Ok, after my visit at San Diego Comic Con, and seeing all those awesome cartoon artists who I all adore, I wanted to try to do a drawingin a "cartoonish" style. So this is my first attempt. Don't worry, I will continue my other work of course, but I want to learn new thing, new styles, new stuff!
This kind of looks like a Slave-Leia pose But I wanted to draw my favourite female cartoon character: Fathom Ok, at least I tried.
Now here is the thing: Who is up for inking and/or coloring it? Would love to see what you can do with these kinds of drawings... so just download the drawing, and send me the result!
Despite years of manga imitating and unintentional weeabooism I have yet to draw Tabbi in a sailor uniform. How did that happen?!?!?! I don't know if I'd ever have a reason to use this outfit in canon but it's cute as heck!
I inked this with the pen tool in photoshop. I have never inked a picture with the pen tool before and I really like it! It's so clean... I can still sketch on paper, which is part of my process that I really don't like doing digitally, and yet have super clean lines! I love the future.
I'm working on the next comic page using the pen tool. : )
