The first phase of this piece, for the very sweet and patient Mark Zeidan . This is the second half of a two-piece commission he asked for a while back. I'm on to inking now! And then most likely to celebrate the fact that I HAVE PHOTOSHOP AGAIN *squeal* I will probably color this. ^__^ And you'll notice there's not any striping. No markings whatsoever. That's on purpose, because I know Mark plans to color the piece and so do I, and markings in Photoshop look a heck of a lot better than with a pencil. ;D
The scanner pooped it up a bit, and some lines are very faint. I'll have to mess with the settings and maybe drop the brightness on the scanner a bit.
This is a drawing done for a friend as a tattoo idea. I found a similar idea online and added arms, wings and shading. I also incorporated the wings folding into a heart, a spade on the end of the tail, a fragment of eggshell in the shape of a diamond, and a club on the foot.
