Candy Canes"Doctor, you can't eat all of the candy canes," Rose scolded, pulling the box away from him. "And I don't want to see them disappearing from the tree later."Candy Canes3 years ago in Romance More Like This
"In 900 years of time and space, I've never eaten a candy cane. Did you know that?" He handed her the untangled lights.
"What about Christmas at my mum's flat the year after we met?" Rose pointed out. She ducked under the wire and continued wrapping the lights around the tree.
"Not even then." He stopped her, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her close.
Rose giggled. "Your breath smells like peppermint."
"Do I taste like it too?" He leaned down for a kiss.
"Mmm, you do." She smiled. "I'll buy you your own box of candy canes for Christmas, alright?"
"Do I have to share?"
"Not if you don't want to. But come on, let's get this tree decorated or I promise you I will not buy you those candy canes." She kissed him again and ducked away.
The Doctor gave her peppermint body wash for Christmas, which he told her later did not make h

Prologue: Twilight's Pardon
Azure Nocturne was no stranger to the graveyard shift. In fact she preferred it to the daily irritations of Brazen Heart's constant nagging and chatter. She was a dark, reddish-hued alicorn with a silver-white mane and tail of fine hair and flowing, glossy length. Unlike the average buff grunt in Luna's employ, she had an air of grace uncommon to her station. Her hidden passion was the clarinet, but by the Royal Twins she was favored for her musical talents. Indeed her cutie mark was that of shimmering notes, indicating that her power revolved around the manipulation of sound.
The Palace at night was boring, prime for reflection upon her favorite melodies. In six years since her promotion to palace guard, not a soul had been disturbed. Sleepwalkers and lost foals were a kind exception, and Azure was fond of them all. Criminals were a virtual unknown in Canterlot.

Megamind whined as he sat in the back of the ambulance while a paramedic slipped a mask over his mouth and nose. Metro Man never got babied like this; it was downright insulting! He'd just saved the day! Where was the cheering crowd? Yes, he had been swarmed by photographers and reporters, but no cheering crowd had been a bit disappointing.
"Breathe in..." the paramedic said, "and breathe out..."
"Oh good, I probably could forget how to breathe!" Megamind complained, but did as she instructed, glad that the crowd had dispersed by now. He had begun to cough, only a little, once the excitement was over with. Fearing that he might have inhaled some of Psycho Delic's smoke, he had been pulled away while the police worked out the rest of the mess. It seemed the money Psycho Delic had stolen from the other banks was nowhere to be found, and they wanted to question Megamind i
Still Not GingerThe Doctor had decided to dye his hair.Still Not Ginger3 years ago in Humor More Like This
“Well, Rose, not going to be regenerating anymore,” he said cheerfully. “And that means I’ve got to find another way to be ginger.”
“Yes, but…you’re going to dye it?” she asked. “I like your hair, you know. It’s nice. Suits you.”
“But I want to be ginger!” he’d whined, and it wasn’t like it was her hair to control, so she’d sighed and agreed to buy him some hair dye. Once he had the packet, he’d frowned, proclaimed it to be “not ginger enough,” and proceeded to add some sort of strange alien chemical to it. Rose had her doubts about changing the composition of the stuff, but he’d insisted that it would be fine, and he was the Doctor, after all.
“Are you sure you know what you’re doing?” she asked him, arms folded as he shooed her out of the bathroom.

The first part was written over a year ago, just showing Bluebeacon, I could write a Doctor Who OC since I can't write on the fly with forum RPGs based with the series. Whether I continue to write this Doctor Who OC guy I guess depends if people are interested in reading more with him in it. The divider of dashes in this shows where part one from over a year ago ends and part two begins.
When you look around you what amazes you? That the sky is orange, and that the grass is red? We take this for granted but it amazes others. Those from other planets, ones we didn't even know existed until a few hundred years ago. To those living on other worlds our planet is strange and even a bit astonishing. But we take it all as common fact. That wouldn't have been the case of my kind accepting the idea of alien worlds long ago, but we're used to it now. Now nothing seems amazing, or strange or out of the ordinary. Even the rip in space time that has had it's home he

Once upon a time, there lived a wealthy merchant; he had a marvellous house, garden and animals. Along with these wonderful possessions, the merchant had a very lovely wife and an extremely beautiful daughter. This daughter had skin as smooth and white as marble, long strawberry blond hair as wavy as the waves on the sea and small, delicate feet. However these features were nothing compared to her blue eyes and kind nature. The merchant however was having an affair with a widow. Soon he began to feel hatred towards his most kindly wife and everything to do with her.
One day the merchant took his wife on a journey. On the way home his wife died in unknown circumstances. The merchant quickly buried his wife in the garden when he came home. The maiden would wake up before the cock crowed and weep at the grave of her mother.
The merchant then married his mistress, who already had two children, named Carolina and Aurelia, both of whom were of similar age to the merchant's daughter. Though t

One-shot. Labyrinth - Jareth/Sarah.
Her skin prickled, like the pinch of a thousand tiny leeches. The cold latched on, feeding on her warmth, burying deep into the marrow of her bones to wait for spring. Trees cracked under the weight of snowfall, the loud snap splintering her nerves. Sarah tugged irritably at the collar of her coat, pulling it snug around her neck, and then tripped over a fallen branch.
Cursing under her breath, she took a step forward only to realize she was caught; ligneous claws, dead and rawboned, grasped at the laces of her sneaker. She wanted to take it as some kind of divine sign she should stop right now, go home and forget about this whole thing. She looked up, spotting her brother weaving through the trees in a flash of teal ahead of her, "MARLEAU" stretching across his shoulders in large block letters; she sighed.
Bending down, she freed the branch and tossed it aside. She called out as she scrambled to catch

"Is that anything like my box?" the Doctor asked. He used his thumb to point over his shoulder toward a blue old-style British police box that was sitting in the yard.

Instead his yellow eyes glared deadly at her sending a powerful shiver down her spine. "You will get what is coming to you, just wait. The time will come when you truly see your end." Several other dark figures with hooded cloaks circled around her all with the same gleaming yellow eyes. She tried pulling at the chains that held her tight against the damp rotting wall but she didn't budge an inch. The main one reached under his cloak and pulled out what looked between a dagger and a dart. The woman's eyes grew wide as she knew what was about to come. Their power, insurmountable, came to naught against the might of one young Changeling's will. While unnamed, thousands rallied to her side, dark of coat and smouldering of eye. Sheltered in the influence of her hatred of all light and good, Chrysalis found her voice and the aid of a young colt who had fallen in love with her.
Drawing incomparable strength from his devotion, she lead her people to victory on the shores of Gaitswain Lake. An early Equestrian settlement unprepared for a literal swarm of green winged Changelings. Yet, Chrysalis was hesitant to rely on force as her sole means of victory.

It is about 11:27 am, when you are thinking about going for a walk in the forest. Your mom is working late again, this time on a Saturday, but you don't really mind anymore since she has been doing that quite often these few days. You walk down the sidewalk in your own thoughts and looks up at the sunny sky, with a hand shadowing for the sharp sunlight. It is a beautiful day, maybe around the 25 degrees celsius - perfect weather for a walk in the forest. You smile when you reach the forest, and feel the dried branches snap and leafs crunch under your feet. The sun is trying to reach the forest floor, but can't because of the big treetops. Birds of all kinds sing happily, as they fly around with their mates.
You walk for a while, sometimes you see a deer or a rabbit and you just stop, looking at the beautiful nature before you. The forest always makes you relax, that's why you walk around here as many times you can. You don't even care about the weather; you just bring an umbrella if it

Old shoes, walked too far, with such a long way to go
My stomach is sick, and still I persist
As if some pagan god will save me
From a world like this
And what can I say?
You don’t understand
No matter what I had planned
My life turns out this way
My only light in this wicked world
And you don’t seem to see
I’m no longer a little girl
And I can’t be who you want me to be
Under stars that are bleak
In a sky that is dark
I am too tired, too weak,
To bend to your heart
Perhaps if I beg, perhaps if I plead
Under a sun that is cold, and clouds that are grey
You’ll wake up one morning and be
As happy as if I hadn’t turned out this way
