Merry Christmas - FrUk familyAuthor's note: I know it seems like forever since I last wrote or posted anything. I'm sorry! D: Anyway, I had wanted to write a Christmas fic before the 25th and I wasn't sure I would be able to because everytime I opened Mircrosoft Word, I just kinda stared at it a few minutes, got no ideas, and closed it. But I was able to write a fic just now and it's adorably cute and sweet and you might get cavities after you read it. It's set in an alternate universe, where I like to see Arthur and Francis as Alfred and Matthew's adoptive fathers. One of the scenes, where Alfred hands out the gifts, is actually a kind of tradition in my family. I usually hand them out, or my little brother helps sometimes. It's fun c:Merry Christmas - FrUk family6 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This
Hope you enjoy and if I don't make a note before then, MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS! <3
Arthur can hear the sounds of little feet running down the hallway and smiles against the chest he is sleeping on. "The boys are up," he whispers.
Eyebrows - FrUkAuthor's note: I'm on a roll tonight 8D So I wrote another FrUk fic today about Iggy's eyebrows. I really wasn't sure what I wanted...but I knew I wanted it to be funny and involve France somehow. Hence this. The end is kinda meh, but I'll deal with it. It's just a little oneshot anyway. (And England's eyebrows totally have the magic curse that Harry Potter's hair does XD)Eyebrows - FrUk6 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This
He thought plucking his eyebrows would somehow make him more attractive, and lessen the stares he sometimes got when out in public. He didnt expect them to keep growing back no matter how much he plucked them.
England didnt understand why his eyebrows were so against him. Bloody gits, he grumbled as he looked in the mirror. Cant just leave me alone for one hour, can you?

Broken Down"Scheisse", a certain German cursed when his 'check engine' light started blinking at him. Glancing around, he found that it was just his luck that he happened to be in the middle of nowhere. Sighing, Ludwig flicked on his blinker, pulling over onto the arm of the road. It also just happened to be his luck that today had to be possibly the hottest day in the history of his country.Broken Down5 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
Stepping out of the vehicle, he heard a muffled groan from the back seat but ignored it. The car was more to his concern than his brother's waking. He remembered when the albino had crawled into the backseat and had refused to drive, saying that he was 'Too awesome for driving' or something along those lines, and that Ludwig, as the younger brother, would have to chauffeur him. Ludwig probably wouldn't have trusted Gilbert to drive anyway if he had wanted to.
Running a hand over his barely slicked back hair, Ludwig reached under the hood and released it, grabbing the hood prop and using it for what it
Wrapping ProblemsIt was getting close to bedtime as Sapphire finished up her modifications to her latest binding spell. The last few tests and tweaks had made for some promising results and it was hoped this would make it last longer with minimal user drain. With any luck, it would make controlling wild animal specimens easier.Wrapping Problems4 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
Of course, Sapphire didn't dare mentioned she'd be using her own take on the spell on herself and her boyfriend for their own pleasure.
With the last of the adjustments made, Sapphire quietly cast the spell. As she spoke, red wrappings materialized before her and began to wrap around her body, soon cocooning her. This time around, she found herself more fully cocooned, coated from head to toe with only her eyes and some small openings for her nose left open. It cost a little more magic power than she thought it would, but it was within acceptable amounts.
Pleased with this new change, Sapphire wriggled and squirmed in her new bindings, finding them to be as secure as they had be

Chapter Six: No Going Back
"Well, this is spectacularly boring!"
"What? It is! Why can't we have another competition?!"
"Because you almost got Yachiru killed!"
Rangiku let her head fall backwards and stared at the sky, "Oh please, she was fine!"
Toshiro sighed, there was no way of getting through to Rangiku when she had something planted in her mind, especially when she was already so bored. Everyone else was busying themselves with something or other while the sun was still beating down on them; Sui Feng and Isane had finally mastered the frisbee and were throwing it to one another with great precision and speed. Orihime, Renji, Rukia and Ichigo had somehow managed to persuade Byakuya to play volleyball and so they were all waist-deep in the sea attempting to bat an inflatable Spongebob Squarepants ball to each other. Yachiru had finally regained consciousness and had forced Kenpachi to build sandcastles with her and Shunsui, Nanao, Retsu and Jushiro had taken a walk to tr

My legs feel so weak...

I think I should lay down...
It's gathering day. The day where Patapolis stocks up its resources. And today, Bohrok and Rutina are assigned to do the first gathering. However...
"In the Field of Spores, specifically." Rutina said.
"What? You know that place is known for putting people into sleep, and Ton expects us to go there?"
Rutina examined the flyer Ton gave. "Well, that's what he said. Besides, I can whip up a Waking Potion for the two of us."
"But-" Bohrok protested.
"Relax, Bohrok, it'll be fine. We'll just go there, get some mushrooms, and get out of there. It'll be easy."
Bohrok is comforted.
The Field of Spores is a giant field overgrown with mushrooms of varying sizes, ranging from the size of a grain of rice to the size of a house. The mushrooms release so much spores in the air that it refracts the l

Even though I've been working through eight hour shifts for the past three days and feel exhausted, I just can't sleep. My mind is racing with thoughts about what I have put myself through, and most importantly what Marge has gone through. I keep thinking if I did the right thing by marrying her, I love her to death but I can't believe I went as far as to get her pregnant. I mean it's great that I will soon be a Dad, but will I be a good provider for him?
Working these eight hour shifts have been long and tedious, flipping burgers is not my idea of fun, and neither is sitting by the drive through waiting for some low life to show up and ask for a meal. They always want something special on that meal, extra mayo, no onions, can the hamburger have no meat in it, that of course it not possible, but I just humor them and give them a fake smile when they come up to the window. And I do it all for Marge.
I miss her so much right now, but I really don't deserve her, not a bum li

As the heroes carry the body to Patapolis, Taterazay growled,
"Now, why the hell are we doing this again?"
"Because we are ordered to." Yarida replied.
....2 Days later....
In the camp ground that the heroes set up 4 days ago, the stranger weakly got up and looked around.
"Looks like our stranger is awake" Yumiyacha said. Surprised, the stranger tried to take out his sword only to open up a severe wound causing blood to gush out from his chest and cause him to pass out again.
"Oh crap! get some herbs and bandages now!" Yumiyacha quickly said.
....2 Hours and one pissed off Taterazay later....
At Patapolis, the heroes came back with the unconscious body.
"Hey, your back! Looks like you guys did great, Meden would be happy, if only we could bring her back with the tree of life." Hatapon said
"Don't worry, her death will not be in vain, we'll make sure of it" Yarida said
During that time, the stranger woke up and tried to stand up only to get a sharp pain in his back.
Simpsons: Day at the BeachIt was a typical summer morning. The kids of Springfield had just gotten out of school a week ago, so now they were on summer break.Simpsons: Day at the Beach4 years ago in Humor More Like This
One family in particular, the Simpson family, was ready to celebrate another glorious day of vacation. Bart was going to Milhouse's to play video games and to watch Itchy and Scratchy, and Lisa was going over to her friend Janey's house to play with dolls. Homer was off work from the Nuclear Power Plant today, so he was just gonna stay home and watch as much TV and eat as much as he possibly could, then go to Moe's Tavern later on.
Those were the plans, until Marge said something at breakfast.
"Attention, everyone! May I have your attention, please?" Marge asked. Everyone ignored her until she said the same thing louder.
"Thank you," Marge said when everyone looked up at her. "Now, today's going to be a different day. It'll be a Father/Daughter and a Mother/Son Day."
"Aww!" Everyone else (except Maggie) whined. Everyone, even Homer and Maggie, knew that t

then dim and faint were they
as the water rose.
joined by the falling drops
from storm descending
down with a lifeless energy.
Upward came each splash,
and back down with a dying sound.
At random was the already spontaneous
of every moment in the life
of every last drop.
So blended now, in the ripples
with the ever uneasy waters.
Like the flickering lights,
did their time become dim and faint.

"I hate hospitals."
"They're always trying to hide."
"What do you mean by 'hide'?"
"You smell that?"
"Yea. Smells clean."
"I hate that smell."
"It's too clean. It's like they're trying to hide the fact that people die here."
"Well that's morbid..."
"It's the truth."
"Would you rather it smell like germs and corpses?"
"No. But that's not the point."
"What is your point?"
"It's all just too... pleasant."
"Well yea. Hospitals are meant to help people. They're supposed to be pleasant."
"...You've never had a love one die, have you?"
"No one should have to sit and watch the world spin on as if the person they love never existed."

Somewhere...in the ocean
There is a whirlpool...that is...frozen
I no longer had anything keeping me bound to this world
You were my love, you were my chain, and my heart was a link
And I couldn't bear the thought of never seeing your face anymore
So my knees gave, as I let my thoughts break, and I forced myself to sink
Somewhere...in the darkness
There is a soul...which became faithless
All those memories down the drain
I feel the bitterness of hope
While my tears rain
I cannot cope
Somewhere...in the depths
There is a spark...cradled by emptiness
My pain will always remain in time
As I never wanted to let you go
But I still got left behind
Only to dwell in remorse
Somewhere...along the path
Came a point...where I couldn't stand
I knew there would be no moving on
And there would be no going back
Because I can't stand the thought
Of potentially losing any of that
Somewhere...in my mind
There is a time...when I loved my

Riding down country roads
to local farms on a Saturday
with my granddad
to see equipment auctions
as the old boys cashed in
Standing there in bib overalls or Dickies
with their dark glasses on
smoking pipes and cigars
they'd talk politics or crops
their deep voices rumbling quietly
I was enthralled...listening to the auctioneer
rattle off prices at breakneck speed
for a Farmall tractor going once
Sold to the man in front...
Or grandpa would take me with him
to the local VFW Post 6464
on Thursday evenings
to play Euchre with his friends
I'd bring along a few dog-eared
Reader's Digest magazines to read
as they played
Every so often I would walk over and
say hi, see how grandpa was faring
Usually he was cleaning house
winning almost every hand he played in
The ladies would bring a cake
and we'd have that with coffee
It felt...comfortable in a way
I find hard to explain
Sitting there surrounded by veterans
men who still wore those black-rimmed glasses
and their hair was

I can hear the music,
playing in my head...
That brick wall melody,
that leaves me dry and bled.
Back out, unsound, way past
The naive embrace,
clutched like the withering vine,
so doubted in commonplace.
That sorrowful harmony,
with mysterious limbs
running like mad
through my mind, so dim with fog.
In my wake do I hear that music
of the morbid and downtrodden sound...
Sweet, the symphony of my imagination...
the chaos, although so profound.
Stained, my face with the misery
Of this occupation of thought,
not much, yet the burdens are stiff
within the acidic net, am I forever caught.
