Roses. The room had gathered a hint of it once I entered the room that morning. Being a vampire, I had an enhanced sense of smell, and the scent of that lustrous flower was driving me crazy! Most would find it rather strange for a male to enjoy such a feminine flower but when such a thing reminds you of your mom you learn to get attached quite quickly.
I took my seat at the front of the class, beside my friend Tony who immediately passed me a note as I sat. I gave him an odd look, wondering why he didnt just speak to me and upon reading the note I understood why.
The new Goth girl is pretty cute, isnt she?
Sneaking a glance behind Tony, I found a shy smile spread across my face. She was most definitely different. Blue hair cut shorter than most females and grey eyes that stared boredly at black polished nails. She wore no makeup, showing a natural beauty all on its own. Turning back to him I nodded, but not before noticing the rose scen

The woman nodded and stepped up to one of many shelves that lined the room. Reaching up, she pulled a book out at random. The text had been bound by soft, black leather, the title painted beautifully in a dark purple.
"The Banished One," she mumbled under her breath. Obake sucked in a breath upon hearing the title, and Sky lifted her head to look at him. "Obake? What's wrong?"
"Ah, nothing child, nothing. Excuse me for a moment, please?" Hurriedly the man walked out, leaving Sky to herself.
Shrugging, she stroked the spine of the book and walked over to a table, sliding into one of the elaborate chairs and setting the book do

The moment he left however, she began to cry.
Renji came running back into the room.
"H-hinoro-chan?! What's the matter?!"
He took her into his arms and rubbed her back.
"Do you feel sick?"
Hinoro sniffled, rubbing her teary eyes.
"Taicho!" She cried.
Wrapping her tiny arms around his neck as best she could, she snuggled into his arms and cried more.
"Taicho! No go!" she wimpered.
"Ah... Hinoro..." Renji whispered, coddling her. "It's ok... Taicho's right here."
He kissed her cheek.
She looked up at him and nodded, wiping her eyes.
"Taicho..." she muttered, looking sleepy.
He nuzzled her, sliding into the bed.
"I'll stay right here with you... don't worry."
Renji watched Hinoro sleep in the bed, the covers up to her little ears.
"She's so adorable." He said to himself.
It had only been a year or two since Hisana had died.

Raven hair fell into the face of a newly woken Byakuya.
The man looked across the room to the door.
A familiar red head stood in place of his door, a bundle in his arms.
"She's awake now? At this hour?" Byakuya asked, looking at his clock. His eyes widened for a moment, but soon returned to their normal dark sweetness.
"Renji... it's nearly 4:00 am..."
The red head nodded, coddling the bundle and kissing it softly.
"...But she wants to be up. You know we can't stop her."
Byakuya pulled his covers down, making room for the small wrap of cloth.
"I've told you before that if she doesn't get used to it now, then she will never sleep alone."
He tried to make his voice sound stern, but only softend his voice when the baby was layed beside him.
She had been wimpering slightly. But the moment Renji layed her on the bed, she set her eyes on Byakuya and grew quiet.
PitA: The Dark-Lost ChapterAuthor's Notes: Normally here on DA I wouldn't put my notes IN the fic like I do at fanfiction dot net... but I feel as though I need to set a warning on this little one-shot continuation of "Pain in the Axel".... you see, first of all, you will have had to read all of Pain in the Axel to get this one... I mention little things that you normally wouldn't get unless you've read it... and then there's the other thing, I don't call this the Lost Dark chapter for nothing... it's dark. sad. very much unlike the comedy you find in the rest of the story. Infact I nearly desided to scrap this and forget about it. But when I sit in the dark, I think about this one a lot, and I still love it in a way, even though it's not comedy... so I hope you can still like it... you can take it as part of PitA or say meh forget this chapter...PitA: The Dark-Lost Chapter8 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This
and do please look forward to the Sequel, it will be filled with comedy just like the rest, but until then I give you this.

"Yes. It is a massive organization whose only purpose is to obtain the ideal of controlling the universe and all dimensional realms as one big super power. However, many people within the universe refuse to abide by the iron fist policies of the Empire. Therefore, the Imperial f

In his own private quarters within the abandoned Castle of Nations Amusement Park, Karl sat at the dinner table with a violin in hand, enjoying the chance to play a little tune before his next murder.
Karl sat on an old, rickety wooden chair in front of a long, chipped wooden table. Upon the table were plates filled with assorted fruits and meats. It would look like the most appetizing feast possible were it not for the fact that all the food was plastic. At the center of the table was a fancy centerpiece: a tiny ceramic castle, which was currently being used by Arma as a perch.
As Karl played a slow, almost mournful tune of his own creation on the violin, he looked across the long table at his dinner guest. A young girl wearing a cyan shirt was tied to the chair. Her hands were also tied behind the chair.

I remembered running through the trees. The blood spattered on my skin burned and I could feel it etching trails down my arms, face, and chest. This wasnt the first time I had run this path, from the same place to a familiar destination. My reasons for doing so were disturbingly similar, but somehow completely different. I was weak and I couldnt escape that fact. No matter how fast I ran, eventually it would catch me. I realized that I was in the village now, and I was screaming. It was odd to be so detached from myself. I felt my body collapse. I wanted so badly to run forever and never look back, but I was too weak to go on. I lay on the ground, feeling foreign and separate from the world. I was alone now. Completely alone. I had no family or friends. That past life was at an end. For the second time, as people emerged from their homes, I fell unconscious on the pavement, covered in the blood of loved ones.
