My Completed the Entry for the Eve Online contest, submission 1, the Amar Savior Recon Battlecruiser. The Savior is based upon the hugely sucessful Prophecy Class Battlecruisers, with more of an emphasis on Recon and ECW systems. The front wing vanes act as a cloaking field and sensor jammer projectors for the ship. An variant of the Savior exists, known as the Templar Assault Battlecruiser. Images of that ship will be posted soon.
My attempt at drawing a space battle ship. All six views were done traditionally with drawing pens on paper. The seventh rendered view was coloured traditionally with watercolor. Fonts were later added digitally. Wish me luck!
The Samalah, once a derelict hulk floating through the far reaches of space. Now salvaged and repurposed as a pirate carrier. Much of it's outer hull has broken apart giving it a fractured appearance though, its integrity remains despite this. It measures nearly 1000m in length.
It's suspected this vessel used to be much larger but due to the damage and age of the ship the exact size or shape cannot be determined.
Not my actual EVE submission but something like this
This is my Battleship submission to the Starship competition.
This is now the FINAL version.
Well this looks like a Caldari Battleship. You can fit a full compliment of either guns and missiles launchers.. and has many bonuses like 100% increase to torp & cruise missile damage & 80% increase to shield hardeners etc.
I was worried that the Caldari had used all the bird of prey names but lucky there was a couple left. Lammergeier - a huge bird , a vulture, and feeds mostly on dead animals and apparently it drops fresh carcass bones on rocky ground from on high to feed on the marrow
The name Lammergeier literally means 'Lamb Catcher'.
Anyway, I love the ship I've made (wish I could upload the sketchup file for the competition too, not because of detail but because its always better to see the whole thing than just shots I hope to see it in game.
For the CCP contest version (which is updated a little bit to show some additional details and the added side drone bays though the ship is in a different light and setting): [link]
It's finally finished...My baby is up and flying, her crew ready and able so to speak. It's been fun working on it I hope there will be more contests like this cuz I love making starships
It's a shame that we're only allowed 7 views in one image, I wish I could pin some more shots to show some more details like the tiny tech lights in the section cracks and the bridge superstructure etc etc.
SO as you can see it has headlights... probably not that cool but I figured...what the heck, space is dark
