On the right is a photo sent to me by the company for review. This is their initial attempt at translating the 2D color layouts that were sent in onto the 3D figure. As you can see, while it looks okay, usually there are modifications that need to be made before approval. In this case, the light part of Peaches's tail kind of rode up on the side of her tail instead of properly being on the underside. Some small changes to her body pattern on her thighs, waist, and feet are also noted. In other notes, I also mentioned that her body color needs to be more orange, etc.
These along with other roughly-Photoshopped photos are what get e-mailed back to the company, where I sit on pins and needles hoping the changes were properly conveyed and will be executed correctly. Cross your fingers that the new photos show the changes I asked for! <XD
It's late...but it's still in time to give it to her in tomorrow! =3
Here's the colored present for Yup.
The markers were a bitch is ome places because the ink would run and smear. I had to color a little more slowly and carefully on the ink. I used too dark a shade to shadow the white on the tail. I actually finished the marker last night....but I needed to get the red and white gel pens to finish up the rest an hour ago.
Haven't done a decent pic of tis char in a long time.
Tanya. Tiopi's sister... technically Kwani's sister also. Since they were originally all robots made in the same lab. They have an odd background.
She's a cheetah. Not leopard.
Tiopi also has long black hair and gold markings as opposed to Tanya's white. I seriously need to draw my characters more often.
So... here's Tanya in the outfit I designed a while back. I was actually kinda happy with this one. I was kinda lazy with the cg...but it still took me a while to finish it X.x I'm so slow at this stuff.
Yes Im drawing again. Inspiration due to my new Wacom Intous 2 tablet, I love that thing This is actually a side project while I work on my main one, I wanted to train some teq. on an older drawing. I think It came out pretty good, I wish I had spent more time on details though. Art style inspired by DEN, who seems to use a lot of dynamic anatomy studies in his ilustrations with realistic results. I hope to do an art trade with him someday.
It's been a while since I last posted something with magician Naobi in it! I sketched this up one night as a bit of revenge against ~deadrabbit since she's got a lil bit of a shark phobia, but I went ahead and finished it up for Shark Week since I thought it was pretty fun! That'll teach her for sending me creepy text gifs, haha!
Shark week starts August 8th on Discovery Channel, and even though it'll probably be a lot of the same shows and specials as years prior I'm still looking forward to it!
