A painting I did sometime ago. I think around December last year. Mother and Father pulled a guilt card on me to go with them to a church picnic/ asian community gathering. Something about 'We haven't seen each other in months. We're family' spiel. I love them to death, but sigh... I have nothing against God, but the community... :groan:
So I snuck away to paint in some quiet and remote area far away from the community for about 3 to 4 hours after being yoinked to 'mingle' with the church.

It was nice after the escape. The air was cool. The random people outside the church such as children came to talk. The birds chirped. A raccoon hide near the lake. Ducks swam here and there. The nature was great... Till mother somehow found me through driving throughout the park with the evil Asian matriarch face that I know all you Asian boys and girls know when faced with it. You know what I'm talking about! It's worse when your mother is for the most part a naive and sweet kid at heart, so it always throws you into surprise to remember they can be insane at any turn! O_O;;;
I should have just hopped in my car and vanished like a ninja. All that went through my head was:"ZOMG! SHE HAS ZOMBIE JESUS HUNTING/HAUNTING POWERS! HOLY SHIT!!!!" ^_^ :glares at Jesus in the big blue sky: 'Why? You traitor!' Now that I think about it as a memory, half the things she said and did were kind of funny. Lol.
Media: Watercolor mostly with gouache for highlights on blue tone paper. I think I barely, barely used pencil to figure placement.
