[link]Frogs are such curious creatures and have always been magickal for me. In many cultures they are thought to bring good luck and healing. Being both master of land and water, they are able to traverse between worlds.
The Frog Prince was kind enough to give us a glimpse of his majesty. He kneels softly, lowering his sword in honor of those who stand before him. His hand outstretched, offering a treasure... his treasure means something different to every heart it touches.
The story of The Frog Prince can be interpreted in many ways. I have always been quite fond of this fairy tale. With this sculpture, I attempted to capture the wonder and emotion of the prince in all his glory.
I truly love this sculpture and it will be hard for me to let him go but I know there is a princess out there somewhere waiting for her prince ♥
This enchanting Frog Prince is the only one of his kind in the world. He was sculpted entirely by hand with ProSculpt polymer clay over a strong wire armature. His armature runs clear through his individual fingers.
His skin has been hand painted with acrylic paints. His elegant outfit and cape have all been carefully hand sewn. They include many crystal drops and swarovski crystals.
His crown was sculpted with polymer clay and painted with acrylic paints. He has shiny blue eyes. In his right hand he holds a decorated, golden sphere and in his left a miniature metal 6 inch sword.
His colorful wings are hand painted and created by the artist. The permanant base he stands upon is made of pine wood and hand painted with a one of a kind design.
From his base to the top of his right hand he is 8 inches high. The base measures 11 inches long.

Los sapos son creaturas muy curiosas y siempre han sido magicos para mi. En muchas culturas se cree que los sapos traen buena suerte, salud o curacion. siendo mastros adaptandose en el agua y en la tierra, son capaces de viajar entre mundos.
El sapo principe fue suficiente para mostrarnos un vistazo de su majestuosidad. el se arrodilla suavemente, bajando su espada en honor a aquellos que estan de pie frente a el. su mano ofreciendo un tesoro, el cual tiene un significado diferente para cada corazon que toca.
La historia del principe sapo puede ser interpretada de muchas maneras. Yo siempre estuve facinada con este cuento de hadas. Con esta escultura, quise capturar la maravilla y la emocion del principe en toda su gloria.
Yo amo esta escultura y va ser duro dejarlo ir, pero se que alli afuera lo espera su princesa ♥
Este encantador Principe sapo es el unico en el mundo. Fue esculpido enteramente a mano con arcilla sintetica Prosculpt sobre un fuerte esqueleto de alambre que corre individualmente por cada extremidad y dedos.
La piel a sido pintada a mano con pinturas acrilicas. Su elegante atuendo y capa han sido cosidos cuidadosamente a mano, incluye muchos goticas de cristal y cristales swarovski.
Su corona a sido esculpida con arcilla sintetica Prosculpt y pintada a mano con pinturas acrilicas. el tiene unos brillantes ojos azules , en su mano derecha tiene una esfera dorada decorada a mano, en su mano izquierda descansa una espada de metal miniatura que mide 6 pulgadas.
Las alas fueron creadas y pintadas a mano por el artista, La base permanente en que el principe se posa es madera de pino, la cual a sido pintada a mano por el artista con un diseno unico en su clase.
De su base hasta la pinta de su mano derecha mide 8 pulgadas de alto. La base mide 11 pulgadas de largo.
He was a lot of fun to do, I took extra care to study real skunk paws when sculpting his (ty friend with skunks!) He is completely hand made from wire armature to sculpture, painting, glossing, plushing, sewing. No molds or casts used. He is about 18 inches long and oves to chase the cats around the house while he waits for his forever home!
