Pain. The smell of Blood.
A part of him felt these were memories. He was not sure.
The dream would black out after that.
Then the sound of Machine Gun Fire.
A man speaking in German. A shadow of a Nazi general.
More gun fire. Another mans voice.
"What's your name kid?" What's your name? the sound echoed.
He told the voice he couldn't remember.
He woke up. Cold sweat. Like it was a nightmare. But he was not sure if he would call it that. He shook it off. It was dark. No windows in his room. He didn't need the lights on. He heard a ringing sound. A digital ringing sound. He took out a small white hearing aid like device from on top of his drawer next to his bedside. Choosing not to turn the lamp on. He placed it in his ear and pushed on the outer rubber nub on the hearing peace which was a button to the device underneath. " Yeah?" he said aloud speaking to the small microphone.
" The general wants you in the meeting room" A fe

I turned over in my bed; willing the phone to stop rining.
I pulled the pillow up and placed it over my head, hoping to drown out the noise.
"ugh." I grumbled. I finally gave in and opened my eyes. The moon was still out and the stars danced brilliantly in the night sky from outside my window; winking at me. I looked at my bedside table to see my cellphone, ringing and vibrating along the wooden surface. I looked first at my clock, which told me that it was only 3 in the morning. I tiredly reached for the phone and checked the caller I.D.
My heart skipped a beat when I saw that it was Chrystal Abrams. Chrystal had been a childhood friend of mine for years, and she was my secret crush but I could never confront her about it. I could never tell her my real feelings for her. It's not like I hadn't tried, of course. However, every time I tried to admit my feelings, my body would go stiff, my mind would go blank, and I would be lost in

Why do I have to watch her silly cat? I sighed, this was going to be a boring summer. I had just celebrated my birthday a week ago, I turned sixteen, and my Aunt had come to visit. She told me she was going to Europe for several weeks, and I was to watch her "special" cat for her. I got out of my little red Toyota Corolla and walked up to my Aunts cabin style house. The cobblestone path that led to her house made a loud sound under my feet as I walked to the door.
I took out the small silver key that she gave me and unlocked the door, hearing the soft click it made. Once I was inside I found a note on the coatrack that was to the right of the door. I knew it was for me, seeing that it had my name on it.
Dear Atheira Vhlakis,
Here are you instructions for the job that I have requested of you.
You are not to touch the cat, let it out or pay it any attention other
than feeding it and such. The food is in the cabinet under the stove.
The cat is located i

I woke up, still in his arms. I gently tried to pull out of them, so not to wake him. Once I had wiggled out of them, I got up and quietly left the room. I really needed to get out of here. I found my way to the Iron door, that I knew must lead to outside. I put my hand on the cold metal handle and pulled to try to open it.
I heard a high-pitched beep from behind me, which soon followed with a pain in my shoulder. I looked over and saw a dart stuck into my shoulder, and I felt my knees shake. Cold spread through my body as my legs gave out and I fell to the floor. I felt drowsiness overwhelm me, as I passed out.
I woke up and opened my eyes to him holding me. He looked alittle upset, as he stared down at me. I felt a slight tinge of fear. He sighed and said "You shouldn't try to escape. You know even if you get out, you'll just get caught by me later." I gulped and shakily said to him, "I'm going to die anyway, it's at least worth a try to escape. I don't want to

I awoke, feeling somebody holding me. I opened my eyes slowly and saw someone, their head rested on my shoulder. I also saw I was in a completely different house, on a large sofa. I tried to move but they held me in a matter so that I couldn't move, but not that I could do much if I could, I was so weak from blood loss I was surprised I was even awake or could move at all. I knew he felt my attempt to move, because he moved his head from my shoulder, until his gaze was locked with mine.
His hair was a raven black, and his skin was a porcelain white, but his eyes .his eyes, they were a spring green, exactly like that of the cat's. Oh no I squirmed as my eyes widened in fear, scared that he might bite me again. But he held me tightly, and leaned to my ear, whispering softly "Shh Calm down " His voice was soothing and smooth, like velvet. I relaxed in his grip and he moved back to meet my gaze, a smile playing at his lips. "Good girl "He said, then kissed my cheek

I woke up in Zerek's bed, feeling pretty much recovered besides alittle weak and my ribs hurt. I peeled open my eyes and glanced around, looking for any sign of Zerek though I found none. I sat up and stretched, feeling my bones crack as I did so. I swung my feet down from the bed and stood up.
I walked to the door and put my hand the doorknob feeling the cold metal beneath my fingers, and opened the door. I entered the living room and looked around, noticing I was in utter darkness. I felt around for the light switch and turned the lights on, my eyes stinging at the sudden light. After a moment, a small wooden door caught my attention, as it was directly across the room from the large iron one.
I reached for the silver-colored handle to the door and twisted it open, revealing a set of stairs that led downward to darkness. I flicked the lights on and walked downward, leaving the door open. I found myself in a strange room, with four doors leading to different rooms, most likely, and pa

Bags packed hastily on an un made bed.
Inactive blue tack firmly attached to the walls.
Earthly possessions compiled regrettably.
Unfortunate circumstances have been confirmed.
Your chariot has arrived to take you away.
The hardest part is yet to come.
I know our connection will weaken.
No matter how hard we try to cling on.
Change is something we cannot avoid.
Memories are all we have to hold on to.
Realities rewind button has been disabled.
This game can never be won.
Humour temporarily dilutes the situation.
Silence is the only language spoken.
Eyes exchange compromising glances.
Half hearted commitments announced.
Things will never be the same.
This equations amounts to a complicated sum.
As you stand In the door way about to exit.
Life's bank has withdrawn all the quality time we invested.
Hopeful plans for the future proclaimed.
Of which a fixed date can never be named.
I will miss you more than you ever know.
I've finally accepted the fact that you must go.
