This is my first ever full digital painting. Whew, what a learning experience this was.

The idea:

I have always wondered how the Ewoks felt about the many casualties visited on their small moon by The Empire. So many dead--entire families, erased by evil.

What if, then, there were Force-sensitive Ewoks somewhere on the planet?

What if, in his grief and anger, one of those Force-sensitive Ewoks began to find the power of hate through the Force?

What if, in the back of his mind, a voice called to him, promising that he could have the power he desired--to strike back at those who had destroyed his life--his mate, his children, his village?

Traveling to a dark abandoned temple in a forbidden shadowy glade, he finds a Sith Holocron--the final epitaph of a long-lost Dark Lord--the voice that has called him here.

This is the story if Krikksaa, Ewok Dark Side Force User.

And he will use his hatred and power to cut down as many of The Empire's lackeys as he can...or die trying.

SHADOWS OF ENDOR.

*No, there's no such book, movie or comic book. I just like the idea, so I decided to make it my first digital painting. I even made the logo. Super fun.

Randomly influenced by Ralph McQuarrie's cover for the novel Splinter of the Mind's Eye as well as the Great Owl from the animated film "The Secret of Nimh".

Enjoy...

Venator-class Star Destroyer, was hanged in my SW-ships wall gallery. April/May 2006. Even for that time, I think it's a little bit crappy.

-The last words of a Clone Trooper with nothing left to lose.

Whenever I draw Grievous, he's always more similar to the version of him seen in the original Clone Wars miniseries (masterminded by Gendy Tartakovski), in which he was an invincible, 10 foot tall, Jedi killing demon.

Edit 4/4/12: Check out the amazing coloring that :iconryfusd: did with these lines! [link]

As usual, I'm open for commissions: [link]

*Disclaimer Update*: Though I am deeply honored with the comments that may or may not have been made along with the many people that favorited this picture and others, I want to make this perfectly clear, I DID NOT DRAW THIS PICTURE. The other pictures that hold this *disclaimer* are screenshots of the Star Wars Old Republic Timeline in which these events, Revan and KOTOR, were mentioned. I never claimed ownership of this picture nor have I ever claimed that I had drawn it. I am flattered that you all may have thought I did but I did not. I simply screen captured the pic and enhanced it a bit to make it look clearer for submittion. I simply intended to innocently share these "Revan" pictures with anyone that enjoys them as much as I do in preperation for the newest Star Wars PC RPG, "Star Wars Old Republic." I apologize for any confusion. Thank You,
Dantes939

I do not own the rights to Revan, OR Star Wars. Copyrights belong to BioWare and LucasArts.
