The Darkfallen, San'layn.
Welcome to the Darkfallen, San'layn guide. Here you can find all the information currently known about the race and faction. Information will be added over time if anything new becomes available.
Before you decide to make a Darkfallen character.
Think for a moment. Reconsider, maybe. Playing a Darkfallen is considered difficult, if near impossible, to pull off.
First of all, they aren't vampires.
Second, they're undead. Not attractive and glitzy.
Third, they cannot create other Darkfallen.
Fourth, they're most likely Scourge loyal.
Racial name: Darkfallen.
'Faction name': San'layn, of the Scourge.
Previous race: Blood elf only.
Language(s): Thalassian, Common.
The Darkfallen are the elite, immortal soldiers of the Scourge
For Xigbar LoversYou groaned as someone pounded on your door. Ever since you moved into The Castle Was Never Was, you made it damn clear that no one(or no nobody) was to disturb you before eleven A.M. unless they have a death wish or a perfectly prepared cup of coffee. You looked at your clock and growled as you realized it was only seven thirty five. The pounding continued for a good five minutes. You went to the door and threw it open. For Xigbar Lovers5 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This
"What?! What is so freaking important that you had to wake me at seven thirty?!" Xigbar and Demyx stood there with nothing but swim trunks on and holding surf boards.
"The beach trip we planned? Ya know, the one you wanted so bad you nearly begged the superior to let us go?" Demyx said, looking as if he wanted to run already. You blinked and shut your door. Seconds later, you swung it back open with your swim clothes on.
"Oh ya. I totally didn't forget." You said cheerfully. Swimming always made you happy. As long as you didn't go out too far. Deep open water made you

One of my arrows missed.
I knew this day was coming. I am not as young as I once was, and the last few years especially have worn me down. My right shoulder is a chronic source of pain, even when it is not in use. It was only a matter of time before my aim started to suffer. But it has long decades since I missed a stationary target. I did not realize how badly it would shake my confidence.
What good is an archer whose aim is less than true?
I have honed this skill my entire life, and protected my people with it for nearly two centuries now. The Sin'dorei need every bow left to us to hold off those who would destroy us without a thought. Even now, almost half of our last city still lies in ruins.
But, if I lose my aim, I will be worse than useless. I will be a liability.
I have never forgotten how I felt when I was a child. Before the Farstriders, before arrows that never missed. I remember how it felt then, to be without talent, or a way

He stopped behind me as I was doing my nightly ritual of target practice at the training field in Silvermoon. I could feel his presence before he even spoke. He has a magnetism that I can sense deep within me, just by being near him. I am not entirely sure what to make of that. Thorian was sitting silently next to me, his tail twitching back and forth.
Jhur walked up beside him and scratched Thorian's ear as he spoke. "You're training without armor . are you just bored or trying to work something out of your thoughts?"
I turned, feeling the smile on my face materialize at the sound of his voice. "Oh, a bit of both, perhaps. I am glad to see you. How are you feeling?"
He returned my smile, shrugging. "I'm fine. Why wouldn't I be?"
My eyes lowered unbidden to his neck. "Well, that, for one. And I have not seen you for a while. I have been a little worried about you."
"Ah, you remember that? Pity."
I stared at him in amazement. "How could I possibly forget such a thi
An Interview with Lady VashjSunedran, top journalist of the Kalimdor Times, had been trying for years to get an interview with Queen Azshara. It had all been to no avail. It seemed that the Daughter of a Thousand Moons thought talking to journalists was beneath her. The offer of an interview with Lady Vashj, one of the queen's chief highborne ladies-in-waiting and close confident was definitely the next best thing. An Interview with Lady Vashj4 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
The night elves worshiped and adored their queen. To them she was the very model of perfection, beautiful, wise and benevolent. Sunedran had seen Azshara from a distance and could only admire her magnificence. A major part of him wanted to be carried away by the tide of adoration, yet somehow it didn't quite ring true. The common view of Azshara as the perfect queen simply did not sit with his journalistic instinct. Deep down, he knew that if you dug hard enough, you could always find a scandal. Perhaps Vashj could help him to find the real Azshara.
For the interview, Sunedran wore a plain dark blue ro

"You know, Grim, for us not being the heroes of the horde we are doing an awful lot of crap the heroes should be doing." The forsaken groaned trailing behind the ashen tinted orc and his towering felgaurd demon, as they crest over the small hillside by Darrowmere Lake. Not too many people would willingly travel with a warlock; the taboo that followed them was well warranted. Mostly if that orc was a Dragonmaw orc; Lim didn't know the specifics but the other orc's made it sound like a big deal. However, Grimblood seemed like a good enough fellow. At least he didn't complain about Lim's stench. Though, that might be due to the fact it was hard to smell over the brimstone sent his demon let off.
Grimblood sighed and shook his head. It wasn't that he didn't share his friend's sentiment on the matter; he just didn't see the point in complaining about it.
"Well there is no point is whining about it, is there?" Grimblood voiced looking back at the unde

"Are you busy?"
Valeria looked up from her whetstone and smiled. Smiling came easily to her whenever he was near.
"For you? Not at all." She set aside the mundane task of honing her daggers and rose from her seat beside the fire. "What's on your mind?"
"Here, look at this," as though time were of the essence, Alistair's hand thrust out before him. Clutched gently within the metal grip was a single rose; its ruby petals open in glorious bloom. "Do you know what this is?" He asked. Valeria had the feeling this was a set up for a joke; his flurried movements and rushed words hinting that she had to respond for the game to continue.
"A rather odd choice of weaponry for you, don't you think?" She struck first, unwilling to lose this battle of wits without putting up at least a weak struggle. Alistair smiled at her jest.
Pink.Aellynne had spent the afternoon packing for the trip. Her wardrobe was incredibly miniscule for a Sin'dorei. And of the clothes she owned, the ones she actually wore were even fewer in number. Much of the simple wooden armoire in her room in the barracks was taken up by clothes that were gifts from her sister, that she could never imagine herself wearing in public. One dress in particular was so revealing, just looking at herself in the mirror trying it on had made her blush. She could still not quite understand how wearing something like that could make her feel more naked than actually being nude.Pink.3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
But, she had a feeling that though Jhur's purpose in making this trip was probably more than his stated reason of 'rowdiness', it wise to bring something besides the usual armor and lighter leather clothing she tended to wear. So she was digging back into drawers beneath the armoire that she had not even looked at for years. Reaching into the recesses of the one on the bottom, her sca

He could not help what he had become and it could have been worse. She listened to him describe the vile concoction patiently and then asked him to show her the magnificent dagger that had bedazzled her thoughts since she had first noticed it weeks ago. After first spying the enchanted weapon, she had counted out the coins in her purse once and then again, making certain there would be enough to buy the dagger and still leave money for purchasing armor or weapons for the others. To compensate the cost she had been venturing into the deep roads for plundered goods before at last selling her spare daggers and an expensive ruby pendant she had not donned since receiving her Warden's Oath. The loss of the bauble had Morrigan l

Gulping down the rest of her milk, Yousha slammed the glass on the round wooden table.
"Finished!" she announced. Giving a big smile at her parents.
Her mother looked up from her plate, knife and fork in hand. She sighed giving a little smile. "Alright little minx, you can go." Tharisa chuckled lightly.
Yousha's eyes lit up with delight, she jumped down from her chair, wiping the remainder milk from her top lip with her arm. She scampered out the front door of their little cottage, shutting the door loudly, before running down the path and cutting through the forest.
Lorin'Das looked up from his book. Blinking at his wife. "She's only seven years old and still I have no idea where she gets her energy from."
Smiling, Tharisa replied. "She just can't get enough of Vekusen and Klyra."
Lorin'Das gave a small chuckle, returning to his book.
Pumping her arms and panting through her mouth, Yousha could see her best friends down by the small river that ran under a large bridge.

She sat at her writing desk, her quill poised absently over blank parchment. Ferelden's new queen had thought it would be an easy tale to write. Scholars and historians had of late been clamoring at chance to draft the account, inundating the palace with requests for the details of the journey of Ferelden's heroes through their battle against the Blight. One by one she had reviewed and dismissed the requests, finally choosing to put the adventures to ink personally. It seemed only fitting after all.
Yet sitting here, intentionally pulling to mind stories so dear and yet still so raw to her brilliant green eyes filled and she blinked quickly before the tears could escape and ruin the parchment beneath her fingers.
Maybe it is still too soon.

Elliot stroked the lovely Princess's face. She moaned pleasureful under his gleaming chest. Lightly he grazed her soft skin with his figuretips. Her beautiful eyes sparkled in the moonlight, her body breathing with pleasure. He felt their hearts pounding in their chests, beating as one. "How was that my Princess." He cooed in her ear.
"Quite satistfatory." she teased with an exhaused smile on her gleaming face.
She reached up and stroked the hair that clung to his wet brow.
"Oh I'm glad to have pleased my Princess." He laughed and pulled her onto his chest.

"This is where I wake up usually," he muttered to himself under his breath. "Or where everyone points and laughs because I have no clothes on." The camp was full of torchlight and the chatter of soldiers, but Koshei’s focus was elsewhere. He was once again headed towards the small hut where they had been keeping Jin’thekk in solitary; he’d gone at least once a day, every day, for the past week. Sometimes it was at night, and others it was first thing in the morning. His schedule was often changing, but his determination did not waver. Even though Jin’thekk hadn’t said a single word to him since the morning he’d had the nightmare, the elf had no intention of giving up. They would get through this, even if it took a lifetime.
Wrapped out of sight, he’d brought a flank of nearly raw shoveltusk meat and a skin of water. They did, of course, feed the troll, but Koshei felt that it wasn’t nearl
A Warrior's Balance 1They had met here as determined in the letter. A rather formal way to decide a meeting, but Jaina had been very specific that the usual place in Durotar would not be right for what would be discussed tonight. It had to be on neutral ground and concealed under cover of darkness as well as disguised. Jaina shifted uncharacteristically nervously on the chair she sat on in the corner of the little dive in Ratchet, bright blue eyes shifting occasionally towards the door. Her usual purple cloak had been abandoned tonight in favor of one in jet black with an ordinary silver clasp. A few stray locks of golden hair stuck out under the cloak, but she was paying no attention to that. The redness around her blue eyes and the wetness of her pretty face showed she'd been crying even in the dim light of the seedy little tavern. Of course, a seedy little tavern in Ratchet was probably the only place a pretty girl could cry and nobody would give her a second look, thus making it perfect.A Warrior's Balance 15 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This
