An Angel on this Field of Ice,
I hesitantly step on this,
Field of Ice.
This surface of ice,
It is but the most slippery,
Field of ice.
I try moving slowly,
On this surface of ice,
But my Crooked skates,
Knock me off balance.
As I start to fall,
For the very first time,
I accept help,
And In no time,
A hand catches me within the fall,
She catches me from my misery,
And helps me escape the pain,
Field Of Ice.
With the sweetest voice,
Asks me,"Are you OK?",
Even though I seem afraid,
I nod aimlessly,
While I reach for her fragile hand,
I grab her hand firmly,
With the the grip even death itself,
Knows to be too tight.
This grip is,
And Almost unbearable.
Even though it is so hard,
For her to bear,
She continues to hold my hand,
Helping me inch forward on this slippery,
Field of Ice,
At first we move slowly,
But our speed gradually increases,
She lets go,
Telling me, "I will be back"
I watch her c

Broken so many times,

They couldn't be pieced together.
You did something that was
You gave me a new heart,

Its powers are so unparalleled,
That we can't even begin to understand,
What lies behind the word, Love.
It is so powerful it gives us something that escapes us, Bravery.
Here I will be,
Waiting for you,
Hoping to find the answer,
To what Love truly is.

The Game Changers Pt 1 - Avengers Crossover"Jaaarvis!" A voice that sounded horribly groggy and congested cried out. Tony stark was in his room, bedridden from the flu. At first, when Pepper spoke to him over the phone she thought for sure that he was faking so he could get out of the press conference he had today. This, however, was not true. Tony was actually sick. He had been in bed all day, at least two blankets draped over him at any time for when he got cold chills. Two tissue boxes, along with many used tissues sitting on the floor, a pile of cough drops, and a half finished glass of water all cluttered his nightstand next to his bed. Even though he was sick, he for some reason decided that he needed to use his laptop. He was half sitting up, the computer on his lap, typing something into a program before the laptop completely shut down, its screen quickly flashing to black. "Why are all da computer systems shuttin' down fa no damned weason!? This is a fic about Loki’s prison scene which pulled at my heartstrings pretty bad, and left me wanting to expand on it a bit more. I wanted to convey the depth of emotion and turmoil of what Loki was going through while being imprisoned. This is a one-shot. I do hope you enjoy ~
Asgard was falling. Chaos erupted amongst the normally quiet and carefree halls of the palace. The glittering golden spires of the great hall were the latest target of the legions of dark elves descending upon the city of gods. Asgardian soldiers were dying at a frightening rate. Malekith’s army seemed to be gaining the upper hand, bringing with them weapons of unbridled power that the Asgardians were unprepared for. Malekith, the dark elf with visions of ru
A Week With LokiThe beginning of the week with Loki was more normal than I expected. I told the god that he could sleep either in the yellow room or somewhere upstairs, instead of in the basement. He agreed to sleep upstairs in the room next to mine, but he spent most of the day in the basement. I didn’t know what he does down there, and I realized I didn’t want to know.A Week With Loki3 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
Then again, I spent most of my time upstairs on the computer. We weren’t bothering each other, and we basically only saw the other during the meal times. I was happy that this wasn’t awkward.
We ate dinner, like, usual and we both went upstairs for bed. I went to the computer before I slept and Loki went into the room with the two twin beds. I used the bigger room and I slept on the bigger bed. Still, I felt bad that he always got the small bed. I offered Loki my room, but he declined.
So, I went to bed at about 10:00. I sighed as I laid down in the big bed and covered myself in the sheet and blanket.

You two were driving for about half an hour now. The creek is just thirty more minutes away. You and Annabel had discovered the creek after she had gotten you two lost one day. It was when she first gotten her driver's license.
Right now you were looking out the window watching as you finally left the city scene behind. You were kicking your feet against the floor when you hit a bag. You looked down and picked up Anna's purse from last night.
You threw her purse in the back and notice that your phone was on the ground along with two laminated pieces of paper. You reached down and picked everything up. You held the papers in your hands and laughed. They were your fake IDs from last night.
"How could anyone believe that we were these people!?" You laughed. "We look nothing like the two in the pictures!"
Anna looked over at you and smiled. "Yeah and with names like 'Anita Bath' and 'Amanda Huggenkiss', you think they would know they were fake!" She laughed l

Sif waited, as she had done for weeks, waiting intently for the man who stood before her. Every word he spoke to her now-a-days was an anchor to her shattering world.
"What news Heimdall?" She asked anxiously for the third time that afternoon.
Heimdall, Gate Keeper of the Bifrost remained silent for several moments, his strange colored eyes staring off into the distance, seeing the goings on in Midgard with a well-trained mind.
"Heimdall?" She asked once more growing antsier with each passing second that he didn't answer her.
"I must see events before I can recount them, Asgardian." He said calmly, not bothering to look at her. "I will tell you what I see, when I have seen it."
Sif sighed but decided to show the proper respect towards the Gate Keeper. "I cannot stay; I have an audience with the All-Father."
Heimdall nodded, "I know of your inquiry to the Odin, Asgardian."
Sif wanted more than anything to stay, but she didn't want to risk

You and him both know that if you accidently went over the top on your prank, then the prank is gonna be on you specially delivered from the Green Giant himself. You turned from your spot to have everyone in plain sight.
‘Who should I mess with first?’ you mischievously thought. You looked over to Clint, who was struggling with a can of peanuts he found on the coffee table.

It has been said that there are two forces governing over this universe: those of "good" and those of "evil". Both are necessarily in direct opposition to one another, yet this is not to say that one is absolutely right and the other absolutely wrong. Thus great care should be taken, when examining both sides of ANY tale for the forces of "good" have often been known to blind the eye far worse than the lulling comforts of the darkness ever could.
High above the physical planes of Earth, amidst the brightest of stars, exists a celestial dome called Heaven which houses legions of Archangels and is permanent sanctuary for the self proclaimed deity Jehovah. In foundation the dome is sustained only by the softest, most divine array of primarily feathery white clouds which change color sporadically. For its walls there grew miraculously spectacular twisting vines of ivy that interwove lotus flowers that were adorned in periwinkle and lavender. Brilliant globes of light illuminated down from

I look into the night sky
The stars, they're so beautiful
So bright, I find myself wondering,
What is the purpose of those unearthly beings?
I look down at my small hands
As the night sky fills up my mind
Suddenly my dreams of being bigger seem so...
But what if?
If I was bigger
If I was more important...
Would I be able to catch one?
I sit staring out the window
Out in the night I see something peculiar
I encounter a shooting star
I shut my eyes and leave my being behind
And to that one falling star
I confide my dreams.
I look down at my hands
They've grown bigger
Calloused with experience.
As I walk out in the night
I encounter a shooting star
Again, with a faint familiarity
I trust my dreams to that star.
It's the same dream.
At that moment I realize with a sudden clarity
Just what stars are.
Leaving behind the other celestial beings
Who are too scared to begin the journey
Too scared to be extraordinary
Just like the rest of the world.

Sherlock sighed as he peered down the microscope at the slide he was examining. He was bored out of his brains. No murders had happened, and nothing else that had happened really warranted his attention. He hadn't heard from Lestrade for weeks, and even Mycroft seemed to have decided to have a break from irritating him. It was a sign of the degree of his boredom that he was almost half wishing that Mycroft would appear, smugly irksome as usual, to attempt to bully him into taking a case (not that Sherlock would ever have admitted this to his brother). He didn't even need to be at Barts for any case it was just a distraction, and a very poor one at that.

Data was in Ryker's quarters, skimming through his bookshelf. "So, what book do you want to borrow, Data?" Will asked his friend. "Borrowing" was just a formality, since the android could read three hundred pages in two seconds if he really wanted to.
"I am not certain, Commander," Data replied. "You have so many different genres to choose from."
"Well, since you're interested in humor " Ryker pulled out a book from the shelf and handed it to his friend. "Try this one." The title read Two Hundred 20th Century Pranks.
Data cocked his head. "I believe that is a good choice. Thank you."
Later in his quarters, the android read the book in about two seconds, but then skimmed it further. Data decided that the senior crew probably wouldn't mind if he tried a few of the pranks out
The first prank Data decided to try out was the wedgie. This particular prank mystified him the most. Why would pulling someone's underwear up be funny?
He was still pondering this when
