The bird Pokemon was able to protect itself before Boldore could launch one boulder towards it.

Before Cheren could say anything, Boldore was already on the move. Launching gigantic forms of rocks at Cheren's Unfezant. Until it was knocked out.
I smirked as Cheren returned Unfezant to its Pokeball.
Cheren sent out a blue, monkey Pokemon. Lv.43 Water type, as you could tell by how she looked. I returned Boldore to his Pokeball.

A long time ago some fool grabbed a Ninetales tale, he of course was cursed. Him and all of his descendents would die at the hands of the pokemon they them selfs loved the most. Now granted the man who was cursed had a Krookodile and those arn't known for there loving personality's, but to have your own pokemon eat you was the start of my family's curse. People pushed the though aside and went on with there lives thinking that the curse wouldn't be passed on.
