Chapter One: Sparkling Invitations
Luna was depressed. Her narrow frame curled upon silken sheets, defiant yet disconcerted. She had not slept a wink since the opening of the letter. Azure Nocturne and Brazen Heart remained at her door as requested, but when she would not eat as usual, her sister was summoned.
Brazen Heart's short reddish tail bobbed as he trotted anxiously through the halls to the Princess' chambers. Two ponies stood outside her door, one light tan colt with burgundy mane, the second a light blue colt with a bubbly deep navy mane. He wanted to know why they were here, but...
"...Widget Dreamer's new apple slicer? Oh I made the most wonderful apple pie with it!" chimed the former, who Blaze remembered was Lucent Acumen. He wore copper rimmed round lensed glasses. Another of Dreamer's designs, no doubt. The two were close friends. The other was Frazzle Spark, a scholar under the tutelage of Fire Wire the Grand.
"Uh, what'd you do with all the cores," asked
Ebil Witch Lady's Halloween PartyIt was that time of the year again when the leaves start to change color and the cold winter breezes slowly come in. The month of October seemed to pass by quickly as people got ready for the biggest night of the month: Halloween. Parents prepped their kids and made sure they were dressed up in the costumes of various characters; those young enough to not know better were accompanied by their parents as they took them out into the slightly breezy night.Ebil Witch Lady's Halloween Party1 year ago in Short Stories More Like This
This was the perfect time of the year for the infamous trickster, known by few as the Ebil Witch Lady. She loved Halloween just as much as all the children do, though she wasn’t in it for the candy. Halloween was a special time where she could use her magical abilities to cause mischief on all kinds of people. One might think she’s a monster for what she does, but nobody ever remembers who they once were when she’s finished. Of course, she had one condition that she followed to a tee: all of the adorable children were
Legend of Spyper After many long and fruitless years of research, experimentation, and failure, Medic's gene-splicing experiment was on the verge of being abandoned. Then one fateful night when Medic had collapsed from exhaustion, who better to wander into the laboratory than Intelligent Heavy? With pot on head, he observed the scene before him; the Medic sleeping soundly at his desk, the stacks of research strewn about, and what's this? A large glass cylinder filled with a glowing green goo? Intelligent Heavy stomped over to the clylinder and tapped on the glass; he could just barely make out the silhouette of an unrecognisable figure floating about. Attached to the cylinder was a funnel-type device, used to insert objects and mixtures into the glass cylinder. Needless to say Intelligent Heavy was preplexed; he had never seen such a thing before. What was Medic up to? As the Medic quietly stirred, an idea had struck Intelligent Heavy; he would help the doctor! A Halloween TF story
Angela Myers sat on the couch watching the small TV screen with a bowl of candy next to the table. She could hear the shouts of little children in the neighborhood, announcing their presence at someone's front door. She looked to the bowl before her and was glad she was well stocked, but frankly she was bored with the night. It was Halloween night, but for her the magic of Halloween has already vanished long ago.
The phone then rang and she reached for it next to the couch, twirling a curl in her dark brown hair. "Myers Residence." She said.
"Angie?" A voice asked. Angela then leaned back against the couch. "Oh hey Pam. What's up?"
"Not much, I'm just wondering what you're doing tonight, that's all." Pamela replied.
"Oh I'm just stuck at home handing candy out. What are you doing?" Angie answered, getting up and turning the TV off. She already saw the movie before anyway.
"Oh? I was just going to take my little brother Billy and

Apex clouds converged around the azure mountain of ice. The polar ocean rumbled, somewhere beneath, grappling into the iceberg, gnawing away at its foundations.
Grim, fluttering celestial arc released a blinding sphere of light has from the cloudy grasp. Scorching beams of sunlight smashed into the iceberg with relentless fury and the iceberg screeched in fear of their attack as glittering veins of cobalt and silver pulsated upon its surface. The temperature was rising, as the iceberg drifted south, pushed forward by the slashing wind. The iceberg fought against the warm currents till its last breath, but all was hopeless. An unyielding crack started to crawl across its surface, explosions of cold mist whooshing as the iceberg crumbled, expiring away; connecting with the clouds and the ocean.

'Where am I?' Rachel thought as she slowly came back into consciousness. The last thing she remembered was Gar lying on her living room floor.
"I see you are awake, my daughter." Rachel tried to move but her hands were bound behind her back.
"What do want from me?"
"To catch up. I never got any replies from the letters I sent you."
"Maybe I didn't want to reply." She said coldly. She strained her hands trying to break free.
"You have grown to be such a beautiful young woman." He lifted her chin so she looked at him.
"Don't touch me. Not with those murdering hands." She jerked away.

Oh dear god.
It smelled like someone had bought a cow, killed it, left it to rot for three weeks, shoved it into a dead buffalo, then left it to rot for another three weeks before dumping it in Heavy's room.
The 'dead buffalo' the smell was coming from was the pale Heavy on the bed, hidden away under the covers, a river of green goo running from his nose, red rimmed eyes, and a bed sheet in one hand for use as a hanky.
A loud rumble came from the Heavy, and the edge of his covers flapped, releasing more of the 'dead animal' gas.
Scout gagged and pinched his nose. No way Heavy had his pet, he couldn't even move let alone smash a tank and steal the baby.
"Told you to stay away, little man." he rumbled, before coughing into the spare bed sheet. "Doctor say I have flu. Very " he waved the hanky, snot running down it as he searched for the word, "catchy. You should go. Need to rest now."

He could also feel the waves of an ocean washing against his side. The salt in the water met some of the cuts in his side. Introduced to the wounds, the salt gave his body an unpleasant sting, and as he regained consciousness, he gave a sharp inhale of pain. Breathing wasn't right. There was something in his lungs. It felt like some of the salt was in his lungs...as if he'd fallen into this ocean perhaps. He was soaking wet. He could feel it. Breathing hurt. The salt coated his lungs in places, and he felt as if there was a small amount of liquid just introduced to them. Feeling this, he rolled to his side and coughed sharply as his body tried to get rid of the liquid now in his lungs.

A black haze hung over the base, thick rainclouds hiding the sunlight and pouring a heavy rain down on the land below it. The water furiously tapped the roof and windows. It pooled in large puddles on the dirt and filled the sewers, sending through each base the odour of sewage and rainwater. Storms happened on occasion on the war grounds, some worse than others. This was the worst storm that had been seen in a long while. The thunder shook the floors and windows, the lights flickered, and the roof creaked. All missions had been cancelled due to the nature of this storm, so both teams, RED and BLU, had a day to themselves for the first time in what seemed like forever. Despite this, both teams dreaded the aftermath of rain, knowing that when the storm finally cleared up, they would be battling in mud and puddles.
