It's technically not completely finished, but I was starting to drive myself nuts with all the details so I decided to put an end to it and have that "in progress" sort of look to it.

Done with my wacom tablet on Photoshop Elements 3.0.

Another very quick work. Less than an hour or so. This man writes the most amazing songs. <3

I started this around 10 last night and um... well it's finished.

Great drummer? OR GREATEST DRUMMER??? You decide.

At the very least, definitely like no other drummer.

Photoshop Elements 3.0, wacom tablet.

A quick sketch type thing I did. Only about 2 hours worth of effort. This is what happens when I'm bored.

Mr. Townshend Sells Out ;-)

I'm actually quite proud of this and I'll tell you why. I got my dinky little 4x6 Wacom tablet about 3-4 years ago and I've never been able to properly draw anything with it. Anything I drew looked like absolute crap.

But somehow, tonight, I was actually able to produce something that is pretty darn close to my traditional artwork and you have no idea how ecstatic that makes me. Go me?

About 3 hours with the tablet on PS Elements 3. Also, I admit that I cheated with the Odorono bit, I didn't feel like trying to imitate it so I did a little cut and paste work. ;-)

I may do more with it in the future, idk.

I'm posting this a week early, but this piece was done in honor of Dave Davies' 67th birthday on February 3rd.

(See last year's birthday painting, which I am happy to say I was able to give to Mr. Davies in person last spring.)

This is my first color digital piece, done in Corel Painter Essentials 4 with my Wacom Bamboo tablet.

Reference used was a short-haired 1979 pic, but the curls were added at ~the artist's discretion~ :)

Why look, it's everyone's favourite bassist, Mr John "Big Dick" Entwistle. I was tempted to put this under scraps because this photograph really didn't capture the subtleties of my actual drawing (and my old scanner doesn't work with my new computer... something I only found out now because it's been so long since I have made any scannable art).

Ballpoint pen on copy paper.

Source photo: Page 2 of the liner notes for Rigor Mortis Sets In. I really couldn't have picked a grainier, contrastier photo to draw off. -_-
