The final Journey print out of three I'll be selling at AX. I really really loved this level, so dramatic and uplifting~ The embroidery was all done by my tired hand, but totally worth it.

This was a piece of fan art that I did while I was waiting for the game to be released. It was originally supposed to look like stained glass, but now it sorta looks like a mosaic; either way I am happy with the result.

This is really one of the most beautiful soundtracks I've ever heard. Sometimes serenely ambient, sometimes bouncily frolicking, everything about it just makes me feel so inspired. I envy everyone with a PS3.

I knew I wanted to make an album cover of some sort, so I snooped around the internet, looking for good wallpapers to start from. Eventually I found this [link] which was both large enough (oh, proper resolution! how I love you), and exactly the image I was looking for. I was originally planning on just doing a crop – the game is pretty enough, honestly. Adding any more, I thought, would just make it look worse. Unfortunately though, the text was too large for the image's height to make a proper square. So I built out from the sides. I thought it would be nice to somehow incorporate the designs on the pilgrim's clothes into the outside, so I tried to recreate the first layer using squares.

Hopefully I haven't completely ruined the beauty of the game.

Here's an exemplary piece from the album: [link]

Another Journey doodle.

Didn't spend too much time on this one, and it was only really done because I was in a 'draw everything with orange' mood.
I love orange. I really do.

I suppose you'd call it a speedpaint, but I wasn't trying to do it speedy either... Oh well, it's a drawing and that's all that's important.

Lots of Journey love~

It was impossible for me to do this wonderful game justice, but I had to try. Anyone who has not played this amazing game should definitely give it a try, and anyone who has, I hope to journey with you sometime!

Haha! Another speedpaint done :)

I honesty have no idea how long i spend on it. I know sure its longer then 2 hours. But i dont care, I made one drawing in one day (with some breaks and stuff in between). And the fact i finish something in one day, is what counts :D

Commissions are open, 200 Points for landscapes like this or OC, Fantasy, Flowers, Animals, leave me a note

I cheated a little by studying a tutorial :P. And most time took for finding the right brush to draw. But I am pretty pleased with the end result :) better then expected, I am not good with drawing trees and shrubs at all!

Resources
Stock: [link] from =Dr4kon <-- Speed Painting challenge and this was the stock. Challenge was held by Sparkyyy.
Tutorials: YES.. I had to use a few tutorials on drawing / speedpainting Landscapes as i am not so good.. Specially with drawing TREES << (did pretty well though i think)
Others: I used special brushes to do the leaves and bits of the grass. Also special brushes for the leaves in the background.

If you have a ps3, get this game. It's a little short (I beat it in 2 hours)but definitely worth the money. I drew this a little after I completed it this afternoon, the character was hard to draw because the camera angles in the game are landscape, never really close up on the player.
