Nurse Joy's Chansey that I made and gave to my brother. I had to use nail polish to paint some pieces because I did not have dark pink paper.

I must find better beads for the eyes; she's a bit scary. xD

It is one of the cutest pokémon to me. I did not have any colour felt-tip pen so I used paper for the eyes (several layers of coloured paper).
There is glue only in the eyes. I used smaller triangles of paper for Chikorita's buds.
It is a simplistic one because I didn't wanted to do a big one. ^^

I'm dedicating this one to :iconthelittlelight: who makes great pokemon figurines and who also made my avatar. I know he likes this pokémon very much. xD

Chikorita is Nintendo's character.

Modular origami is a paper craft where individual sheets of paper are folded into identical shapes and fitted together to create a larger shape.

I had lot of pink paper and I wanted to do a pokémon but not the usual pink pokémons, like Jigglypuff or Clefairy...
Flaaffy is probably one of my favorite pink pokémons. :D

Modular origami is a paper craft where individual sheets of paper are folded into identical shapes and fitted together to create a larger shape. No glue was needed here to fit the pieces together.

I have finally created my very own Pikachu out of origami. Hurray!
Hope you like it! ^^

I was a little bored... :D

I used smaller pieces for the legs and the arms. There is no glue at all.

He is ready to play a trick on them all!

It is one of my favorite pokémons, I would love to have one IRL! I really think it's a cute pokémon.
This is my entry for :iconwelovepokemon: 's contest.

Edit: I couldn't do the face in origami because of Gengar's size and because of the fact that I had to paint the pieces one by one (I couldn't find purple paper).
It took almost 4 hours for the foldings, 4 hours for fitting the pieces together and 2 hours for the painting.

Gengar is Nintendo's character.

Modular (3D) origami is a paper craft where individual sheets of paper are folded into identical shapes and fitted together to create a larger shape.

I had some pink pieces made of paper that is just crap! I only had a few pieces but I tried to do something with it anyway. So it became a chibified Kirby (though Kirby is already chibi). xD
I should have added an extra row but thank god I have no other sheets of paper like this. :D

Kirby is one of my favorite fighters in Super Smash Bros.

For #LeftHandedArtists’s 2012 Opposites Contest [link]
Yes, I am a member of the left-handed artists community even if the fact that I am left-handed has probably no influence on my works (or perhaps I can fold faster with my left hand :D).
So the theme is “opposites”. At first, I wanted to do two dragons fighting each other, but on second thought I said to myself “Do I really have to do two creatures?” (No, it’s not because I was too lazy…) As it is said in the journal “There are two sides to every coin: good and evil, day and night, law and chaos, left and right.” So I think that opposites can be reunited in one and only creature. It is the case of gender for example, we tend to oppose femininity to masculinity but we all have some attributes of masculinity and femininity despite our anatomy… Hmm, all that to say that the theme made me think of a lot of things. :D
I did a work some times ago that could have been submitted to this contest. My two swans of fire and ice. [link]
That is why I have decided to do another creature this time.
So here is my little dragon, you can think that one half is fire the other is ice, one is male the other is female, one is evil the other is good or you can simply think that one is made with hot colors and the other with cold colors… (that’s a prosaic interpretation but it does not really matter).

I wanted to do them for so long! I was a little bored... so here they are! :D
There are not perfect but I am too lazy to modify them. ><

My favorite birds in the game are the yellow one and the black one. But the red one is the cutest to me.. :happybounce:
