopes? A loved one you would do anything for? If not then what ARE we living for? Perhaps you are just getting by with your day in and out schedule. Perhaps you expect a reward for your efforts. Maybe you want to catch as many likes as you can on Facebook or that artist on here that you desperately want to watch you.
We all have desires and hopes and dreams of some sort, it is human, and they inspire us! We get that good grade, beat that next level, and finish that spectacular work of art.
But will those make us happy? Perhaps for a time. But nothing in this world can satisfy us permanently.
So what are you going to do about it?
I found life. And what kind of person would I be if I choose not to share it with you? I love you all out the

InactivityHey, I'm sure plenty of you have noticed the lack of updates from my page as of recent, and, well, there's a reason for that: I honestly don't give much of a heck about DA anymore and so never really feel compelled to post anything to it. I still go back and fave things, as well as do some minimal mod work over at the Regular Show fanpage, but that's about it. My page has become, for the most part, untouched. The last picture I uploaded was in... April? Or something.Inactivity2 years ago in Personal More Like This
Anyway, I've been trying over the last few months to be more productive and, while it hasn't quite worked out very well, I'm considering the fact that maybe rectifying my non-presence here on DA might help some. There are still some people I know who are pretty active on here... I figure I might give DA the old college try again. There was a time when I was as obsessed with DA as I am with Tumblr now; though the obsession with the former actually got me up and drawing things, rather than just distracting me with arguments

so i keep getting the same questions over and over again. how did i learn to do this.
i was self taught. by this i mean, i took the initiative and seeked out the knowledge, as no one was offering it.
i draw on average 8 to 10 hours a day, every day. by average i mean that some days its 6 and some 12
so... the argument.
i keep hearing this one. well i want to be a professional artist, but life is hard, i need to work, i don't really have the time....
let me put things in perspective here.
i used to work as a night guard on the beach. every single night from 8 pm to s6 am. after that i would go meet up with my dad who gouarded another beach to get a cup of coffee. we had a bite to eat, and then both went to haul and sell fruits and vegetables.
every evening i was drawing. when the sun set i sat under a street lamp and drew through the night.
every night. this was on occasion interrupted by a fight with some exceedingly drunk people who wouldn't
