I tried to be the first guy here to model this new ferrari without having any blueprints at all.
the exterioer is done and i am quite happy with it, interioer and motor are still missing.

modeled and rendered with Blender 2.66 (cycles renderer 2000 samples/10 minutes)

Finally, I get to make one of my concept reality.. I mean finished Matte Painting.

took me a while to change this into correct aspect ratio, have to re-composite the whole image.

the chains and the bridge were modeled/texture and rendered in 3ds Max.

I'll try to make a camera projection animation of it. Hope you guys like it!

My first render with 3ds Max and Vray.. i started working with Max a week ago, not the worst result iŽd say... although some of the geometry ended up in a pretty bad shape... mainly the room itself since it was the first thing i did...

All modeling, shading/textures*, lighting, render/comp done by me. The car isn't exactly proportional to a 510, but I used over 100 references from many different years/models and came up with this. All done in Maya 2014, a little ZBrush, and comped in Photoshop CS6. Rendered with Mental Ray using primarily the mia_material_x_passes shader, and the mi_car_paint_phen_x_passes for the orange paint.

*The ground ashpalt texture is a combination of some stuff I got on cgtextures.com
