Deadline: October 26th
We hope you all have enjoyed the teasers, for we have enjoyed your front-page feedback. There has been much enthusiasm and excitement, and while we are thrilled to be announcing the match ups, we are also very sad to see so many people be let go. We were not expecting such a high turnout. W

Some new foes, some new friends.
One round now down,
And the next begins.
By luck we have those winners
Never bloodshed, never sinners
Who will find this time
It harder to win.
And others stand here now
With red hands and bruised brow.
Those who kill, those who still
Shoulder their fears.
And if by chance you manage
By some sort of strange advantage
To make it by with hands dry
Of blood and tears
Takers will I make you yet
For to fill your lodger's debt
From their hands, you understand
Something we will steal.
Be it a hair upon their head,
A vital organ- without dead-
A dream, a thought, an item brought
That taken, makes them squeal.
Come to me, once they're defeated
And speak to me the item needed
And from them, as again
I will make it mine.
Then you'll advance another round
One step towards your lost and found
So as before, and ever more,
Your fates must intertwine.

Rude and an art leech - IMPORTANTEXTREMELY IMPORTANT: :iconthedarkknite: Sir-Knite is now faving art so that he can then try to get artists to draw for an "art project" (aka free art of his OCs) when they thank him for the favorites. DO NOT BE FOOLED. DO NOT LET PEOPLE GO UNAWARE. DO NOT DRAW ANYTHING FOR HIM. HE IS SCAMMING PEOPLE INTO DOING WORK FOR HIM AND THEN TREATING THEM LIKE GARBAGE. Tell others. No artist deserves to be abused the way this awful little child is doing.Rude and an art leech - IMPORTANT1 year ago in Personal More Like This
So. This is my first journal on DA. And I'm sad that it has to be about this particular topic, but I wouldn't even be writing journal entries if this hadn't motivated me to speak up about it.
DA user "Sir-Knite" apparently ran a contest or something to get fanart of his characters. He then posted a couple journal entries calling all of the art he received "shit", and complaining about how he hates when he gets fanart and it all sucks.
Personally, I would be flattered to receive fanart of my characters. That's an indication
[RP RANT] Don't so readily give your heart**Thanks everyone for all your comments! Sorry I am slow to reply to them, but I just want to be sure I can reply properly ; A ;**[RP RANT] Don't so readily give your heart2 years ago in Personal More Like This
Alright, there's been something that really, really bothers me about shipping and RP groups. And I absolutely hate how for the life of me I can never gather and organize my thoughts in a proper manner without just seeing red half the time.
So this is probably going to come off more like a rant than anything, but I'll try to get my point across, and maybe get some advice or something to cool my jets.
First off, I've done some things in my RP group experiences that I regret, so as I fly off the handle and word vomit all over my journal, I admit that I am far from perfect. But anyways, I think one of the most important things a person can do before pursuing or getting attached to a "ship" is to be honest. Honesty is so fucking important I cannot even stress this.
Sure, you might not want to be the "bad guy" and crush someone's dreams but it's a hell of a lot b

I have for you-now don't complain-
A gift from me, a humble key
That unlocks no humble door.
Eight keys I give, one to each.
The end's in sight, so close to reach.
Two keys per lock, and here's the shock:
A theme for you, I have in store.
Turn the handle and you will find
A sight of very strange design,
A tundra cold, or age of old-
Any setting that I could take.
Two may enter, but one will win
Turn the key and lock them in
To set them free, or let them be
Is up to you, so do debate.
You lucky eight, you chosen section
Shall get to see a Thief's collection
This rare chance to steal a glance
Of the wonders I have stole.
So do not dally or delay
It's time to fight, it's time to play.
Eight keys to four, choose your door
And pray you make it back as whole.

Back from bargains, back from brawls
All that paid may now stay
And as a gesture, I'll reward.
You'll find in hand a seating chart
Your name assigned a certain spot
For tonight I will prepare a sight-
The best a Thief can afford
A banquet sprawl, for your consumption,
And before you start your trite assumptions
Be aware, no ill-will bared,
For as they say, third time's the charm.
Dress yourself in finest guise
If not prepared, I shall provide;
Shirts and strings, and frilly things
For tonight, we mean no harm.
A dinner feast will you find
If seated at the proper time
Converse and talk, don't mind the clock
For not a soul shall be scratched.
Let tonight be one of laughter
And let the fighting be long after
For there's no fret, nor regret
And no strings attached.

May your stay within my walls
Be as enjoyable and deplorable
As need be.
Now I stake for you these rules
So simply made that any fool
Could abide when applied
Half of you shall stay within
These confiding walls akin
To prison cells or turtle shells
Until your rival submits.
The other half shall outside strain
Against their rivals will and brain
Until but one is left undone
And the other calls it quits.
Once your battle, game, or quest
Has proven who is fit and best
From the list I will omit
The loser's name.
Then they shall be sent packing
Of their object yet still lacking
But lost is found, and up is down
In this spiraling game.
Once the winner walks
They'll find the door unlocks
And free shall see
So let us cease the endless chatter
And set to start on what most matters
The time is prime
The round begins.
How Creators Sabotage Their Own Comics-A run down of why most comics end up dead after just a few pages. How Creators Sabotage Their Own Comics6 months ago in Personal More Like This
Hyping It Up Before It Exists
A lot of people will put up promotional artwork, covers, character references, and other related work for their comic before putting up a single page. People often say if you want to write a book or you want to lose weight, it's best that you not tell anyone. When you tell someone you plan on doing something, they will praise you for it. The problem is, you are now receiving praise for something you haven't actually done yet. You don't have to work for that praise; the mere act of saying you will do something rewards you the same external way you would get for actually doing it. Sadly the result is many people are content to stop there. It's not even a conscious decision, but a lot of people will get caught up in the hype without realizing how hard making a comic actually is. Hold off putting up anything related to your comic until you at least have a few pages up; it wil
