This is my Fianc, DarkSnip3r's, Nightingale cosplay from the Theives Guild quest line in Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. He's debuting this costume at PAX East and plans on doing a photoshoot in the following weeks.

We'll also be hoping to put a write up on how we completed this armor in a few weeks on Assassionista.com. Stay tuned!

Dovahkiin made and modeled by me. Axe and shield made by my very talented friend Daniel Kim.

Armor is the Banded Iron Armor, Iron Helmet, Iron Shield and Ancient Nord War Axe from Skyrim.

I'm really happy to finally get to show my Elder Scrolls love through a costume.

Sheila as Karliah (Nightingale Armor) from the Elder Scrolls: Skyrim

Stunning photos by :iconordinaryriches:

I'm going to try and make this description without any arrow in the knee or sweetroll jokes. XD

It feels good to put up photos of this costume. Definitely one of our bigger projects and one of the most exciting. And my first experience with full covering face paint.

The entire 'leatherwork' of the armor is actually all just craft foam. If you want to find out the in depth process on how it was made, click here: [link]

There will definitely will be much more to come for this costume! See you at Phoenix ComiCon & Anime Expo!

Sheila as Karliah (Nightingale Armor) from Skyrim; The Elder Scrolls Series

THIS COSTUME IS NOT FINISHED.

But once it is, I will also darken my face and wear elf ears -- the whole shibang.

We don't post a ton of WIPs on our Deviantart, but once and awhile we take on a big costume project like this one, and WIPs sound like a good idea. :)

So just like our Hawke & Fenris WIPs, we present to you our progress on Karliah.

The seal, cape clasps, skirts, shoulder & leg armor all need to be finished. And the bow and arrows need to be made.

This costume will be finished and photo-shooted next week! And it will debut at PCC 2012 and Anime Expo 2012 (Maybe PAX Prime 2012, if we can swing it).

Yay I finally finished everything! I redid and added a bunch of stuff since I last wore it at ALA '12.
Unfortunately we got to the shoot location late and didn't get all the shots we wanted, so we're going to go back again for another shoot. We did get a few keepers though, so expect more.
