Link watched as you lay on the solid rock platform, the fairies tending to your wounds. You looked angelic even when injured. How could this have happened? How...could he have let this happen?
The blonde swallowed the lump forming in his throat. He had promised himself he would protect you. From the moment you joined him on his journey. From the moment he knew you wouldn't leave his side, he had promised.
Now look at what happened. Was he sure he could protect you anymore? Or at all?
He mouthed a curse under his breath, choking back tears. He couldn't cry. Heroes don’t cry. But you both had been through so much together….and to see you like this…all because of him…
Link was lost in sorrowful thought, not noticing

"You're not leaving me." You heard a voice say sleepily in your ear. You smiled and turned your head to see your boyfriend, Link, smiling back at you. You stared into his stunning blue eyes, taking in every detail on his face. His blonde hair was in a tangled mess across his face, and he looked downright cute.
You smiled, flashing your teeth.
"I have to get up. Someone needs to." You said. You tried moving again, but his arm stayed locked around your waist.
"And, you're not going anywhere. You're staying right here with me." He said, placing a warm kiss on your lips. You took the kiss without hesitating, moving closer to him. You moved so close both of your foreheads were touching. Once the both of you pulled away, you laughed slightly at the che
Wounds (Link X Reader)It was a peaceful night in your village, placed not too far away from Hyrule's Castle Town. You were staring out your window and gazing up at the stars when you heard a faint knock on the door. You decided to ignore it, probably someone from the town coming to sell you something for Rupees you just don't have. You heard the knocking again, though it was a lot louder.Wounds (Link X Reader)8 months ago in Romance More Like This
"(Naaaaaaaaaame)..." A familiar voice said, it sounded tired and weak.
"Link?" You instantly said, and rushed to the door. When you opened the door you couldn't help but gasp. Link was covered in wounds. Cuts across his arms, some on his legs, one across his face, but you noticed the most was the large wound on the side of his torso. He weakly smiled when you saw him, but he was swaying back and forth slightly.
"Link, what happened?" You asked him with a concerned voice as you helped him inside.
"A few Bokoblins. I'll be fine." He reassured you.
"Doesn't look like a few to me." You said, taking his sword and shield and pla

There was affection being shown towards you that Link didn't really like.
You were standing outside your room, leaning against your door and talking to some of the castle guards. The lead guard would say something to you, and your cheeks would flame red at whatever 'romantic' thing he said to you. Then the three boys would laugh at your reaction. They loved the look of you suddenly becoming flustered. Sometimes the guard would whisper things into your ear, and you would flush red from ear to ear at it. Then once again they would laugh at you.
And Link was hating it. Although you weren't his girlfriend. Yet.
He was internally punching each of those guards every time one of them got you to smile slightly. Although it didn't really look like a real smile. It looked like you wanted to get out of that situation. But he was

It was hard. Loving someones whose first love is "Adventure". You thought, maybe, after Hyrule was saved, he'd relax and settle down with you. But you were sadly mistaken. Every other week he leaves you to go see some new part of the land, or see how Zelda's doing. You don't mind, not really. I mean, he just spent 7 years trying to save her...okay maybe you're jealous. But what girlfriend wouldn't be? You sighed and fixed a few strands of hair. You set the dishes out to dry, and checked on your meal. Not done yet. Sitting at your dining set, you stared up at the wooden shield and small sword that hung above your fireplace. It was his from when he was younger. You wish you could have visited his old village with him. He said no one but kids lived there. You wondered how, and asked him frequently, but he always said "It was a story for another time".
It was getting dark out. Dinner had just finished. Another night alone, as you started to eat. There were two loud bangs at your door, scar

If you had learned one thing about Link after all these years of traveling with him, it was that he had an gargantuan sweet tooth.
You had paid close attention to the young man as you both strolled through Castle Town. (And it definitely was not because you liked him!)
You would watch as his gaze restlessly touched over everything in sight, examining all of the wares for sale with tireless curiosity.
Even though he so-eagerly drank in his surroundings, he never stopped to admire anything up close. It was almost as if nothing meant enough for the busy hero to stop him in his tracks... Well, except for one thing.
Whenever you passed by a candy shop or a vendor selling sweets, Link's cerulean eyes would sparkle like aquamarine jewels, glistening with both awe and lust for the treat. Like a child, his facial expressions would shift to convey his desires.
For a split second that others would never notice, Link's breath would catch in his throat, his feet failing to move for a

Eren groaned, rolling over in the sheets.
“I COME FROM A PLACE OF PROSPERITY, AND RICHES.”
There was silence. The brown-haired boy was half asleep, but conscious enough to hope that the vexatious yelling would die down soon.
Of course, he was mistaken. The now rather pissed off male took his pillow, and slammed it against the sides of his head, covering his ears. He knew it wouldn't block out the noise completely, but he hoped it would help some.
Before he knew it, Eren had dozed off,

The Legend of Zelda Fanfiction: Our Past, My Future.
Standing in a nearby field, Link laughs to himself as he watches you chase the local Cuckoo around. It had recently stolen your small bag of Rupees, that you were going to treat him to a meal with. You have been at this for at least 10 minutes now. Tackling the cute feathered foe, you pry your Rupee bag out of it's mouth, and walk back to Link. "Sorry...You ready, Mr.Hero?" He smiles, and pats your head.
Regrettably, Link has to leave. This is an un-needed trip to the past, that he took for personal gain. Personal gain to which he isn't that honestly guilty for. For the next time he goes back to his adult body, he needs to fight Ganon. He wanted to see your happy face, one more time before he left. He wanted to hear you giggle his name, smile at him, and hug him, just one more time...Once more before he had to face the terrible truth. "You gonna eat?" you ask tilting your head to the side, notably cute-like.
Anything but a princess (LoZ - Link x Reader)Slowly, Link walked through the once so peaceful city called Castle Town. Though he didn't show it, Link was utterly shocked about how much the town had changed over the past few years. Monsters were lurking around every corner and there were no people left, apart from some shady figures who transacted omnious buisness in the remaining buildings. Survivors escaped a long time ago and settled down in the nearby Kakariko Village, trying to continue a normal life as best they could. Burried in thought, the Hero of Time walked aimelessly about the market place, not noticing the pair of glistering eyes that lay in wait for him among the shades of the narrow alleys. Not paying any attention to his way, Link turned around into the next street. However, a dull sound made him stop dead in his tracks.Anything but a princess (LoZ - Link x Reader)8 months ago in Romance More Like This

Link was out however. He said he needed to 'run some errands and say hello to Zelda' and that he would be back by nightfall.
It was a little past nightfall now, however. You were feeling a little worried.
That worry drained away when you heard someone open the door and then half-slam it shut.

I was so excited. Though it had only been a week I loved it here already. My father and I lived in a small little village before Castle Town. We set up a bakery in a little side ally but it was close to the back gate. Not many people knew about us here but I liked it here so far. We got to meet so many new people. Sure I missed people back home but they all wanted us to come here for my father to earn more Rupees.
I was so happy either way. Right now I was in the town center selling so bread from my basket. It was getting dark but the lights and people were out now. My father was baking more right now. There was a big festival going on in the bigger and longer road. It was the Harvest Festival so everyone was so excited and happy as they ate and danced around the huge bonfire.
Well there was until I heard a scream and everyone ran away. I stayed where I was as I was pushed down by all the people. I curled into a ball and protected myself as people flew past me. They soon died down and

You simply wanted to be at home. But at the same time, you were craving a little adventure.
You heard the sound of horse hooves galloping through the grass. At first you thought your mind was playing tricks until you heard a loud knock on your front door, making you jump. Walking to the door, you swung it open quickly to see Link beaming down at you on top of Epona.
"Would you like to go for a ride? I haven't really had a lot to do, soooo..." Link said, smiling.
Humming in agreement, you patted Epona's nuzzle, and Link helped you up onto his horse. You sat behind him, as you always did. You were so lucky to have a best friend who was this amazing (and extremely attractive.). He yelled something, and Epona started galloping very fast, making you shriek and grip onto Link's shoulders for support.
"I wanna show you something!" Link yelled over the wind. "I know you'll like it!"

The day was slowly coming to an end. The sky’s beautiful blue color was fading away, replaced by bright warm tones of pink, orange and purple as the sun gently declined from his spot in the sky to descend below the horizon, where he was to light up the lands of other kingdoms and vast seas. The moon had made its appearance at the opposite of the burning star, its little companions gently beginning to twinkle into existence by its side. This was your favourite moment of the day, where it seemed worlds were to collide with each other as day and night fought each other to rule over the skies. It didn’t seem right of them to do such a thing, since they were but merely celestial bodies, floating in outer space for some reason unknown to all. But the thought of them fighting was a way to explain to kids why the sun and the moon were never up there, lighting the world with their bright light, at the same t

As another summer morning began, you quietly slept in your bedroom with your favorite comforter around your body. The sound of the ocean’s waves outside, along with a light breeze emitted by an open window, made you feel at peace. That was one luxury you absolutely loved about living at a mansion in California: the coast being your next door neighbor.
You barely experienced the noise level to be so low like it was now. Your family, consisting of your mother, father, and big brother, owned a large corporation and dealt with other companies from all around. Because of this, you would hear them every morning, either taking care of business or talking to one of the numerous maids or butlers in the mansion. It was almost impossible for the house to become completely silent.
Thankfully, you got the opportunity to stay home and have the whole place to yourself for one week while the rest of your family went to New York for a business trip. All of the servants were gone, meaning y

Where to you did not know. You looked out the window and noticed that the sun was slowly melting into a orange-red color in the sky. Usually Link was back at this time and you would most likely be sitting together and watching a film with popcorn.
After a few minuted of staring at the sun, you could hear the sound of keys clicking into the lock of the door and Link stepping in with a smile on his face. When he shut the door and dumped the keys into a small bowl by the door, you stared at him.

All day, during work, whilst eating lunch, even before you went to sleep every night. What? It passes the time for you! And you live a very miserable life.
You were sat at home watching TV, but weren't paying much attention as the music was blasting into your ears.
