Website concept done for a proposal of a oriental restaurant based in Campinas, São Paulo - Brazil. The main idea was pretty much to mix elements from japanese and chinese culture, which compose the interface and at the same time keeps a fresh and clean look, like the restaurant i'm working for.
Ive just finished at college for the summer, and got accepted into the next course.
I have a few things from this year that I'd like to upload, including a very special one. ;) Stay tuned for more work~~
Also, I stumbled across this fantastic artist on fb, Joni Belaruski, whos work inspired this piece. Please go have a look at her artwork, you will not be disappointed. www.facebook.com/jonibelaruski…

Second place winner of the The Advertising Club of Connecticut's Out of Home Competition 2013. The theme was "Adopt a Shelter Pet". Little Sora's face is going to be seen on Connecticut highways encouraging people to adopt all pets from shelters. Not bad for a pet store bird, huh? Definitely going to adopt my next bird from a rescue.
There's no particular story behind this one. I wanted to do some tattoo-like drawings.... something like sample designs. I was lacking ideas. I asked a friend and she gave me a few. That's one of them.... actually my favourite one of them. What can I say, I just adore ravens. No, I just adore all corvids. Also, the idea of a raven flying out of a rose. It's simple, but awesome. And while it's simple I wouldn't have thought of that myself. Thankfully, the people who want a tattoo usually have an idea and won't leave that part to me XD
What else should I say.... I gave quite attention to the detail, I tried to be precise with the feathers.... Because I love corvids. Did I mention that? Also, as much as I adore ravens, I absolutely hate roses XD Actually, it's not like I hate them.... I never had any strong feelings towards them. They don't fascinate me, and even though I generally love flowers, roses don't really have a special place for me among them. Yet over the years I've learned how painful drawing them can be. Frustrating. Maybe I finally managed to get it somewhat right. Maybe. I still don't really like them. But for all the pain they've given me, I changed the idea a bit and scattered the bloody rose unto its petals XD
