An elven chick I've made up. Everytime I play video games, I always get ideas of what my ideal game would be. This here is what I'd thought up for one of the main characters. I don't remember if I've named her or not but she's got a twin brother would be the other playable character. I haven't finished him yet.
Originally the tattoes on her arms and legs were just some designs on clothes, but I decided she needed some more tattoes. Good idea? Bad?
You can, er, probably tell my fav color by this. I've tried a different way of shading a bit. I still have no clue how people do those really detailed and awesome shading and lighting to their pics.
Lineart, main colors and background done in Manga Studio. Shading done in Adobe PhotoDelux. lol, I know...the background is lame. I have no clue how people manage to do really awesome backgrounds as well.
this blue elf is mine, please no stealing, thankie
I had this Idea for some time now and I decided to redo it, so here's the results:
This new story is about several Lupe commandos (not to be confused with the DEC troopers) that are highly specialized Lupe troopers that are called into life risking missions that requires stealth and ability to expand their missions if need be. Also (even though they are robotic organisms that grows like a living neopet) they have a more independent mind than most of their regular trooper brethrens as they can come up with their own names.
Specs about a lupe Commando: The armour: The commandos wear highly speciallized armour that can withstand a medium laser cannon shot at a direct hit called the Karatan Armor. It can also heal the wearer of minor wounds and has body shield that can help secure a commandos survival percentage higher if the commando was hit at point-blank range. The suit is also fitted for Zero-G enviroments, and can adapt to a variety of enviroments the mission calls for. The suit also can conceal a Vibroshock blade if the commando is forced t use melee attacks.
The helmet: The helmet is also one of the very important gear a commando would need to do a mission. The helmet can protect the head from flying shrapnel/debris. It can also link up to the weapon a wearer is using and can give a gunsight for higher accuracy. Plus the helmet has a comlink headset that can be removed for external uses and an also be used for private conversations. Just like the suit, the helmet is also adaptable to any enviroment and has different mode settings for different purposes.
The weapons: The commando's weapon, the LC-28A battle variancy Blaster is a light-weight, low profile, Plasma fed, auto laser blaster that is compact but still can unload multiple blaster rounds of plasma in just a few seconds and can be steadied for accuracy, it can also provide a gunsight for the users helmet or can be externally viewed from it's sights. The special thing about this blaster is that it can be used for a variety of jobs, like sniping, demo, and Angle shots. The weapon also employs a flash light for improved sight for dark areas. A comando can hold up to 8 (80 rounds) blaster clips, 6 (6 rounds) Meta-Ion plasma clips, and 6 rounds of High Implosion Fragmentation Rocket grenades.
In this picture is a squad of Lupe commandos that are awaiting evac by the Neopian Assault Ship "Protector" near Kiko Lake island.
Plus the looks were inspired by Republic Commando but this one has a whole different story line.
The latest in my line of work for the LlamaLAN ([link]) organisers!
I seem to enjoy enslaving myself to challenging projects, and so decided to draw multiple posters for the latest event - LlamaLAN IX. You can find out the thinking behind the concepts in this series by reading my latest journal post ([link]).
This one's a bit creepy. As this series progresses, so do the featured llama's cyborg modifications. LlamaLAN 5's tag line was 'The Phantom Llama', and was also the first LAN poster with all original artwork. The character was based on the Phantom of the Opera, but all we saw of him was a cloak drawn across half of his face. Funnily enough, the phantom character had the beginnings of a Terminator/Borg like implant over one eye, so his modifications were already halfway there some years ago. So, here he enjoys far more exposure and a way cooler gun stolen from Team Fortress 2's spy class.
The other much larger chap never had his own poster. Time escaped me and all I managed to get done for LlamaLAN 6 was a t-shirt. The tagline was "Lords of the Sixth", and so I drew a pair of eyes on a furry face with a red lightsaber held before them, the letters VI a part of the blade. So he also gets to enjoy a far more greater role. Sadly, not his own poster, but he'll have to live with it. Due to the aggressive nature of the Star Wars Universe's Sith persona, he gets lumbered with the TF2's Heavy Weapons Guy minigun.
I have to admit I think these posters are getting better with each new release, but that may just be exitement of finishing a new one.
TF2 character designs and weapons are copyright to Valve Software. LlamaLAN and its logo are copyright to LlamaLAN.
I wasn't always like this, the events of life just hit me hard. I could have been just one young doe, I should have been just one fragile young woman who only asked to love and be loved. I betrayed the spirit of my kind, I committed the first blood in this Great War. I saved my sister that way, I even saved my kind. But none can kill and not be affected by this sin. I could have rebuild myself, I could have saved myself but I didn't and I won't. I chose to give my soul to the nation, to protect my kind. I will sacrificed myself to protect my kind. I will continue my path. I will be unstoppable. I will be merciless. I will be sharp.
I oddly had the desire to try something. I drew the Rabbi in Israel in 1948, shortly after independence. I figured I sketch him up as part of the Pal'Machnik of the Portzim Battalion along the 'Burma Road' towards Jerusalem.
Taking on the Arab legions and Egyptian Army, that ragtag bunch , part of the "Negev Beasts" who raided commando style using jeeps ALA the Rat Patrol. Yes, he's armed with a German made K-98 Mauser, how ironic a twist is that? using the weapons that a former enemy used against you.
Sort of a history twist I put the Rabbi in.
I also did this after I had somebody pitch a fit over some far lesser art of Andy Rooney being declared 'racist'. I was about to pull the art to shut the whiner up, but rethought it and kept it up. I'm tired of whiners pitching a fit over political correctness.
The Ninjaz! The secret weapon of the rebels! They're fast, silent, and kick-ass! How will the 50last ever get past them? No, really. How will they? There's nothing in the manual about fighting ninjas, much less Ninjaz!
