I forgot about this one! I meant to post it along with the other fanart I did with Florence, but it just slipped my mind until now. I actually drew this a long, long time ago, well before the one of her in the maid outfit. Ecosystems Unlimited is the company that genetically engineered Flo's species, so it only stands to reason they'd like to show off her... um... system specs. I'm sure they'll have lots of detailed... anatomical references inside, along with a two-page fold-out... diagram pointing out her... features.
Flo is a character owned by Mark Stanley. Freefall the webcomic can be located here: [link]
Oops, looks like someone forgot to tell Natani how Renamon dresses.
Heh, yeah yeah, Renamon is the biggest cliché ever. I know. I couldn't help myself, though. She's the only character I could think of that had a costume without anything covering the torso, so the joke would work. The white on her fur is paint, and part of the costume.
Here's the holiday pic from the comic, moved here since it's been replaced on the homepage. Hm... I feel like I should say something about it, but it's just the usual pin-up holiday art. To be honest, I really wanted to draw something else besides the regular fan-service, but unfortunately I just couldn't think of anything to draw. It came out alright in the end, though, I think.
Hope you liked it, in any case, and had a happy Christmas, New Years, or holiday season in general - whichever is your personal preference! Now to herald in the year of the Rabbit, the zodiac sign I happen to have been born under.
I made this because I hadn't drawn in a long time and needed something new to put up as an incentive. The background was completely last minute - I had finished an image of Flora lying down and then realized I had no settings. So I pulled 'beach' out of a hat and painted it. Other than that, there isn't much to say about this... oh, except I did enjoy experimenting with the hair a bit.
Looks like Kat got into the make-up, and decided to try out some nail polish... with mixed results. Still, she seems happy with her accomplishment. Personally, I don't normally consider any kind of make-up on an anthro character to look very good, but... well, this is for the cute effect more than anything else. Though you can't see it, the polish matches her paw color.
Honestly, I'm not sure where this came from. xD I just noticed someone on the forums with an avatar that had Evals wearing glasses, which made me think of hippies, and this is what resulted from that. As a person born in the late 80's, I have never experienced hippies first-hand. However, I've always felt like I would have been one, had I grown up in an earlier time. I'd probably be best described as a modern day hippie in a lot of respects, so you might consider this an homage to them.
Hm, I forgot about this piece. Might as well upload it as well. This drawing was completely just an excuse to get the characters into swimsuits. Which is ironic, I suppose, considering they usually wear much less anyway. But as some might say, hinting at sexuality is often more effective then an open display of it. Anyway, enjoy.
Now in color! Since I already posted the sketch, I'll just include the description I used before:
In celebration of the 8th anniversary of Twokinds, I decided to draw a picture of the characters who started it all: Trace, Flora and Keith. In the beginning, these were the only characters I had planned. It might not seem like it today, but originally, these three were going to be in a love triangle. According to the first scripts, Keith and Flora were meant to be involved in a sort of love-hate relationship. This idea was eventually scrapped though, and soon after, Natani was introduced to balance out the group. You can still tell, though, in some of the earlier comics, that Keith was originally supposed to become attracted by her.
Many things have changed since the original inception of the comic. Lots of ideas were being thrown around at the time, and many were scrapped and added along the way, to make up the comic you all know now as Twokinds. Still, it's fun to look back occasionally, and wonder what could have been.
Someone pointed out recently that I draw my characters in bath scenes an awful lot, and I want to make it clear to everyone that this is certainly not due to any perverseness on my part. No, the fact is, I demand the cleanliness of my characters! This is simply an issue of hygiene, and has nothing to do with getting characters in lecherous situations in various states of undress.
Now that this issue has been resolved, enjoy the drawing!
