I feel so fing nostalgic right now EDIT: I've entered this one in the Draw This Again contest, just for the hell of it. I've found this old drawing from around 2003, and I decided to redraw it, but only with Cartoon network Characters this time, because cartoons on CN had a bit more influence than the other cartoons airing at that time. Most of my favourite cartoons are from the 90's and from the early 00's and are shown on both drawings.
I'm really happy with the result, even though I haven't drawn some characters for ages and I've never drawn some of them, like Billy and Numbuh 3.
Still wondering why I wrote "greetings From Lennart, Dexter, DeeDee, The Powerpuff Girls, Timmy Turner, Samurai Jack, Spongebob & Patrick, Mickey mouse and Johnny Bravo". I guess it was some kind of present to my parents, but they aren't sure either. Who knows what I was thinking about?
The funny thing I've discovered is that my hand writing didn't change at all, especially the capital letters!
This is my entry for the Resident Evil Afterlife contest. I sculpted and built a diorama of The Executioner bursting through a door chasing down his unfortunate victim(s). The entire piece stands 11 inches tall. The Executioner himself stands 7 inches tall. I created everything from scratch from the hardwood stained floor to the little painting on the wall.
The Executioner and his axe are made from Super Sculpey clay, metal wire, wooden rod, aluminum foil, metal mesh, and miniature chain. I used brushes and acrylic paint to paint everything. I used a very light balsa wood to build the door so the pieces would be light enough to be suspended in midair by thin metal wires.
This was an ambitious project and after several weeks of work, here I am uploading it just before the contest deadline. I'm so glad I made in time. I was really excited when I saw this contest theme. I hope everyone enjoys my work.
For anyone interested I'm uploading a few work in progress shots in my scraps section.
