She’d gotten used to them - the headlights that constantly ran through the room from passing cabs, the random advertisements that illuminated depending on if it was day or night, even the odd sounds of a city surrounding her. It was amazing what a good set of blinds would do - although it did make it more difficult to spot attackers, from what Garrus and Zaeed had told her.
But something else was on her mind, and she wasn’t really sure how to share that with Garrus.
As soon as she’d returned from the doctor she’d leaned against the door, trying to steady herself as she tried to arrange her thoughts, trying to accept what he’d told her. She’d stayed that way until she heard the movement of her turian counterpart in the apartment and pushed herself into action - if she was busy it would hold off the inevitable...until she knew what to say...
For most of the afternoon she wandered about the apartment, slowly making it her own in little subtle ways as sh

“Maybe even find out what a turian-human baby looks like,” he murmured, looking down at the woman he loved, seeing the flare of battle in her eyes. He watched a smile tug at the edges of her mouth, “I’m game, but I think adoption’s a better idea - biology may not cooperate,” she chuckled, brushing a few stray curls away from her face.
Garrus could feel himself smirk as flashes of Project Lazarus files zipped through his mind. Mordin had done his homework diligently under the turian’s guidance once he learned of Garrus and Shepard’s relationship. The salarian had come across some notes about how yes, they’d brought Shepard back 100%, but they’d given her some upgrades so she’d be harder to kill, things to make her body adapt. Over the course of their relationship, Mordin had brought all of this to Garrus, along with information that Shepard her visited him with symptoms that Garrus had picked up on instantly.

(Shepard has lost so many people crew friends family a few of the crew have been gunning for him. He ignored them until he hears his crew talking about him in the mess as he hangs back in the shadows to listen. When you bottle all those emotions what happens when the bottle brakes?)
Almost the whole ground team was in the mess and almost none of them noticed Shepard in the shadows. He had just come out of the med-bay after a long conversation with legion. Zaeed and Thane were the only ones that noticed Shepard. Both nodded to him but didn't alert the others to his presence. Shepard knew why they didn't, the conversation was about him. He was about to sneak past them when he heard Jack bring up his name. The gossip was just stories that the others had heard until Samara voiced her thought that the Commander was close to his crew but distant at the same time. Kasumi smirked and said that the Commander had ignored any hint she dropped. That thief, he wa

My name is Diana Allers, I was a news reporter during the war... during the war. So strange to think that all of it is over, long finished even as I write this. That I got to watch Reaper shells burning in space outside my window. For the final battle Commander Shepherd had me transfer over to the flagship of Alliance Fleet Admiral Hackett, to get the best view he said. I was there on the bridge for all of it. The desperation, the pain, the sacrifice and... the triumph. The fact that I am alive to write this today proves that we won, that against all odds the galaxy stood together and prevailed.
The fleet took massive casualties in those desperate hours of fighting. Even worse the firing of the Crucible, the super weapon that has delivered us, has also heralded the start of a dark age, where all the universe is cut off fr

"I've got a signal! It's weak, but it's definitely there." Tali said, fretting over her Omni-tool as she and the others who had been with Shepard from the start began their desperate search for him. As they move through the rubble left over from the Reapers attacks, the pulsing on Tali's Omni-tool quickens. "We're getting closer."
Hold on my love, we're coming.
"How the hell did Shepard get back from the Citadel in the first place?" Wrex said after lifting up half of a broken wall off the ground.
"Does it matter?" Tali said frantically, "We just need to find him!"
Liara comes in behind Tali and grabs a hold of her shoulder. "Don't worry Tali, we'll find him."
Suddenly Ashley screams out in the distance. "Everyone! I found him!"

Kaidan's life has not always been easy. BAaT nearly drove him to madness, life after was a struggle, but now Now he is ready. For whatever life tosses at him. Or so he thinks.
Kaidan looked down at the com-pad again, just reading over the requirements needed for him to even consider joining theAlliance.
He had thought about it a lot, or at least from when he was able to think straight again. BAaT did that to its he hesitated to call them students, but that was the title officially. Bullshit of course, but he was among a handful of survivors who actually knew the truth.
Bottom line, BAaT downright fucked with a person's brain.

"Are you sure this is what Shepard would want? He seemed to prefer me out of my suit. Why put more clothes on?" Tali's voice sounded uncertain as she nervously stretched the waistband of a pair of silky black panties.

"I should probably warn you that the Krogan version of 'catch' bares some slight differences to the Earth ritual." Mordin commented, interlocking his fingers at the small of his back in a scholarly gesture.
"Oh, no kidding." Shepard scowled, rolling her eyes as the Urdnot Shaman smeared war paint across her face.
"It is, however, still considered an excellent bonding ritual. For the surviving participants, of course."
Shepard had wondered why Zaeed found it so humorous that she had accepted the invitation. At the time, she assumed her reputation simply conflicted with the mental image of green grass and softball uniforms. Now that she was half naked and clutching a spear while the Shaman bellowed her death rites, the joke was becoming astonishingly less funny.
A troupe of well-armored Krogans escorted a cage of frothing mad creatures toward the gladiatorial pit; their claws and fur matted with blood.
"What are those?" Shepard gaped.

Kai Leng stole Vendetta from Shepard, Cerberus now had the information on the Catalyst, and the homeworld of the Asari was now completely abandoned, as all life on it was expunged by the Reapers. Wrex entered her room, striding slowly, powerful muscles twitching under his clothing, crest reflecting the dim of the lights. Illuim had never felt colder. The Normandy sat
silently in the docking bay as the crew exited quietly. Shepard and his men
were finally about to meet their separate paths and lead their own lives once
more. They had completed their duties and served abroad; they now owed nothing

he was ready to say goodbye, hoping that they would be able to as well.
The lively spaceport they had docked with was now
winding down; merchants were closing shop for the evening, traffic was drifting
apart, and not as many people strolled about as they had in the past few
minutes. It mattered not, however, as the crewmen chose a secluded transport
hub to say their goodbyes. Privacy did not matter, but publicity did. Shepard

"Give me cover on 3," Jack called out in acknowledgement, "1, 2, 3!"
Shepard sighted his rifle over the top of the cover and started to lay down a blizzard of covering fire, the sharp staccato punctuated by the deeper thump of Tali's shotgun as both weapons peppered the crates on the far side of the room. Jack gathered herself and flung a shockwave of biotic power towards the crates, violently scattering them and the 4 guards that were using them for cover. "Die bastards!"
Whilst the guards where disoriented the team mates split for new cover, Tali and Shepard firing into the slowly stirring guards

The background glow of the galaxy. Silent, achingly beautiful.
The space between Palaven and its largest moon rippled and flashed as the entire might of Turian Home Fleet - dozens of capital ships escorted by hundreds of cruisers emerged from FTL to confront the Reaper fleet that was laying siege to the turian homeworld.
Forming up in a series of interlocking phalanxes, the Second, Sixth, and Tenth cruiser squadrons, screened by scores of Kara class fighters, charged the six Reaper capital ships that hung between the turian armada and the Reaper invasion fleet.
Captain Kar aboard the battlecruiser Repulse watched with hard eyes as the fleet opened fire on the reapers. Incendiary and penetrator shells slammed into the reapers' barrier shields with minimal effect.
"Contact the rest of the squadron," he ordered. "Tell them to focus their fire on-"

The reaper line surged forward impossibly fast, and the nearest one's weapon-arms opened up. A bea

The ancient quarian station of Sul'Kut hung in low geosynchronous orbit over Rannoch's war-scarred surface. Shepard's pulse had involuntarily spiked at the sight of the slate gray construct. Every curve and panel looked identical to the Heretic station that he, Tali and Legion had boarded to eliminate the Reaper-crafted virus. As the Kodiak neared the platform's docking complex, The Commander caught sight of quarian script along one of the cargo doors. Legion caught sight of the writing and its head jerked back as if it had been struck. Tali also saw the lettering, but her reaction was a fit of laughter that caught Shepard's attention.
Before the human could front the question as to what she found so funny, Legion began its own inquiry. "We do not understand why a typographical error is humorous in this context, Creator Tali'Zorah."
"It's complicated Legion." Her reply came somewhat breathlessly.

But their trips had only led them to unexplored systems or planets where the crime rate was so high it was dangerous walking in the streets. As a consequence, the crew had not set foot on a "civilized" world for more than four weeks and tensions were starting to rise despite the daily sparing sessions. Of The Bonnacon
The bonnacon appears first in "Of Animals" by Sardun of Fahistar. "In the valley of Niag and south thereof lives an animal that looks like a black bull besides the neck which is said to have a mane of a horse. Its horns are large but curve inwards in a way that they are useless in fighting, for the bonnacon is a peaceful animal. When attacked it will turn to run and expel its dung, which is so foul that it burns the skin like fire." It is remarkable that no Erdasians ever mention such an animal, even though they had trade relations with the Qwaraanmians of Medesia for thousands of year before the forming of Dar-lsnar.
In the Bestiary of Thelquam, written by Thelmar, bonnacon is described as a bull-like animal whose horns curve backwards, and whose dung is flammabe and can burn a great area behind it. Several scholars and alchemists approached traders heading for Yiag-Sidar in the hopes they could bring bonnacon dung with them, so its incendiary properti
