I pointed over to the tape on top of the pile. It was completely unmarked, as were the rest. “Let’s check that one out first, shall we?” I asked.
“Fair enough.” Mumbled Arthur. He quietly popped the first tape out, and went into the next room, returning in a minute with a piece of masking tape and a sharpie. He slapped some tape on the edge of the cassette, and scrawled something on it before showing it to me. It read “B-Garasharp”
“The ‘B’ he explained, “marks proof of Baradagi. We might put something else on the tapes if more patterns pop up that we notice.”
I shook my head. “More patterns? You got any coffee, Red Bull, Mountain Dew? This could be a long night…”
He strode into the other room, but was back in a moment with several massive bottles of Mountain Dew in his hands and a big grin on his face. “There’s plenty more where those came from.” he chuckled as he set them in f

"It wasn't his business to do that."
"And it's your business to try hooking me up with Toph?"
"That's not...a personal issue. That's just dating."
"Just dating. Because that hasn't caused any of us drama this year."
Katara's hands ran up through her hair with a huff. She paused, trying to contain herself.
"Can we drop this?"
"Can you drop this?" Sokka countered. "That's the entire point. You won't let things go."
"And you're so good at that."
"Well, I try. Yea."
"Mm. Like how you kept going back and forth with Suki."
"Come on, Sis. Let's not do this."
"No! No, you want to keep talking," Katara pressed in her expectedly snippy fashion. "So let's talk. You moved on when Mom died, but you can't let go of Ulrika."

["What?"] came Meng's shrill squeak of disappointment. ["You haven't wished your parents 'Happy Easter' yet?"]
Toph huffed, rolling over on the couch. Meng frowned at the view of her cousin's back. Just because Toph couldn't see didn't make it OK to just turn her back on people...That was rude.
"Why would I want to?" Toph sighed out.
["Tophie...You can't just, like...pretend like your parents don't exist. How are ya ever gonna patch things up if...-?"]
["Mmm..."] Meng's eyes rolled around at her grumpy-pants cousin. ["OK. Soooo...What are you up to, then?"]
["Nothing? You're with Katara and Aang, right?"]
"Yea. But we haven't been doing anything..."
"Umm...I'm coloring Easter eggs over here," Katara called out from the kitchen. Her tone carried a teensy bit of offense at Toph's complaint.
"That doesn't exactly do much for me, Sugar-Queen."
"We're going to eat them soon," Aang chuckled, coming up behind the couch.

Hands in her pockets, Korra sauntered downstairs to the basement floor of the campus center. She moved at a snail's pace, just as she had all morning. It was finally her lunch break, but in the middle of such a slow and plodding day, this wasn't specifically exciting. She had paid a visit to the campus store the day before to purchase a couple of dress items to prepare for the summer - an SRU logo cap and a pair of sunglasses. She was presently wearing both, as she'd just come from outside before punching out for break. The cool, air conditioned basement was a welcome change from the sticky outdoors.
Before she'd even gone to the counter of Appa's to place an order, she was s

I was playing some sort of videogame about a boy exploring a haunted house, which was mixed up with random memories of me at my old home. I wasn't able to remember most of this dream, but I know it wasn't very eventful until the boy entered the backyard to find a dark, creepy place where he is chased by a wolf into a room full of vampires. The "game" (which at this point I'm just experiencing directly) then becomes a musical puzzle of some sort and difficult to describe. I can't recall how the song went, but the boy had to act in tune with it, a process represented by a convoluted grey surface directly in front of my eyes with snakes, traps and nondescript threats moving in and out of it. After the "song" the Vampires change the boy's pants into shorts (supposedly very useful for entering a special room in the house) and ask him trivia questions about George Washington to determine wether or not they will kill him and drink his blood. Since he answers correctly,

Jane, eyes glued to her biology textbook, referenced a page and scribbled an answer on a worksheet.
"Just thinkin' maybe I don't belong here anymore..." Jane mumbled out, not looking up from her work. Aang studied her stoic face, putting the together some details he hadn't added up until just now. The question was a surprise - it actually made Raids jump a little. He turned his head away and was about to shake it to tell ASP that there wasn't any, but he didn't. Maybe he felt guilty about it or maybe he just wanted ASP to know.
"..There was one", Raids said quietly as they both walked down the hallway, "I'd call it the perfect prototype if I hadn't made that one simple mistake." ASP listened to him carefully, looking at the man's face. She couldn't tell if Raids was feeling happy or not. He always had that face. He never smiled.
"Let's say.. That after I built him I felt like it would probably be the best robot prototype I could ever make. I put it down in the basement to do some simple tests - I was only testing a new body type and its flexibility." All that explaining didn't interest ASP that much. She was more curious about the robot itself. She had been thinking about the past prototypes - there were 56 of them. Sh

You flopped up and sulked to the living room to see Arthur sitting on the floor and Spring sitting on the couch, eating their chicken and watching The Mummy.
Spring smiled and looked up at you. "Did you have fun with Oliver? Even though he scares me..."
Arthur started to say something, but Spring stopped him.

He gulped down his food and said, like Jonathan, "He may have been a stinky fellow, but he had good taste."

They don't see me. It is not a realistic goal to expect them to.
