A dappled centaur, just because. I'm aware that her right breast is exposed enough that you ought to be able to see more but honestly, it just didn't come out well enough. So eh...

Brushes used, I can't remember where they came from.

This is probably the only piece of work I made for myself in Italy that I actually FINISHED. Generally I never had time to do something like this. Random centaur, and I want her glove/bracers. The scanner washed it out a bit, but I really liked using watercolor to get the dappled effect.

This is another installment of my "series" of mythical creatures ^^ this time after fauns and horned creatures, a centaur.
I had some problems matching the horse color with her hair, so I know they *don't* match ^^

Character is a mix of Gaia and Allison by VAMP plus some mix&match Aiko&V4 morphs tweaked by myself.
I put loads of stuff in her hair, props are from Sheekiira, Misiko, Elfdance, Sylphiad, Petite Fleur sets. Outfit is Arkana+fantasy Collar set, hair is Lykia. Background Among the trees by didi-mc modified by myself.

Hope you like it!^^

Gift for a friend I know at school for her Birthday. Beware the Ides of March! X3

This is her character Loki, that mythical magical prankster who likes to stick twinkies in your shoes and impersonate cops to give you a hard time :3 He can also shapeshift, so it wouldn't be surprising to see him in centaur form. I'm quite pleased with this picture, I tried a new style of shading, yet again, and I think I'll stick with this one because it gives me more control over the shadows and colors. It's more similar to the styles people use in Painter, where I pick out my colors for shadows and highlights and use those rather than relying on the multiply and screen brush modes. Fun times!

Okay, once again, references used for the human and the horse parts. Took quite a while to do and I'm still not entirely happy with her. So very sorry for the generic photoshop background. I just lost my drive to even try one. So, she's done with a crappy background. I hope you like her anyway. Photoshop CS2 and no idea how long it took.

I drew this awhile back. My second favorite fantasy creature is the centaur. I drew her as a strawberry roan! i think they're neat... I'm not great with horse anatomies, at ALL, haha, but i thought i'd give it a shot anyways. I know the arms are kind of long... oh well! enjoy :3

here's my centaur in color. Its a pencil drawing that I opened up in photoshop elements and colored him on another layer. This was actually a tricky piece to do, especially the background. I'm still learning how to work photoshop, so give me some time and I will get better at it. You can find the line art here

Right. Some of you may remember this image when I had it on my elfwood gallery. I've never been really happy with it. Soooooooo, I'm turning it into one of my travelogue creatures. He'll be in the deep forest, dark... with beams of light just making it through the trees. either that or I'll go insane and stick him on a cliff or something. I dunno. We'll see. Got another one I"m doing too... wonder which one I'll do first?

as always finished images go on :iconmistressofspam

Made in Painter and Photoshop.

UPDATE in 03-02-2007: As I'm a target to art thiefs, I'm changing the file for one with a smaller size and a larger watermark.
Doing this, I know visitors can't see the details, but is to try to prevent problems.
