Summary: Everyone's nightmare is to wake up in a cold, dark place without a clue where one is. Sadly, that's what's happened to us. What's even better, we have monsters and weird encounters to endure as well. And then there's them
Lucky, right? If I ever get out of here, I will need some therapy sessions.
Stepping in front of the door of their current home, Azimuth let a low sigh. Ratchet and Zane probably weren't done with their session yet, but as things stood he would simply stay out of their way and perhaps visit Lawrence later on. He raised his hand and let it be scanned so that he could step in.

Sherlock's voice was slightly strangled as he clutched his side and stumbled backwards into a wall. John whipped around, slammed his revolver back into its holster and ran to Sherlock's aid.
"What's wrong? What happened?" John questioned in his steady doctor's voice.
"It's just a scratch. It's fine. But we need to go home," Sherlock stammered back. His face was pale and contorted with pain. He moved his long coat more securely over his torso and made to walk out of the alley. Strong, steady arms caught him as he stumbled and nearly fell.
"Move your hands, Sherlock," John said forcefully as he maneuvered the taller man into a sitting position against the wall. He pulled back the coat to reveal a dark circle of blood spreading from beneath Sherlock's shirt. The doctor in him analyzed the wound quickly. Sherlock was losing blood quickly. It didn't look like a very big gash, but it was deceptively deep. There had to be some sort of internal damage, he realized. John whipped out his

I lay down to rest.
The fire crackles in the gloom.
Nothing, not a sound.
I have traveled far.
The kingdom is dangerous.
Travel means danger.
A misstep means death.
If I am not careful, I could
very well be robbed.
I hear a noise... close.
The sound of footsteps behind
My closed, sleeping eyes.
He has been watching,
Waiting for me to retire
And take his pleasure
With me. I am not
As stupid as he thinks I
Am. Watch and you'll see.
I cringe when he says,
"I know you are not asleep.
You can open your eyes."
I sit up, groggy.
I make out a familiar
Face. Ah. I thought so.
"What are you doing
Here?" I ask. "It is rude to
Wake a sleeping girl."
"I could ask the same
Of you." he replies, his eyes
In the fire's glow.
"I came to find you." I say,
Gathering my cloak
Around me. "I have
A proposition for you.
You won't refuse it."
"You always knew what
Would make me listen," he says.
"What do you want, child?"

Walking into a pitch- black room, without being able to even see my hand in front of my face, I toy with a button on my shirt, fear rushing through me. There's no light, no way I can tell where I am. With only the echo of my shoes slapping the ground, I am forced to believe there is no way out of this gloomy place, no matter how long I walk.
Suddenly, a glimmer catches my eye up ahead, and I stare back in disbelief, thinking my eyes are playing a cruel trick on me. Yet as I look closer, the worry of finding the way out is like a weight lifted off my shoulders; the light shines again, stronger this time, and as the realization that I found a way out overwhelms me, I run full sprint. With the echoes of my shoes filling the vast space, I begin to notice that the glow isn't sunlight, but is in fact a small flame that grows with every step closer.
By the time I reach the fire, it is blazing to an unbelievable height of twenty feet. The warmth and look of it welcomes me closer, yet

She sits alone, over there in the dark corner.
The walls painted black, the floor covered in blood.
Tears running down her cheek, her hair covers the deep wounds.
She aims the knife against her throat; "the one deeply wounded
shall not continue his journey in pain, but rather live forever in paradise".

Trees Aren't BrownThe greatest thing anyone ever taught meTrees Aren't Brown2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Was how to see.
No, I am not blind
But somewhere in my head I was still living by childhood definitions
A tree was brown to me
You might think a tree still is brown
But look out your window
Assuming you can see a tree
Is the tree brown?
Is the bark even brown?
Does the bark have green in it?
How about Tan? Orange? Gray? Black?
And aren't leaves a part of a tree?
Are the leaves brown? Green? Orange? Red?
Is a tree brown?
What I had to lean on my own was I am the one seeing
Not you, not everyone, me.
Me myself and I.
You and I can lie in the grass and look up
I see a gray sky with shadows that take the form of bunnies
You could see a navy sky with cotton candy clouds.
I learned how to see
I hope you can too

So many caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaats.
You tapped your foot in frustration. How could such a small room hold so many cats?
Which cat...... How could something so simple be so difficult? Did that even make sense?
You remembered a slight problem. Your son.
Geez, you didn't want to bring home a cat that would scratch or bite him.
"Um are there any cats that don't mind kids?" You scratched the back of your head, surveying the assortment before you.
Elizabeta nodded, "We have Berwald and Tino." She pointed at a chair. On it sat two cats, a small beige one and a rather intimidating looking, big gray-blue cat. "Tino is a really sweetheart. He loves people, especially little kids. Berwald doesn't really interact that much with people, but he can be really affectionate when he wants."
You stared at both cats. Berwald glared back. Geez.
"Um could I have Tino?" The smaller cat defiantly looked kid friendly. Elizabeta nodded and re

The life as a slave isn't happy, especially if you're slaved by Vampyrums. If you simply make one mistake, even simply be late of one second, they just kill you and eat you but the worse was that ALL slaves have to reveal the location of his colony, and if marina didn't after one week, she would be tortured to death.
But at the moment she was just serving he king of the Vampyrums: Goth. But one day she met another bat, a Brightwing, maybe a bit younger than her:
"Hey! You're a Brightwing!
-*a guard shouts*SILENCE, SLAVE!!!
-*the other brightwing whispers* yes I am. And?
-*whispers* What's your name?
-Natasha. What's yours?

-Yes but I loose it."

"I'm sorry Griffin, only Shinook and I accepted to join your expedition. The others just thought that it was a dream or are simply scared to go.

Deadwing chapter 1Shade is there, but not there. Living in a dead empty dimension. He sees you but you don't see him. It's a quite difficult situation to describe. But if one thing can be described, it's his feelings: He is desperated. Her mate, Marina Brightwing, and his son, Griffin Silverwing/Brightwing, can't see him; but he can see them, hear them talking of him like if he wasn't there. Oh how he misses the feeling of the fur of Marina against his, oh how he misses hunting with his son. But he can't change it now:he is dead. Him, the hero of Nocturna's promise, savior of his colony. But every mortal is meant to die one day. The true reason of our existence is to push that day back as far as possible. But he didn't push it far enought, and sadly this day came, bringing with him sadness and despair, living by now as a ghost...Deadwing chapter 12 years ago in Profiles More Like This
