--Description-- Antiqued brown holster Etched brass plate Right handed Full sized replica engraved army .45 revolver
-Holster- The holster is made from 8-9oz veg tan leather and finished with antiqued brown dye. The holster is a 1 piece design that is folded over in 2 places (once along the barrel to make the holster, and once at the top, making the backing loop) like many holster designs from the "wild west". This style uses a 1 buckle and strap design to hold the backing loop down. It come with a leather lace which ties around the leg to keep the holster from "flopping around" while walking if desired. This design will make the guns handle just above the belt. It can be work on gun belts (available on my retail website) for a low slung, gunfighter look. I have also added to belt loops slots at an angle on the back to allow it to be worn as a cross draw holster on a standard 1 1/2" belt as an option. Holster is design for a right handed draw. This special edition holster has an etched brass plate on the front with a scroll work design based on engravings of the era. The etching was hand drawn by me, and transferred to the brass plate using an electrochemical etch.
-Colt .45 Army Revolver (ENGRAVED) - Black and gold with detailed engraving and wood grips. It's overall length is 9 1/2" and comes with the short barreled holster. The Single-Action Army Revolver was produced in several forms and many calibers from 1872 to 1940, with production totaling about 350,000 pieces. As its introduction coincided with the settlement of the Wild West, the names Peacemaker and Frontier Six-Shooter were popularized. Although most were produced for the military, some civilian versions were beautifully engraved at the factory. This non-firing version replicates a gold-inlaid piece and has a functional lock mechanism, with a revolving cylinder and working ejector system.
Here she is, the first incarnation of my Native American-inspired steampunk ensemble. I made quite a bit of it and even thrifted a few pieces just to get the right mix of new, used, and downright abused. I had some help getting materials from my sewing master Tawny and my part-time boss Morgan, who makes steampunk leather accessories.
It was primarily inspired by Eastern Woodlands (Anishinaabe/Potawatomi in particular, whom I'm descended from) warriors from the late 18th and early 19th centuries.
I know it seems lazy, but I've done a full breakdown of the outfit for those curious on my blog- Multiculturalism for Steampunk: [link] (yep, I do that too. I wear a lot of different feathery hats).

Here is a great addition for frontier and adventurer characters. The Western Gun Belt is based on historical designs from the American wild west. The belt is 2 1/2" wide with a 1 1/2" wide tongue and buckle on the front. There are bullet loops on the back in your choice of size, and with or without dummy ammo. Both sides of the belt are open to allow a holster to be worn on the left, right or both for a gunfighter look. Works great with the Replica Revolvers and Holster Sets! (Holsters sold separately.)
20 .45 Colt pistol bullets (brass or silver)-- $88.00 24 .38 caliber pistol bullets (brass or silver)-- $88.00 EMPTY Belt Loops in your choice of size-- $68.00
The .45 caliber belts have 20 bullets on the back, and the .38 caliber belts have 24 bullets on the back. (Note: some of the smallest waist sizes may require leaving off a few bullet loops to allow room for holsters. Please contact me for details on small sizes.) All bullets are NON FIRING and have no powder or primer. For empty bandoliers, please specify caliber. The number of loops will depend on the size of the shells.
The leather is a durable 8 oz. veg tan, and can be finished in your choice of color. Hardware is available in both brass and silver. Comes with roller bar buckle which is removable via 2 snaps to swap out with other standard 1 1/2" buckles if desired.
