The Sixth Rover - Part 1The Sixth Rover - Part 1The Sixth Rover - Part 12 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
It's been eleven days since the Road Rovers took a small vacation, as after their last encounter with General Parvo or any other of their enemies for that matter, they haven't heard from any of them since.
The story begins as a young Welsh Corgi opens his eyes to the unthinkable, the corgi gazed up and down, left and right. He surprisingly gasped as he could see his paws, now turned into hands similar to that of a human being. He was wearing an armor with shoulder plates and a red collar. Soon after, he stared at his "feet", amazed with what his eyes were showing him. He took one step, and walked in circles for a few seconds, then he tried to run. He was amazed with
what he was feeling.
Young Corgi: [Surprised] (This is amazing... I can walk... I can run... I can... wait... am I talking... I... I'm talking... I can talk too... What happened... Where am I...? What am I doing here?)
A few moments later, a bright light surprised the young cor

The Rovers returned to their HQ, Colleen, Shag, Muzzle and Hunter were recovering from their wounds. Exile was shocked with what happened.
Soon after, Cory attempted to contact the master with his collar to make sure he was safe and sound.
Cory: [Worried] Master! Are you okay!? Please awnser!
Master: I'm alright, Cory, don't worry.
Blitz and Exile were relieved that the master was appearently safe and sound.
Cory: Thank god you're okay, master...
Afterwards, Cory let Blitz explain everything to the master. He was quite shocked with the news.
Master: [Worried] ...Well, at least it's good to know their injuries aren't as severe as you thought... Still, this isn't any ordinary cano-mutant we're dealing with... It's my fault... I should have never ordered you to go to those islands... Otherwise they...
Cory: No, don't blame yourself, master... None of it is your fault...

The Rovers managed to land their aircraft. However, because of their attack earlier, the landing wasn't very pleasent. But on the bright side, it was still working properly and the Rovers were safe and sound.
Hunter: Well... that was a hell of a landing...
Colleen: Hunter... Next time, I'll fly the plane...
Cory: Ugh... Exile, Blitz, Shag... You guys okay?
Blitz: I'm... I'm alright...
Cory: Well, at least we're all okay. That's a good thing...
Suddenly, Exile patted on Cory's head.
Exile: You're not only brave... but you're crazy too, partner...
Cory: Oh... you mean... well, sorry if I made you guys worry. I just wanted to make myself useful...
Exile: [Silent] ... (Cory...)
Hunter: Well, the base is this way... Wonder what Parvo could be up to...?
Afterwards, the Rovers walked on toward the hidden base, to

The Rovers returned to the base at Blitz's request. Colleen, Hunter, Exile and Shag had noticed that Blitz's behaviour had changed dramatically, standing with a serious, and worried look on his face. Cory tried to ask him what was happening.
Hunter: So... why did you ask us to come back...?
Cory: Blitz... Okay, I can tell you're hung up on something... Please tell us.
Colleen: Just spit it out! what's going on?
Blitz: ...Everyone... I have something to tell you... It's...
Exile: Is it about what we saw at the lab?
A few moments later, before Blitz could explain anything, the Rovers recieved a call from the Master through their collars.
Master: Rovers. Heed closely what I'm about to tell you. Intelligence has informed me that General Parvo hired an assassin, and it seems like you are it's targets...
The whole team gasped.

The group of Rovers ventured into the unusual underground entrance in that tiny island. Meanwhile, on the other side of the small island, Hunter, Colleen and Shag begin to talk as they walk.
Colleen: Was it really a good idea to leave Cory with Blitz?
Hunter: He'll be fine, Exile's with them... Don't you get tired of bad mouthing Blitz.
Colleen: What? don't tell me you're defending him now.
Hunter: Well, I didn't say that.
Colleen: [Silent] ...
Hunter: What I meant was... You don't really hate him, do you? Blitz, I mean.
Colleen: [Angry] What kind of question is that?
Hunter: Calm down, Colleen... I just asked you a small question. Sure, I agree with you that Blitz has a few screws loose, but you don't really HATE hate him, do you?
Colleen: Of course I don't hate him! At least not like that! It's just that I don't like his attitude. He always acts like a spoiled puppy!
