I'm sorry I haven't been very active in the bento world lately, but that doesn't mean I'm not making them still. I've just been busy with my new job, and all the mess they're putting me through, so I don't have as much time to take photos of them and make them look pretty. I did get this one in though! This will be my lunch for my work day. It contains:

Top Tier:
Japanese Potato Salad
Shiitake Mushroom Risotto Cakes
Green Onion

Bottom Tier:
Steamed Asparagus
Cherry Tomatoes
Karaage Chicken
Honeydew Melon

Sauce:
Ketchup (for risotto cakes)

Today's bento =D

*sweet potato lemon bento*

- white rice onigiri
- fried sweet potato caramelized with sweet soy sauce n crushed peanuts
- fried mini sausages (shaped into tako (octopus) n kani (crab))
- fresh lemon wedge
- raw lettuce
- raw carrot slices
- raw green sprouts seasoned with olive oil, salt n white pepper
- green apple bunny slices
- Hershey's chocolate almond drops

I decided to do two different kinds of onigiri this time. This bento contains:

Top Layer:
Onigiri - Filled with minced smelts
Yaki Onigiri - Covered with Miso
Corn Cob - Covered in shoyu

Bottom Layer:
Hard Boiled Egg
Asparagus and Rotisserie Chicken
Watermelon Wedges
Cucumber
Cherry Tomato
