Our Batgirls-and-woman group for Metro Comic Con 2010 last Sunday. :D

All of our group photos are of us walking around the con, so these are the best we have. :D Good thing ~incoldmirrors insisted we do a little shoot in her room before we headed out.

:iconincoldmirrors: as Kate Kane
:iconteluete: as Barbara Gordon
:iconzehntes: as Cassandra Cain
:iconbundokera: as Stephanie Brown

Hey All! Super Extra Special thanks to Adrian Nation for the Nose, most of the Mouth and Ears, the basics on the costume, this is pretty much a Mod of his Super Stellar and Awesome Robin III (3) Tim Drake to look like Damian Wayne (Bruce Wayne's Son) and the current Robin, Robin V (5). (Dick Grayson -1 Jason Todd -2 Tim Drake -3 Stephanie Brown -4). The Little Red Strip at the bottom attaches just under the belt, although their are no slit marks. Enjoy everyone, more to come! ***I just updated him to a Yellow Belt Buckle like in the comics ***

Crest style steampunk trinkets riveted together from old cogwheels and brass/copper plates etc. (Decorative patterns in that copper are made with rolling mill.) Heights are about 60 mm.

It's kind like a deluxe version from this older pendant set: [link]

Closer look from the props what i made for my "Neo-Victorian costume".

First medal is my company logo from silver & copper, Skull medal is made from old zink keychain and that third one is made from real Finnish army badges from the 50's. (Ribbons are made from same fabrics what they use in real WW2-insignia.)

I also bought secondhand Swiss army glacier goggles from army surplus store, removed original black paint from the brass frames and made proper leather strap & brass buckle for replacing original black fabric ribbon.
Also the "pocket pistol" is a modification from Derringer shaped cigarette lighter what i buy in the mid nineties. Winged brass badge from that bowler is only a mix from old railroader cockade, ladies wristwatch frame and red glass cabochon.

Version two of Sailor Galaxia's bracelets. This time they are made as real jewery. Polished brass cuffs, gold-plated filigree, Swarovski crystals. The cuffs are unplated so they may be squeezed to fit the wearer's wrist snugly. Based on the manga images.

A pair of these will be $200. :)

Technically not textile cause it is mostly rubber and other stuff but it is a costume so it goes here.
There is still some work i would like to do with this such as touch up some paint, maybe change the eyes but mostly i need to fix the rigging cause the spine is really heavy and pulls it down so you cant see thats why there are the chains but id like to fix it. Also need to fix the air circulation so it is more comfortable. Hopefully all done by Emerald City Comicon.
Made from chiropractic spine model, soviet gas mask, bald cap, bicycle helmut, two part epoxy (lots of it), wallet chains, and black fabric paint. (fabric paint works great on rubber)

Version : 1.8
Appeared : Ad Astra 2008
Photo c/o : Elemental = :iconelemental-sight:

These shots from Amanda are the only ones that seem to show any of the details of my crazy paint job. (And I actually forgot to bring a couple of the extra accessory pieces...but I suppose no one would notice...?)

You do not want to know the number of swearwords that went into making this hoodie :XD:

But no, I'm really happy with how it turned out. All the webbing is drawn by hand, and it was my first time doing sleeves like this. I'm kind of mad that the insides arent' serged (what a time for my serger to break :( ), but fleece doesn't fray and one of my friends bought a fleece hat online that wasn't serged, so I guess it isn't THAT unprofessional.

Commissioned by :iconroppichii: Thank you for waiting for this beast to get done. I hope you like it.

So, yes, I take commissions :) But PLEASE send me a note if you are interested. Prices are outlined on my page, go there :)
Do NOT ask in a comment "how much is blablabla?" ...I won't answer :paranoid:

Design by Rosy Higgins, it's not mine.

Thanks everyone for 3000 Dark Link views!

This is the close-up from the other one.

Minimal editing. I touched up my melty face paint a little and blackened the corners of my eyes. I think that's it.

Hope everyone likes it!
