Corwin Havens scanned the crowd of writhing life. Patrons, dancers, drunks and perverts made up a sizeable portion of the current population in Chora's Den, one of the Citadels most popular drinking spots. The place was crowded for so early in the evening but Corwin had managed to secure a large booth in the corner. Anyone joining him there would enjoy a degree of privacy and enough quiet to ensure their words were not drowned out by the pulsating music.
He had donned red and grey medium armour with an assault rifle on his back and a pistol at his right side. Corwin, with his blonde hair, blue eyes and six foot frame would have been the ideal posterboy for an Alliance recruitment drive. Underneath his armour was a trimmed and muscular body, honed by years of heavy physical training. He took a sip of his drink and grimaced, it tasted like rotting cinnamon but it passed for alcohol, so that was enough.
Slowly, Corwin searched through the crowd looking for any sign of the peopl

There was a long and very detailed list of things that Commander Jane Shepard hated: from top to bottom it consisted of so many position that no sane individual could count without changing their status to insane
But most of all Jane hated one thing to be wakened up in the middle of the sweetest dream with annoying electronic voice!
"Commander Shepard! Good Morning!"
With a very long and heavy sigh that didn`t promise anything good, Jane opened her eyes and looked from under the thick blanket on the round blue holographic display on her desk!

She never actually finished her speech since the next second the mighty wave of Dark Energy ripped the interface off the table with its roots. As lifeless device fell on her cabin`s floor leaving only quite sizzle and sparks Commander put her hand back under the blank

Commander Shepard glanced back to the now shut door behind her, not without some apprehension, though she made sure it wasn't visible. The man who had negotiated with her stood by her side, giving her an encouraging, if shifty smile, his comrades moving away to remove their helmets and their weapons as well.
Shepard noticed the neat weapon racks lining the small antechamber that stood just past the entrance to the mining complex; the men seemed to arrange their gear with practiced ease, she thought, which was probably the case. Her escort joined them briefly, setting his own helmet and rifle in one of the spaces before returning to her.
He was older than she had thought, a stately-looking man with a bit of gray in his temples. His expression was grim, though not unfriendly and he had not stopped watching her for a single moment, through knowing, steel-gray eyes that seemed to peer into her soul.
He reminded her a bit of Admiral Anderson, she thought vaguely; the same portly demeanour,

"I. DON`T. CARE. if 'The patient is resting' LET ME IN, GODDESS-DAMN-IT!" That ice cold tone would make even Grunt cry for his glass mother, no wonder the receptionist in the Hospital suddenly got some more white strands in her short red hair.
Garrus and Tali as well as other who came to visit patient were waiting outside, but for Liara that slow torture was not an option! Not to mention that as a Shadow Broker she wasn`t used to asking for things more than once.
The poor girl was trying to explain that visiting patient is not advisable at the moment but unfortunately world around her suddenly turned up-down where her angry interlocutor was standing on the celling and illuminating the place with blue lights. The guards that tried to sedate young asari were frozen in shiny stasis field like ants in amber a second later.
"Commander Jaina Shepard!" T`Soni spelled one more time, using all her self control to keep the voice more or less steady, although the air around her hummed with

Shepard entered the sciencells containment block. Despite the battle being over, he still wore both the blue and green power rings. Voz, the sciencell warden, stood at the entrance to the block. The alien resembled earth's sloth though he stood at over ten feet tall.
"Lantern Jordan," Voz greeted in a neutral tone. "What are you doing here?"
"I wish to speak with Atrocitus."
Voz raised a brow. "May I ask why?"
"I have questions I need answered."
Voz continued staring at him suspiciously.
"I'm not asking for his cell to be opened. I'll speak to him through it."
"Very well, Lantern. You saved Oa from the red lanterns. No harm in talking." The doors behind Voz opened up letting Hal inside. Inside the block, Hal was able to truly see just how immense the bock was. There were hundreds of sciencells all over. Most were stacked into columns. That rose as high as skyscrapers.
Hal held up his ring and said, "Locate Atrocitus." His ring shot out a beam of light in a singl

Tagren opened his eyes, frowning and hissing of pain; he felt like he was hit by meteorite... Something heavy was pressing him from above, very heavy.

I figured I'd set a few hours aside to throw something together that I would have been content to accept as the series finale.
It's pretty skeletal at times and I'm sure someone more knowledgeable with Mass Effect lore could do better but w/e
I didn't want to go super overboard with details-if you're a Mass Effect fan you'll be able to imagine the extras and fill in the blanks.
EDIT: So, after getting back into Mass Effect 3, I realized that I'd made a little mistake with my ending here.
That is that 'war assets' are more important then 'galactic readiness' so, consider that as a part of what get's you a respective ending too.

Sinestro let out a pained breath as he woke up. He coughed from breathing in dirty air. His body felt like it was on fire; a side effect from being thrown into the Anti-Matter universe. Sinestro was shaking as he got to his feet. He scanned the area to get a sense of where he was. The area was a wasteland. No life grew in the soil of the land.
Only one thought was on his mind. He needed to find anything to help him survive. He picked a direction and moved forward. Time was meaningless in this desolate. It could have been hours and he wouldn't know. All he could do was keep moving. The landscape all looked alike. Being left to his thoughts, Sinestro figured out exactly where he was: Qward. He remembered the offer Parallax made to him. It was here he could get help.
"Halt!" someone yelled.
Sinestro stopped in his tracks and scanned the area. He saw people stand on top of the cliff edges. They were dressed in golden armour, helmets with wings on the sides,

"Hey!" Tali yelled like alarm when the wrench simply flew off from her hand and with hollow clank fell on the cold slatted floor of the Engineering deck. The Quarian tech sighed irritated, looking at the chuckling person in the corner and venting air off her suit angrily.

From: Commander J. Shepard, Alliance Military.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I write this to you with the sincerest and most deeply felt condolences for your loss.
You may or may not be aware that I am the one responsible for the destruction of Aratoht, and the Bahak system. As such, I feel the need to explain to you as well as I am permitted why I took the action I did.
I can not go into the details at this time, but please know that the lives lost on Aratoht were not lost in vain. Their sacrifice, by my infliction, saved the lives of billions of other people.
The sacrifice of your family and friends has allowed all other life in our galaxy to continue.
I wish I could tell you all that I know, so that you might have a hope of understanding the true magnitude of the threat I speak of.
Unfortunately I can not, and even if I could I know that it would not be enough to take away your pain.
I am to blame for that pain, and I would not ask you to forgive

I fiddled with an icon to turn up the volume. Say what you like about the human military (we handed their asses to them in the First Contact War), but their artists were second to none.
And when the world it starts to burn
Funny how optimistic the humans could be. Their homeworld was hit hard by the Reapers; there was nothing but an underground resistance movement left. Millions were harvested every day. Yet, out on the colonies, people kept producing works of art like this: songs, poetry, anything to encourage their troops to keep fighting.
At the point of no return
My home planet, Palaven, had been hit almost as hard as as Earth was. We'd bogged the Reapers down into a ground war. We took so many c

Imagine the first 10 minutes of the Oscar-winning Pixar film "Up", you know, where there's no dialogue and it's all visual imagery with music and yet that first 10 minutes perfectly tell a story of a married couple. Now stretch out that 10 minutes into 90 minutes and tell a totally different story written by the late Jaques Tati and you get "L'Illusionniste"

For the second time in 6 years Equestria found itself in a war between the New Lunar Republic and Solar Empire. This time a 3rd party; the Legion of Discord was thrown in. Both the NLR and SE fought each other as well as the LoD in a war that lasted 6 months, and almost resulted in the end of Equestria and all other lands as we knew them.
The first war started 4 years after the return of Princess Luna. Both her and Princess Celestia ruled over Equestria peacefully at first. But after a period of time Luna started disapproving of how Celestia was ruling the land, viewing some of it as almost tyrannical. Tensions started rising between the two sisters again, and between the citizens of Equestria, who were also viewing Equestria's rule under the Solar Empire the same way.
It finally came to a head when Celestia announced some new laws at a Parliament meeting. Luna bluntly objected, angering Celestia. A fight broke o
