Pit soared through the clouds, high above the town where the celebrations were already underway. With the war with the Underworld finally at an end, it seemed that peace had been restored, albeit with many sacrifices. He watched with interest as people begun setting of fireworks, which exploded in the air with dazzling colours. He hovered over the town, curious about what other festivities were taking place.
"Pit? You really need to be heading back now. The power of flight doesn't last forever remember?" Palutena's kind but instructive voice filled his head. He groaned, "Couldn't I stay just one more minute? The party hasn't even started yet." He glanced down at the street, where a group of people were releasing balloons which were shaped liked underworld minions. They looked rather impressive, especially the Orne, which made Pit shiver slightly. O

I can't feel the pain anymore, but I know why. Death is such a weird feeling, especially how I died so young. I died during the spring of 126 B.C. and a rival girl at my school was the suspect of my death. Past memories of my life are starting to fade, but I don't care. Time passes by, or it seems like it, until I hear voices surrounding me.
"Is she ok?"
"Yes, she is. Her new body's good to go."
"Cool. I just hope there's still time to save Palutena "
"You know Palutena will be fine. Erebus wouldn't do anything unless he has reached his limits."
All those names they are the gods that were spoken about when I was still alive. Now I live amongst them but why? My eye opened slowly and I was in a room with an open ceiling. The walls look like they were made out of pure gold. On one side of the table that I was on, there was an old nurse and a boy. The nurse had a white dress and an apron on. Her face was weathered with age, but her hair

It had been a year and a half since Pit's victory over Hades, the Lord over Hell and its many denizens. Once again, a time of peace seemed to have returned for both the humans of the Overworld and the angels of the Skyworld. However, Hades' antics had left a bad impression of the heavenly rulers in the humans' eyes. To help ease this misguided tension, Palutena had her trusty warrior Pit travel around the world, aiding in the reconstruction of towns and villages, among other places. He acted as a spokesperson of sorts for the goddess of light. It was a difficult job, but for the sake of his beloved goddess Pit was willing to do whatever it took. It did not take long before Pit became quite popular with the humans.
After one particular job, the flightless angel had returned to Skyworld with something very strange in tow.
"...An eggplant?" Palutena asked, eyes wide in amazement.

As Medusa's gigantic fist came crashing down towards him, Pit's life flashed before his eyes. Based on what he saw, he concluded that he had an exciting life but hadn't done everything he wanted to- including learning how to read. He closed his eyes and waited for the deadly blow. But it never came. Pit was suddenly whisked off his feet and lifted into the sky. He recognised his saviour instantly.
His doppelganger gave him an angry look. "Call me that again and I'll drop you. Why can't you just call me Dark Pit?"
"Pitoo's kind of catchy, besides don't blame me, blame Palutena. She invented the nickname. Anyway, what are you doing here?"
"Viridi told me that the Underworld forces were attacking the town and I never turn down a chance to beat down some monsters. I saw that you needed some help so I thought I should do something."

What greeted my criticizing stare as I cautiously watched the entrance of this room was a mere boy. A child. What in Hylia's name would someone so delicate be doing inside of a temple filled with demons? How did he even manage survival in the company of my army and darkness wreaking havoc in here? Aside from my surprise at his stature and human appearance, I suppose I could further describe this young one's appearance as distraught, ragged, and honorably determined for whatever reason. No matter. He's rather short for his age, with moderate length dark blond hair, long pointed ears, and garbed in green with hints of chainmail here and there. Upon further inspection of his sweat drenched face I see deep, soulful blue eyes that possess wrinkles seemingly due to stress just beneath them.
Answer me this, what exactly has someone of your age to worry about so hard?
He warily enters the room and reaches its center, looking around in uneasiness. I bring myself a little closer while

"No more games Hades. Tell me what you did to Medusa."
Pit entered Palutena's chambers and was confronted with the Goddess of Light shouting at the jar in which the Lord of the Underworld's spirit had been imprisoned. He had never seen Palutena so angry; her eyes burned with a fury so intense that he felt rather unnerved and quietly sat down. She noticed him and her demeanour relaxed slightly though she still glared at the jar.
"I'm glad you're alright. From what I heard it was an intense battle, Thanatos has really upped his game since your last encounter."
Pit grinned, "Maybe, but he's still no match for raw angel power."
Hades' voice dripped with disbelief. "Raw angel power? And I thought my comments were cheesy."
"Stay out of this!" Palutena snapped. "Now what did you do to Medusa? She couldn't have returned on her own, you had a hand in this. Didn't you?"
Hades sighed, "Okay you got me. Before I destroyed Med

Palutena watched Pit devour the massive pizza with a mixture of amusement and shock. She would need to have to chat with him about his eating habits later but he had been through a lot and she needed him to be fully energised. Medusa's sudden return had taken her completely off guard and she needed to devise an immediate plan of attack. But first, she had to investigate who was behind Medusa's resurrection and she had a pretty good idea who it was.
"That was delicious!" Pit exclaimed, wiping tomato sauce off his chin.
Palutena smiled, "You seem to have more sauce on your tunic than on your face. Maybe I should get you a bib next time?"
"No way! I'm not a baby!" Pit said quickly, trying to hide the multiple stains on his clothing.
Palutena raised an eyebrow and placed a giant urn on the table. Pit stared at it with curiosity, "Did you make cookies or something?"

"Twinbellows! Ready to play fetch?!"
The Hellhound roared in anger and lunged at Pit who rolled aside with ease. Magnus frowned, "You seem to be pretty confident you can best this oversized puppy all of a sudden."
Pit grinned and swiftly dodged another fireball, "He's the first boss and therefore by law must be easy." He waggled a finger at Twinbellows, "You want a treat boy?"
"What do you mean 'first boss?'" Gaol shouted. This isn't some kind of videogame! Don't let your guard down for a second!"
Pit aimed the bow of light and fired a flurry of arrows at Twinbellows. The beast growled in fury and charged again, Pit performed another flawless dodge and the dog crashed into the wall.
Thanatos sounded rather annoyed, "This wasn't supposed to happen!" He pointed at the two Darknuts who were watching the combat with interest, "Get down there and deal with those pests!" The two knights nodded and leapt down into the arena,

"Indeed, Lady Palutena." answered Pit "We've worked long and hard for this new game, we totally deserve this break!" continued as he jumped into the water, splashing his goddess in the process.
"What are you reading anyway, Lady Palutena?" he asked.
"Oh, it's a book about some kind of power called 'Art of Ballooning'." answered Palutena.
"Art of Ballooning?" said Pit confused "What's that? A power to create balloon animals with ease?"

"Welcome, Chaos Kin."
Medusa stared at the strange creature hovering in front of her, whilst the dark entity physically resembled a fusion of various insects; it was by no means a mindless beast. The Chaos Kin's abilities rivalled that of the God's and underestimating it would be fatal. She was well aware of the monster's powers of possession and knew that it could easily take control of her if she let her guard down. She took a deep breath and addressed the entity.
"Allow me to introduce myself; I am Medusa, Goddess of dark..."
She was interrupted by a sudden voice in her head. Whilst the Chaos Kin could not communicate verbally, it spoke through either telepathy or its current host. She could feel its voice piercing into her mind.
"I know who you are Goddess of darkness."
Medusa paused, if it could read her mind then this could be... problematic. She cleared her throat and continued talking to the abomination.

Of course he was. Once-ler didn't have any friends, no relationship with another. And even if he did, he wouldn't have the time for them. Running the factory, filling out tons of paperwork, and dealing with his family was a hassle every day. He barely even slept, let alone have time for friends. The closest person he might consider a friend was Norma, and even then she was really only his receptionist.
Once-ler sat back in his chair and rubbed at his strained eyes. Everytime he tried to focus on his paperwork, the words would blur together and he'd get a little dizzy. He should probably sleep, but the paperwork would be hell to deal with in the morning. The hissing and dull noises of gears grinding and working were the only sounds to be heard.
He really needed someone to help him with his work as well. It was all too much for one man to do. Having help would certainly be nice every once in a while. So he needed a friend and a helper. If only he was good at making

Today I finally got myself a brand new diary~ I'm so happy that I'll have somewhere to write my thoughts down once again for the first time since my old one ran out... I kept wanting to buy a new one and Ronald was like 'Oh don't worry man, I need to think of SOMETHING to get you for Christmas' so I waited and waited and waited and you know what? He didn't even get me one. He got em a pair of lousy red socks just like he does every year.
And William? What did he get me? Why some files of course. For my paperwork. And a pen. At least he took the time to get my name engraved on the pen though... I'm writing with it right now... I ended up having to go out into the freezing snow, find an open shop and buy my own diary...
So anyway, it's been a pretty lame Christmas actually. Eric and Alan each got me a romance novel, which I actually hate even though I pretend to like them (they're all the sa

The spectral blue fire that burned in brackets on either side of its front door threatened to blow out, leaving only wisps of smoke behind in this barely tolerable weather. Strange... it seemed to have been perfectly fine not too great a distance or time ago. It must have been the ethereal energies here that affected the atmosphere in the near vicinity of the Mansion. The spirits had lingered in the Mansion since it unexpectedly arose mere days ago according to the Pr

In the cold, stone halls of the lower levels of Shibusen, there were many small rooms. One of the rooms had a bed in the corner, a desk with an unlit lamp and a bared window high above ones reach.
The heavy metal door opened, and a slim girl walked in. She wore a long sleeve, black dress with large white cuffs, matching black shoes, had short pink hair and black eyes with thick lines under them. She held a red, hardcover book in her hand and shut the door behind her.
Me and Maka went to the library today, Crona thought. She held the book with both of her hands and read the title in cursive, gold letters, Alice in Wonderland. Maka said I might like this book.
Crona walked over to her bed and laid down on it. She rested on her stomach, stretched across the bed, and opened the book. She started to read and began to drift away.

"Okay, so if we're going to go after Hades..." Pit started to say.
"Then we have to go to the Underworld, obviously!" Viridi finished.

Pit now stood before the heavenly temple where the goddess Viridi resided. As expected of nature's spiritual ruler, the temple itself was constructed entirely out of natural materials. Pillars of oak held up the structure, and bright-green vines ran along the sides, filling in gaps and further strengthening its foundation. Standing before the temple's entrance was a crude statue of Viridi herself, made with hardened mud. It was a rather imposing-looking place, not a place that Pit would normally want to visit. Nonetheless, he had to go in, for the sake of Lady Palutena.
