This was a commission I did that was colored by . The colors are awesome and totally not like what I would have done, they're much cooler. Big thanks to him for killing it.
This is actually only like the second time anyone's ever colored one of my drawings. If anyone else is interested in doing something like that you know... let me know... because that would be really cool.
In his tank-like Batmobile. Thinking that it could have been made into a movie just drives me crazy Now is my take on the Dark Knight Joker starring Christopher Walken : Maybe you might be interested to see my speedy goth batman here
Another SFX illo. When Batman Begins was being made, they (well, the ever wonderful Nick Setchfield) decided it'd be cool to see what the comic strip version (of the movie of the comic-- keeping up?) would be like if it'd come out in the 1970s. So I drew using the old DC banner logos and 'aged' the art so it looked like it was a real comic of the time... I was Neal Adams for a day!
This would make a good animated series! It would be mostly based on Grant Morrison's run on "Batman and Robin," but with more interactions with the rest of the Bat Family, and time traveling Terry Mcginnis (similar to Trunks' role in DBZ).
I did this a few years ago. The style was based more on the homage the 1997 animated series did of Frank Miller's, The Dark Knight Returns. I love the purity of Black & White illustration. The high contrast stuff Frank did for Sin City was inspiring. See the updated version of this piece here: DK Revisited
