I was walking back to my cabin when the Stoll brothers stopped me.
"Hey, hey Percy. Can you do us a favor?" Travis asked.
"What." I said coldly. It made them flinch a little.
"Can you go to the gas station down the street and get us some chips? Chiron sort of grounded us to our cabin after a last prank..." Connor said. I nodded and they gave me 5 mortal dollars and a bag of drachma.
"There's 50 in there. Come back with the chips and we'll give you 20 more." They said and walked off.

I was walking back to Camp with the chips when I saw some sprinklers. Should I Iris-Message Annabeth? I wanted to tell her I was sorry...
I shone my flashlight on the mist to make a rainbow and threw a drachma through it.
"Oh Iris, goddess of the Rainbow, accept my offering. Annabeth Chase, Camp Half-Blood."
Then Annabeth appeared. She was crying silently in

"See ya Mom" I waved to her as I started walking uphill to Camp Half-Blood.
"Bye Percy! Say hi to Annabeth and Grover for me, I love you!" She yelled back. I felt my face get hot at the thought of Annabeth... We only saw eachother a few times during the school year but now she's officially my girlfriend.
"Love you." I said back.
When I was halfway up the hill, I broke into a run, losing my patience with how stupidly far Camp was from the rest of the world. When I got to the top, still running, I collided into something so hard, I tumbled all the way back down the hill, with the thing on top of me. I groaned, thinking of having to walk all the way back up.
I opened my eyes and what do you know was on top of me...
"Annabeth!" I yelled covered in smiles, she made my heart flutter.. Don't tell her that.
"Percy!" She yelled back, and kissed me on my cheek. I felt myself blush again.

A Chronicles of Man Short Story
The chime pierced the silence of the flag officer's quarters aboard the Alliance battleship Kilimanjaro, and Vice Admiral Harriet Spencer's azul eyes opened begrudgingly before the chime called again. Sighing, the five foot nine woman rolled to her side and glanced up at the communication panel at her bedside, tapping the glowing accept key and designating voice only. After all, it wasn't right for an admiral to talk to her subordinates while half naked.
"Spencer, go ahead." She said and noted the grogginess of her own voice as she checked the time. Zero two hundred. No wonder she felt like she had just fallen off a sunderhorse.
"Admiral, I don't mean to wake you but we have a situation." Spencer quirked an eyebrow at the voice on the other end. It was Captain Kuritz, Kilimanjaro's CO who, like Spencer,
Finding PercyI was laying under the deck on the cold wooden floor, when all of a sudden a cry alerted me. "Land ahead!" yelled a male voice, and I sat up so fast I almost hit Jason in the forehead. "Sorry," he said, holding out a hand. I gladly took it, and he hoisted me up with his firm grip. Jason handed me an Athena helmet and my dagger. I muttered a thanks as one of the Hephaestus kids said we were getting close. Running up the ladder, I rushed to the bow of the ship, clutching the golden figurehead of Festus, squinting my eyes for land. White pillars bordered the grass, and I recognized shapes moving back and forth in a similar pattern, and realized they were guards. With big weapons.Finding Percy3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
All of a sudden, a big blue flame burst from the top of a pillar directly in front of us, and one by one, each pillar followed suite. Fire was a signal, a way to communicate. I prayed that they were just doing that to get rid of bugs, but of course it was only false hope as I saw the guards rushing up and down th

Without seeing anybody
Breathing hard like
Everyday could be the last
Blood and mud are covering his face
Wounds are all over his body
He's looking for safety
But he's trapped like in a maze
His body seeks rest
But his mind is unstoppable
Motivated by his lost brothers
But pain is sticking like a thorn in his chest
His eyes are full of tears
By seeing all these young men
Laying next to each other
With on their faces their worst fears
Not knowing there will be a tomorrow
He's trying to remind who he was
A son, a father, a brother and a friend
But thinking of his past fills him with sorrow
Pain is stuck in his head
Like the unspoken memories
That keeps replaying in his mind
And chasing him till dead

First, on the issue of people's fursona and the stigma surrounding them. By definition, a fursona is an anthropomorphic character that possesses either one or more traits, physical attributes, beliefs, or personality aspects of the owner of that fursona. Some people's fursona are a representation of these traits, attributes, et cetera, but simply in a more desirable form. Others are happy with just representing these traits as is. Some people's fursona consist of only their bad aspects due to an inner need to deal with their problems (More on this later). Others consist of only good traits so as to highlight these said good points. Some have a mix of good a

Oh here I am standing,
A lost soul is landing.
The coldest December,
Can you still remember?
Do you even hear me?
There's no one around me!
Oh shadow that I see,
The void right behind me.
Yet still I am breathing;
Yet still I am feeling.
The coldest sensation,
Oh worthless creation!
Are you still crying?
Oh why are you lying - abandoned and cold
Cold like what was left of soul,
Made of all the life you stole.
Walk divine but made of sin,
Worm of hatred squrim within.
Sin of lust and sin of pride,
Lash the tongue that last has lied.
Yours was silver with a promise,
Kiss of death and then you vomit.
Burning bile of ugly treason,
No one else can know the reason.
Left a soul behind to burn;
You are the reason I have turned...
On this cold and endless night...
When I'm finally pierced by the light...
And I awaken from this hell...
ALONE - BUT ALIVE!
Alive and again oh do I dare?
To give this heart and to lay it bare.
When heaven cast its fate

"You know sometimes I wish you weren't in my head all the time Caroline." Roy said to his A.I. in his helmet.
"Quit your whining buttercup and get moving, Infiltration team will be at the rendezvous point soon and you're the expert to take down that Covenant structure." She said with a tone.
"Yeah, yeah. You're just like a mother." Roy said getting on his mongoose.
"That's what it feels like sometimes." Caroline said with a sigh. Roy drove his mongoose to the rendezvous along the exploded Covenant vehicle chocked, bomb-crater ridden road. The rendezvous was a staging area for the UNSC forces. When Roy reached the staging area, there were falcons waiting there and so was the infiltration team. The infiltration team was a team of ODSTs waiting outside of one of the falcons. Roy drove his mongoose to the motor pool and took the shotgun off the back of it and put it on his back. From the motor pool he walked to the meeting area were the team of the Odsts was waiting.

And lifted it up without a flinch.
I've carried spiders on my palm,
And giggled as they walk on my bare skin.
I've swung across fifteen foot drops on an old thinning rope,
And laughed the whole way.
I've climbed down steep rocky inclines, hands in my pockets,
And never batted an eye.
I've scootered down steep driveways without touching the brakes,
And returned to the top to do it again.
I've had a knife in my arm, an inch or so deep,
And never shed a tear.
I've stared out glass elevators to see the ground vanish,
And smile as my sisters cower in the corner.
I've dived head first into the pool, hands clasped to my sides,
And climb out to try again.
My sisters think,
I'm not afraid of anything.
When they are afraid,
They come to me to chase
the spiders and the shadows away.
And here I stand on the edge of a dock,
Staring at the deep lake water.
It's no more than ten, fifteen feet,
But I see monsters in the murky depth.
My sisters are waiting.

The drow didn't really photosynthesize of course; that was just Aerie's way of putting it so that even a bufflehead like Imoen could understand. She'd described as almost plant like, but not actually plants. They weren't going to flower or anything. But, they had adapted themselves to survive in space, and one of the ways they'd developed to provide themselves with the energy they needed was to harness light rays, which they could do very efficiently perhaps too efficiently, they hoped. Aerie explained that the drow could survive in Earth's sunlight for a while, but they would soon start to feel sick and need to seek shade. It just went to show that the more complicated the machine, the more that could go wrong with it. Much like Imoen's rifle, which had been accidently reboot and reset to factory settings.

Takes away the happiness of life,
And her genuine smile,

Worn only in front of family and friends.

Banishing her out,
Making her feel as if she is a spectator in her own body
She is devoid of all content emotions:
Happiness, joy, excitement.
Yet the ruthless emotions stay,

Heartbreak, pain, anger, fear
Walking in a vast expanse of darkness,
All she can do is search,

I could actually smile
Without putting on an act for others.
I felt as if there was a meaning to life,
But now there's nothing important enough in my life to live for.
