This is the planetscape I made as the backdrop for the space battle image that I'll be uploading as soon as I get the all clear. The main image is for a cool little Asteroids-like multiplayer webgame that's in development called Rawkets.
It's a little rough around the edges here and there, being as I knew I'd be covering a good portion of it up with foreground and midground elements in the final, but it's probably not too noticeable unless you're staring at it full res like I do, rofl.
I just thought some people would like to see it without all the action, and maybe use it as a wallpaper. You can get them by clicking the download link, the sizes I've provided are:
I proudly present my latest wallpaper. The story: You are in the captain's office right after a larger fight. The ship was heavily damaged but the homefleet was successful. At the moment you are on the search for the rest of the escaped aggressors. The captain starts to have doubts about his mission, his job and his life...
Ok I tried new things in this pic and I'm pretty happy with it's outcome. I ever wanted to creat a flight-scene with larger ships. To avoid confusion: the thing on the right side is an extraterrestrial transmitter. I thougt it's nice to implement new elements to the common stuff. It basically is a mattepainting, textures were taken from cgtextures.com. There'll be only one resolution this time (via download). It's a larger wide-screen so you shouldn't have problems by sizing it down (or adding borders for your personal scree-size).
I appreciate every comment, fav and email, as always :thighthug: Thanks to ~LordDaroth for the title
The base stock is an early morning panorama photo of my hometown Dresden. I always wanted to give it a futuristic look and that is why I gave it a try (and besides the larger planet this might become reality one day). Fence from cgtextures.com.
I'm still in love with winterscenes. I actually couldn't decide what version I like more, which is why I added both to the zip file, so the decision is up to you. The first version without interface and binoculars can be seen here. Only own stocks and resources have been used.
I hope you like it. A bit of a different point of view this time.
Here's the space battle I was hired to illustrate for the HTML5 multiplayer webgame Rawkets. It's still in development with a lot of features to be added, and some minor bugs to be ironed out, but as it stands, it's a lot of fun to drop in and blow up friends! The image was put on a banner and is being put on a cool little arcade machine too.
Like the wallpaper background version that you can find below, I've chosen to upload a set of wallpapers of this one too. The sizes are:
I had to do something quick for myself in order to feel better. The scene isn't that original. I tried to make it look kind of realistic (especially by chosing the colors). I haven't done many scenes like this before so I thought it was about time to try one again.
I hope you like it. Comments and favs (especially in case you are using it as wallpaper) are very appreciated like everytime!
A very dynamic scene of a planet which is breaking into two parts. I wanted to try a different look this time with more vibrant and fluid core activities. I hope you like it. Some wallpaper included in the wp-package.
