"I can't believe my dear Howard is gone!"cried the old widow out as peramedics removed the dead body of her murdered husband. "Anyone who pops to mind that hated your husband so much that he wanted him dead?"I asked not interested in the grief of the wheeping widow.
"What he means is that we're sorry for your loss ma'am."John picked in, trying to smooth-talk my emotionless action. "But we want to catch the killer of your husband as quickly as possible and therefor we need to question any person of interest. Is there someone in preticuliar where Mr. Jamesson spended a lot of time with?". "Well..."she sniffed. "There is one person who knew my husband better then I did and that's our granddaughter. She lives here at the mansion ever since she was 15 because her parents died in a car accident. I patiently sat on one of the chairs in the kitchen as Dr. John Watson bandaged up my elbow. "It's not that bad."he informed me. "Just a small cut and some scratches around it. In about a week it should be healed.". "Thanks."I answered when suddenly Mr. Holmes decided to join the teaparty. He watched carefully how his partner finished with bandaging up my elbow before he spoke.
"I have a gift for you."he told me and dropped something very small in my handpalm. "A diamond?"I asked confused as I watched how the tiny crystal glittered in the sunlight that came through the window. "Yes. Found it on the crimescene."the detective stated and looked at me challenging as if he wanted some kind of revenge concerning our conversation back in the livingroom. That or... He was testing me.
I looked back at the tiny thing in my hand. "Single cut round shape diamond."I said. "Clarity SI 1, quality... G-H color rated. About one milimeter big, maybe a bit more. I would say

"So, what's the story?"John wanted to know as I looked at the crimescene. "The door isn't forced open."I concluded. "He let his murderer in what meant he knew him. The murderer however didn't plan to kill Mr. Jamesson.". "What makes you think that?"my compagnion asked. "The murderweapon was an empty whiskeybotle as you can see at the shards on the ground."I pointed out. "Blunt force trauma..."John whispered.
"The bottle stood on this table."I added pointing at the thin layer of dust on the small wooden table where a dark circle could be seen. "The murderer used an item from the room. You don't do that when you plan a murder ahead. Then you bring the weapon along yourself so you can take it with you again when you leave.". That's the moment when something between the shards of glass caught my eye. Something that looked like glass but it glittered more...

We reached the docks a few seconds before Lestrade and his men did. "Over there."Allie said and nudged her head in the direction of a man who was walking along side a boy that matched Adam Tate's discription. "That's them."I concluded but then the sound of sirens behind us flared up what made the kidnapper glance over his shoulder. At the sight of the policecars, he picked Adam up and sprinted away.
"Care for a chase?"I asked my partners who both nodded. I knew Allie had a good condition being that she jogged from time to time, but still her speed suprised me. And it also suprised the kidnapper. When he saw the three of us were coming closer he knew he had to speed up. And if he wanted to do so, he had to lose dead weight that slowed him down. In horror everyone watched how he simply tossed the small boy into the cold water of the Thames.
This putted me on a crossroad with two possible decissions to chose from. One, chasing the kidnapper with the risk

An almost-heartattack and a hot bath later, I left the bathroom wearing my pjs who consisted out of a black tanktop and a checked pair of pants. As I walked down the stairs I almost bumped into John who appearantly had decided to call it a day.
"Is Sherlock still downstairs?"I asked while I passed him. "Yes."he said with a sigh. "He's visiting his 'mind palace' for the moment so... Don't expect that he'll say much or anything at all for that matter.". "Noted."I assured him and wished him goodnight before I made my way towards the livingroom.
The consulting detective was sitting in his armchair with his hands clapsed together while he was staring out infront of him. He didn't move a muscle when I entered the room. I wonder if he even noticed my presence? Curious about the frozen statue known as Sherlock Holmes, I let myself fall into John's armchair that was placed across of the detective's.

One week later, Allie's POV
"I still can't believe you got my grandmother so far that I could move in with you guys."I admitted when I looked at Sherlock Holmes and John Watson who both sat across from me in the taxi. "Wasn't that hard actually."Sherlock told me. "I simply told her that I was prepared to give you a job at my 'team' but that you had to move to our headquarters then. She quickly agreed when I helped her remember that you wouldn't be around her anymore plus that it wouldn't even cost her a penny.".
I looked at the two men who were going to be my partners from now on. "Not that I don't appreciate your gesture."I said. "But... What's the catch?". Sherlock and John looked at eachother, smiled and then looked back at me. "Simple."Sherlock answered. "You have to go to the store whenever we are out of milk.". "And that happens quite a lot."John pointed out. "Okay..."I said not really knowing if they were joking or not. "Anything else I should know?".

”Allie!”I called out as soon as the heavy door of the old warehouse at Blazerstreet closed behind me. “Sherlock!”her voice responded but sounded strangled. It took less then two minutes for me to reach the room where Allie stood, arms tied behind her back and the rope being grasped by nobody else then Moriarty himself.
He pulled at the said rope what made that Allie silently moaned in pain. “I feel ignored Sherlock.”he spoke next. “You call out for Allison here but not for me. I wonder why that would be?”. “I swear Moriarty, if you harm her in any way...”I started to threat and took a step closer towards him. That when I heard a click from a gun that got loaded behind me. Moriarty wasn’t alone.

As Mycroft's car came to a stop infront of 221 b Bakerstreet, I bursted out of the car knowing my brother wouldn't follow me in. He knew that when I was like this he best left me alone. Besides... He would catch up on the story through John's blog. Call it Mycroft's guilty pleasure...
Slamming the front door shut behind me, I ran up the steps that lead to my apartment. There I almost kicked the door in only to find John in his chair reading the newspaper. "Well, hello to you too."he said, clearly not impressed. But then again, this was the man who witnessed me walking in coated with blood.
"Where's Allie?"I asked, trying to catch my breath in the progress. "Upstairs."John replied. "Taking a bath I think.". As soon as he said the word bath, I already had ran out of the room towards the bathroom. "Allie!"I screamed as I used my fist to slam on the old wooden door. "Allie! If you can hear me, open up!". It took exactly 2 hours, 23 minutes and 17 seconds before the door of my apartment swung open again to reveal no-one else then Allison Jamesson carrying a bag full of groceries in both hands, proving that she and Mrs. Hudson had returned from their shoppingtrip. At the very same moment I was sitting at the kitchentable investigating some bloodcells underneath my microscope.
With a bang that made the table shudder, Allie dropped the bags on the little place that wasn't occupied with my experiments. She sighed annoyed and though my eyes were still busy with looking through the lenses of my microscope, I just knew she was glaring at me.
"Need some help with the groceries Allie?"she asked in a sarcastic voice I suppose was a bad imatation of me. "Ow no Sherlock."she continued. "I've dragged those heavy bags from almost the one side of London to the other, so why would I need help with unpacking?". "If you don't want help then why are you doing so difficult

Later that afternoon, the three of us were sitting around the livingroom in comfortable silence. John had taken a seat at the bureau and was typing away on his laptop while Sherlock was laying on his back on the long couch holding his hands as if he was praying. He hadn't said a word for the last hour and that fact scared me but at the same time I somehow felt... Peaceful. I choose this quiet moment to catch up on some reading while I filed my nails.
"You bit your nails when you were a kid."the voice of Sherlock suddenly said, breaking the sweet silence. "How can you tell?"I asked him, knowing he liked to show off his thinkingpatron but honestly enough... I really did want to know how he knew.

Still yawning I stumbled of the stairs already looking forward to a small breakfast. It was around nine in the morning and I remembered John mentioning the day before that he would go to the bakery to get us breakfast.
As soon as I pushed the door of the livingroom open, the sounds of cups clattering softly against eachother met my ears. "Good morning."John greeted me with a warm smile when I walked into the kitchen. "Morning."I returned the favor. "Where is Sherlock?". "Out."John replied. "Apart from insomnia he also has the habit of skipping breakfast, lunch and sometimes even dinner. You want some tea?". "Please."I answered and leaned against the kitchencounter.
The smell of fresh minttea filled the apartment as John poured a cup in for me and one for himself. "Sugar?"he asked. I nodded on which he added a spoon full of the sweet substance to my cup. We each took a seat at the kitchentable and enjoyed our tea accompanied by a snack from the bakery in c
