Loki languidly looked out of the window at the falling snow. He had loved to build snowmen and play around in the cold as a child but now it only reminded him of what he wished he could forget. Looking down at his hands doubtingly he wondered whether he would transform under the touch of this weather. He had searched the whole library (as soon as he had been allowed to leave his...room, as they called it, but Loki saw it as what it was: a prison.) for an explanation of the magic that had given him an Asgardian appearance since he had been a baby, but hadn't found anything. Asking Odin about would have been the next, logical step, but he was too proud for that. Talking about his true nature with him once had been more than enough. Loki snorted in contempt.
If it had been for him, we never would have talked about it. He would have been just fine lying to me for the rest of his sorry life.

Part 1 (avengers/loki fanfic)She was a simple young adult, or as simple as they could come; she thought. Alva had lived in New Mexico with her best friend Jane Foster ever since her parents died when she was young. As they got older, Jane invited Alva to share a small house on the outskirts of town with their close friend, Dr. Erik Selvig. Erik had permitted her to stay with them until she had found work, which turned out to be easier than she had thought. Alva was swiftly recruited by Jane to be her assistant in her research. Although she was provided with a job and a warm welcome from her friend, Alva stayed broken for the longest time and therefore beca
Part 2 (avengers/loki fanfic)“You’re… you’re Iron Man…” Alva’s voice sounded shakier than she had planned, but really?! Dr. Selvig had somehow got her a job with Tony Stark and didn’t bother to tell her? Didn’t Tony already have an assistant anyways? Virginia Potts was her name if Alva remembered correctly, but some of the press called her Pepper.Part 2 (avengers/loki fanfic)2 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
Tony just gave a low chuckle and carefully took the duffle bag from her shoulder, “You can just call me Tony. Here, let me take this. I’ll show you to your room. You’ll be staying here at Stark tower due to the fact I will need your help on a daily basis.” He easily swung the bag over his broad shoulder and began to walk towards a staircase near the corner of the room. “Some of the guest bedrooms are on the next floor up.”
Alva was still trying to process everything that was happening as she followed him to the staircase. “And… which floor is that exactly?”
