Commander Cody turned the Captain's helmet in his hands. It has smoke residue all over it, from the explosion more or less. Cody slowly bowed his head, placing Rex's helmet up to his, forehead to forehead.
"What happened to your head?"
"What? I can't shave my head?" Rex laughed.
Cody shook his head," Just looks weird.."
"You laugh at me for being different, I laugh at you for being the same!" Rex chuckled.
Cody smirked and went back to fixing his comm.
Anakin watched the commander mourn. He could feel the man's shock and pain over the death of his brother. Anakin looked down. He would miss his Captain. The man had always been by his side, even when Anakin had not returned that favor.
He hadn't even heard how it happened yet. The young general debated in his head if he should ask Cody. But he didn't want to bother the clone now. With guilt Anakin realized Ashoka didn't even know yet. He wasn't looking forward to telling her.

"Heard she used to be a Jedi back in the day. That's why I'm here. I was hoping to talk her about well about my father." The young man liked to get right to the point. If he was going to bulid the new Jedi Order, he would need help.
"What's your name?"
"My name is Luke Skywalker. I am Anakin Skywalker's son."
"Alright, you can give it a try, but you should know she doesn't talk much anymore." Rex was a little hesident. He had heard rumors about Anakin having a child, but that's all he had ever thought they were. Just rumors. But there was something about this young man, that reminded him of Skywalker, even though it was such a long time ago.
"Thank you." Luke said in return. Rex watched as he started talking to the girl. He heard mention of Anakin. The girl smiled slightly. Her eyes were filled with saddness and fear.

The smell of blossoms filled his nose as he lay there upon the grass, twisting strands of it through his finger. Someday he might be right.
Though I doubt our survival.
Trapped and shackled
On an alien world.
I'm not afraid to die,
So it's time for the home truths.
Yes they hurt.
They burn inside.
Because they'll never become true.
Never will forbidden love,
Be allowed to fly like an angel.
Me and Anakin are fated to die.
But he seems to think not now.

In your history,
Where we once were.
Everything in your life,
Ends up dead or worse.
Your evil behaviour,
The way that you act so mean.
Starting when you were choking me.
I thought you were savable.
But now ten years on,
I can stop and smile.
My tears stopped falling.
Because I see so well.
You missed the go back sign,
Failed to speak to Yoda on time.
Killed innocent younglings,
And so many more.
You're public menace number one.
Living life as a fool.
You go about the wrong way,
Guess that was my warning card.
Because though that I loved you.
Situation turned cold,
And I'm a ghost and you're half dead.
So in your dreams where you can't escape.
I whisper the words,
That will make you hate me.
I speak the truth.
Your life is quite a nightmare.
Your behaviour unacceptable.

She ran. The white flashes of the corridor walls flashing by her, the light streaming in through each crack in the windows that followed her, lightning areas of the marble floor. She skidded across the wet floor that had just been cleaned by a cleaner droid and fell to the floor, crying out in pain as she stubbed her toe against the wall. Picking herself up Ahsoka turned round to see no one following her 'Must have lost him' she thought to herself gleefully as she walked down the corridor towards the archives. From behind her, where just seconds ago she had turned to see no one there a shadow appeared, tall, dark, mysterious. He spotted her and came running towards her, in his hands were a pair of binders. Ahsoka turned just in time to feel the warm hands slip round her wrists, the hot breath on her face and the feeling of the binders snap onto her delicate wrists.

Clone Wars belongs to Lucas.*sarcasm* (who else would it belong to?)
Story from my own thoughts and mind/ Fives's
Don't be mad if I cry
It just hurts so bad sometimes
'Cause everyday it's sinking in
And I have to say goodbye all over again
I can't believe you're really gone Echo. I miss you brother. It's been a week since you died and I still have a hard time accepting it. Tell Hevy, Cutup, and Droidbait I said hi okay? I miss you all everyday. It's pretty lonely back at base without you here rambling about reg. manuals and the latest kit. You always did your best to keep us all in line. Sorry for fussing with you about it all the time. You were always my closest brother though. Remember when we tried to get transferred out of Domino squad? I'm really glad that never happened. I wouldn't trade you guys for anything.
You know I bet it feels good to have the weight of this world off your shoulders now
I'm dreaming of the day when I'm finally there with you.

I withdrew my hand and hung my head ashamedly. "Echo I-"

"But I shouldv'e-"
"Fives, shut up."
I smiled at the familiar rebuke, though I was usually the one to tell him to shut up.
"I missed you Echo." I hugged my brother.

She glanced back at the clones. All of them were inexperienced rookies, sent on the mission since their leaders seemed to think they would gain experience chasing off a group of pirates who were terrorizing the local spice farmers.
"Getting kind of dark," Fives complained. Not counting Rex, he was the only non-rookie.
Ahsoka sensed a disturbance in the Force. There was something big ahead of them but the thick foliage and the darkness hid it from view. She held up her hand, halting the clones. "Rex and I will go forward, the rest of you stay back here with Fives."

Part 1- The droid general
Count Dooku walked down the long metallic corridors of the Separatist base in Utapau with a certain amount of sophistication in his step. He wore his usual black Sith attire complete with his flowing brown cloak. His finely polished black boots tapped off the ground with a loud metal clank. He arrived at the grey door leading to the council chambers. Two Pau'an guards stood at either side.
"My lord!" one said with a gracious bow. Dooku stepped forward and the door opened, he entered the circular room which over looked the newly created arena of Utapau. Two Pau'an warriors and a Gamorrean were fighting against a large Reek for the amusement of the Separatist council who were seated around the enormous round table. The lean figure of Asajj Ventress stood away from everyone else, cloaked in shadow. Dooku sat on the throne in the centre of the chairs around the table.
"I am glad you could all attend" Dooku said to the council with a pleasant smile
Part I: Another Clone Rex had little training in flying an actual star ship but that was the least of his concerns. He needed to get as far from Appo as possible. Just as he had predicted, Appo came after him accompanied by two newly installed "TIE Fighters". The fighters began to fire and Rex immediately began to twist and turn to avoid the blasts. Rex could see Appo was closing in, sticking tight to him with every bend. His blood was pumping through his veins. He started to sweat as the nerves began to settle in. At once, Appo bombarded Rex with blasts snapping Rex right back into reality. Rex swiftly spun the star ship to the left and shut off the thrusters; nearly running into one of the TIE Fighters in pursuit of him. Through all this, he was extremely irritated. His heart was beating so fast, he could hardly breath. He tried to relax himself but he found he was incredibly uneasy. We were walking, down white sterile halls.
"You haven't lived up to what we designed you to be."
We were walking slowly.
"I can still fight! I'm still of use! General tell them I'm still of use!"
Walking behind us two forms. One tall, one small.
Who are they?
"This way please."
"No! I can still fight!" I was pleading now. "Please general please!"
We entered another white room. A chair in the middle.
"Have a seat clone" The tall form said.
I don't recognize them.
"You won't need your armor anymore. I'll give it to your replacement." The small form said.
Straps, restraint. I fought.
"Please! I can still fight!"
"Shut up clone." The tall one said. "You're not of any use to me anymore."
Who is this man?
A needle coming closer.
Thrashing. "Sirs! Please!" Tears rolled. "PLEASE!"
"Please sirs I'm begging you! Stop this! I can still fight! I'm still useful! Please don't terminate me! Sirs!!"
White, sterile, clean.

The sky, he thought, had never been so blue and only now as he lay helpless on his back did he appreciate the true color it and wondered why he had never taken the time to notice it before now. Captain Rex felt the sun shining on his face, his helmet lay on the ground next to him. General Skywalker, or Anakin as he had demanded that Rex start to call him, knelt on the hard ground next to where he lay, lightsaber still ignited and a look of worry crossing his face. Rex could tell his lips were moving, but from the concussive force of the grenade that had gone off nearby, his ears were still ringing and he felt as though his limbs were made of heavy lead.
And what was that smell?
Rex's eyes grew wide as he finally recognized the smell and he tried to turn his head to see where it was coming from. It was the smell of parched and seared plastoid armor and, and..... blood.
