lay their grief, upon my face
treasure, crystal jewels contrast
their cold snow, silhouette, against my skin
I gaze at these incredible skies
where stars bloom
hand in hand with the evening moon
the weather is changing I feel it my bones
I don't care... I dare it I'll wait for you,
standing in this moist of tears and violets
beneath the same nocturnal shades
and yesterday forgotten fields
In the arms of this premature winter fall
I know, you will come
with a green freshness dancing in the eyes
and the warmness golden sun on your fingers
I don't want church papers or their vows
only your love and trust
and the white bridal crown
that now, lies frozen on the ground
I'll settle for this fair ring
beside your black wing
I'll wait for the blow of the new coming wind
arriving with Spring

for scribbled languages of our own
when we felt it in the air, and in the electricity
of when he looked at me
and the lyrics of all-too-perfect songs
that i wished i could sing someday.
then like that splintering moment
when you realise that you have dreamt this dream before...
we were sparks in the silver winter, and something of a shooting star;
miles above the earth
and he was the only thing that kept my fires burning.
because he was my safety, my belonging,
familiarity and mystery
all in one.
he was growing up, and
he was the lyrics that i will scatter like sugar crystals

and i could have spent every hour of my waking day with him,
every hour of sleep-filled night and
still lie gazing at his turned face
as if it were the face of everything.
i could have wasted
time with him

at first light
come forth to greet you -
words that enter the window
to never leave .
They make holes
in the dawn
and stir the sheets so gently
you can smell
morning cling to his back
and you believe
that his body
can blot out
dresses your hopes,
those small shapes
and his kisses
you don't know
where you begin
to open the door.
So you plead mercy
and let his hands
do the walking,
wishing the day
would fade into the walls -
and that his whispers
just like the life
on your pillows...

Her small, fragile form eagerly ready for him.
He- the lord of the shadows;
the one who keeps her company.
He steps into her mind.
His silver smile cutting through the shadows-
A blissful dagger in the darkness of her soul.
He clutches her to his body,
Lightly pressing her lonely lips to his.
Shyly she smiles whilst his hands caress her face.
"I love you" says the girl.
He smirks at her.
"You know I'm not real my dear" says he
She sighs "It's yet another dream isn't it?"
The man nods and melts away into the shadows,
And she, is left alone,
in a solemn embrace with loneliness.
The only embrace she's ever known...

There is power within each of us to change the world. Scoff if you must, if you are afraid to believe, but it remains true. Because worlds are as big as we live them.
I live mine in grand fashion, yet still my world is nothing compared to some. My daughter's world, that of my sons, are even smaller yet, but their happiness is of the utmost importance to me. I try to be a positive impact, a meteor of safety and love, into their universe daily. Hourly.
The painful truth, one you can't run from, is this:
you are a world changer with a word.
you are a world changer by deed.
you are a world changer with your laugh, your smile or your frown.
you are a world changer by who you love, who you let inside and who you keep at arm's length.

We remember when you divided and shaped us, but we forgive you. We were without form and the people had need of us.
We remember when you put us in flames, but we forgive you. We were soft and the people had need of us.
We recall the day when you sent us against swords. This we forgive. The people had need of us: we would not desert them when foes were near.
We remember when you broke us with hammers. Even this we forgive. The battle was won, and the people had no more need of us.
But though shattered, we remained on the hillside, for no people came to sweep the shards away. This too we forgive, for our eyes remained littering the ground and it allowed us to see.
We saw you crowned and we rejoiced though our own heads were shattered. We saw rings on your fingers and we applauded though our own hands were lost. We saw robes on your shoulders and we were glad, though our o

He said it was beautiful as he sat there and looked at me with those eyes from beneath that elegant mask. All he could say was that it was beautiful, and I believed him.
The Earl was not one for exaggeration, so when I found him knocking furiously on my door that early morning and going on about how wonderful it was, I couldnt help but be intrigued.
The Court had many an interesting diversion within its walls, and there was so much to wet our appetites here, but this was something else, something that I heard many a whisper about in the last couple of weeks, about the Box. Since it had arrived here it seemed that whoever visited that room never returned the same again, and today I was finally going to see what all this damnable fuss was about.
I had partaken in my fair share of the Courts delights since coming here all those years ago, as such an innocent soul. And it brought a smile

in the velveteen night, holding me in
it's a trap but I don't mind, I am fine,
as long as you are here...
The ellipses of stars however don't stop
coming and going, magic spiders weaving
lightening the darkness with their soft radiance
menacing, the membrane of my skyline
I watch your face sleeping on my pillow
your dreaming, wearing mine
the dawning arrives from the deep
wanting the morning
This sudden feeling, steals my insomnia
chilling my skin, standing, a ghost inside... growing
a tear hides itself in the corner guarding the realm
waiting for your awakening
You're bathing, fresh water is running
and the scent of mint aftershave fills my breath
the first buzzing alarm is quickly silenced
and I hold the door that keeps gaining colour
I hear the calling, but I'm not moving
- Get ready, my darling, there's a storm coming.
The half light catch your angel eyes smiling
I can't help it, the clock keeps turning
Crystal clear, laughing
- You seem

Orchards of feathery foliage tints the dark night
where winged creatures love and dream, long after twilight
with quiet, little white larks sleeping in their hearts
jewelled skies break... the universe ends… the universe starts
shaking the gleaming blue galaxies from its silken skins
the sound of silence, behind eyelashes invades and wins
weaving porcelain soul-birds out from the rain
they look like solitary river pearls... so sad,
replacing the infinite tears... so mad...
The brilliant cloak drops off losing its heavenly feathers
regardless of torments or other forsaken weathers
revealing a hand pointing to nowhere, pleading to no one...
so alone... so very inhumanly alone...
bringer of the winter and the wind
poems are crystallized beneath my shifted wing
like the sorrows behind the crows
following me as shadows.
My Nimbus stays
my brighter side and
my shadowed side
which is more or less human
is never revealed,

You're my soil and I'm your tree.
My roots move deeper,
slowly grow into you.
I take a life from you
and give you confidence, safety, firmness.
Tie you and tightly hold in embrace,
tear you from inside with my roots
and you can't escape.
My wide trunk is on you the full weight.
I feel moisture from depth,
vibrations from deep ground.
I grown in you...
I'm your tree and you're my soil.
