Spammers on dASo, over the last 6 or so months people have been noticing that deviantART has been getting hit by malicious spammers.Spammers on dA3 years ago in Personal More Like This
The current trend of these spammers is to favourite an image of yours and then when you reply on their page you get a message along the lines of "I really liked your work. Hey I just got this free X Item and thought I should share it with you." These are all spammers, the links lead to potentially malicious sites. We have been blacklisting these websites and banning all the spammers we can find.
However we need your support in this, we need you to report them too us. We have a section of the help desk dedicated to reports about these accounts, it's titled "Spammer Reports". Tickets in that section are handled within 48 hours during the working week. But unfortunately I've been noticing a tendency that some of these accounts can last for days without being reported. People are aware of them because they're commenting on the profiles stating that they're spammers,
My dreams about Anders Behring Breivik:I decided to put out, (for everyone to read), the dreams I had about Anders Behring Breivik. My dreams about Anders Behring Breivik:3 years ago in Personal More Like This
Before you start to read I would like to say a few things. Some say that they can control their dreams, I cannot. I only control my actions. And I hope that no one (that is a fan/supporter of Breivik) gets offended (or gets the wrong idea) after reading the dreams. I will always respect him, these are only dreams.
Me and my family walked somewhere to see a comedy show. Everyone was dressed very nicely, but when we got to a stage everyone just sat down on the floor. We watched some few people before a guy in a white shirt with a red tie walked on stage. Then I suddenly saw that it was Anders Behring Breivik. He started right away by telling jokes and making everyone laugh. I looked around and I was the only one that reacted at all and the only one that didn't laugh. I whispered to my dad: "Don't you see who that is?", but my dad just said: "yeah, yeah" and continued laughing. And t
My thoughts on Skyrim so far...Just started playing a few days ago. Here are my thoughts. My thoughts on Skyrim so far...3 years ago in Personal More Like This
Warning Capslock and cussing ahoy!
There's nothing quite like a nice stroll on a cool, crisp morning with a NOPE, GOTTA PLAY SKYRIM.
I have to work, bills to pay, walk the dogs, go shopping, and I also need to NOPE, GOTTA PLAY SKYRIM.
Haven't eaten all day, I should probably have some NOPE, GOTTA PLAY SKYRIM.
FYI: If you walk past a flowery bush IRL and your first instinct is "Harvest mountain flowers," you've been playing too much Skyrim.
Approximately half of Skyrim's populace used to be an adventurer just like me, but then they all took arrows to the knee . which is funny because I've taken multiple arrows to the head and that hasn't stopped me from running tits first into one adventure after another and another . And another . AND ANOTHER OMHFG THERE ARE SO MANY !@#$%^&*ing SIDE QUESTS.
Um . Skyrim? Yes, uh, Skyrim? Hi. That's a mudcrab. There's real
Devious Journal EntryIf you've read my deviantART page you might've noticed that I have a ongoing battle with the Swedish state. This entry will be all about that struggle.Devious Journal Entry2 years ago in Personal More Like This
After a prolonged, unfortunate and I dare to say extremely physically traumatising event in my early twenties, my body and entire life along with it, was utterly destroyed. After feeling physically ill I was referred to various doctors which tragically found nothing and could only throw out som wild guesses. During this period my obsession about Christian Nationalism being the only way to go when it comes to the governing of a nation, which had been previously unknown to the public, started dawning on the people around me. I had chosen to keep it more or less of a secret until I had finished the mandatory school years since Sweden always had been so pro-immigration under my time as a child. As early as in preschool the TEACHERS started brainwashing everyone by commanding the children to draw pictures of the Earth with children of
Foreigners in NorwaySometimes I get my hopes up. I walk around in the streets of Norway and think: "There isn't as much muslims and foreigners as I thought". Because I don't see so much of them in my school, and don't see much of them when I go skiing, or when I'm at the cinema, or at the public swimming pools and etc. But then it becomes Saturday and I go to the "city", and I see them.Foreigners in Norway3 years ago in Personal More Like This
A flock of foreigners hanging around drinking, or simply just standing around as if they don't have nothing else to do. In the "city" we have this huge ass building with around 100 stores, and in the first floor it's a big space filled with benches, but when it's Saturday it seems so much smaller because the foreigners fill up the benches and just hang around.
This Saturday my sister just wanted to go and buy a magazine in this building and I came along. When we got close I could see them standing outside, and inside there were even more. Many of them reacted and started staring at us, I almost started looking for some oth

Against Ebola, still one week before the deadlineAgainst Ebola, still one week before the deadline4 months ago in Personal More Like This
We all have heard about what is happening in Western Africa. I feel sick about it. There are medical people going there to help those nations to stop the epidemy from spreading any farer and stop it all. I've heard people managed to stop it in Nigeria. Those medical associations are needing volunteers and funds. Those are the Red Cross, Médecins sans frontiers and many others.
In the past with a group of artists on deviant ART, we have created small books, for gathering some funds to associations.
I would like here too a book with our images, texts, for the people of Western Africa, for the medical associations working in the middle of the epidemy, to save lives, to save us all.
Please, let's create something together.
I would like you to spread the word.
You have been a lot

An Untouchable MagicMan, there's a kind of magic around some people. I call them the untouchables. An Untouchable Magic1 year ago in Personal More Like This
I'm sort of terminally honest. I seem to just say or write what I'm thinking without much filter. It comes out, and I can't help it - and it's a bloody pain in the bum sometimes. For example - we took the kids out of school for a day for a long over-due trip to Disney, which is something my daughter has wished for for most of her 17 years of life. We were advised to lie to the school by our friends, but no. We tell the truth. The school dutifully tells us that we can't have the day off for a reason like that. But we CAN say it's a trip to look at a university for her. So what do we do? We find a nearby university and arrange to go see it before we drive home. Y' know - so that we're telling the truth! (It turned out to be great, but that's another story...)
But these untouchables? Well, you know them. We all do. One of my untouchable friends stood on a table at a big event at the Hard Rock

When you like drawing, but seek for something stronger than pencil, ink might be a good choice. While it takes time to get used to it (like everything), it's not that hard when you learn the basics, and this article will focus on one of the common uses of ink - lineart.
The first thing that you need is ink. But what kind? Depending whether you plan to draw a lone ink drawing, or mix it with something else, there are different options for different ways of handling your picture. Here are the most common choices:
Waterproof ink - is the most useful when you want to add a layer or layers of paint or water-diluted ink (with a brush) over your your lineart.
Not waterproof ink, like Indian or China ink. It's suitable when your picture is 100% drawing and you don't plan painting over it (of course, you can go ahead and experiment with smudging it with water, but this article focuses just on the lineart).
Coloured ink - whatever yo

I also took with me my Tamron 90mm macro but left Canon 70-200mm home. Which I regretted after about 5 minutes when I began photographing
I had a view with much fog and really warm red light from the sun on the opposite mountains / hills.
But that's life, new opportunities will come
Despite this, I got several images I was really happy with, including this one:

Have you ever regretted that you left one of your lenses at home?

There is a kind of people that gets considerably on my nerves: those who sit safely behind their keyboard, have zero military experience but comment acts of war. I would have done this. I wouldn't have done that. This is heroic. This is cowardly. You know which kind of people I'm talking about.
I'm not talking about discussing what would have happened if Hitler had not launched Barbarossa, or if bombing civilian targets is acceptable or not in times of Total War. I'm talking about individual soldiering actions. People who never had a gun in their hands and experienced the strain of combat, yet have an opinion about absolutely everything. They would do this and never that, this is heroic and this is cowardly. And all this is stated between a Skype chat and a Medal of Honor gaming session. Hah!
Of course, these people never had to spend days and weeks on the field, with
thinking back to five months in franceAs some of you might know, I spent the winter of 2010/2011 in a small village called Val-des-Prés in the South-East of France, working as an au pair and spending my free time snowboarding and finding new friends. Every year, when the end of November approaches, I spend a lot of time contemplating about where I used to be and how it shaped where I am now. I find comfort in being nostalgic about my time in France, for it is so long gone and the memories that stay are beautiful. My series 'five months' is one of them:thinking back to five months in france1 month ago in Personal More Like This
