Anthem is a ooak (one of a kind) kirin sculpture.

He was made from polymer clay over wire and foil. He has a body length of about 6 inches (measured chest to bum) and is about 8 or 9 inches tall to the top of his horns. He was painted in acrylics and his hair is tibetan lamb fur. He has light brown resin eyes that were inset into the clay.

I actually sculpted Anthem a long time ago, right around the same time I made Aphelion. However I was having problems getting his colours right so never finished him. The red and gold looked good in my head but looked ugly when I went to paint it. However when I was working over Christmas I decided to work on him again, and I like how he turned out. I wanted to do a kirin with more oriental-themed colours.

He's been sold. Thanks for looking!

Verdict is a ooak (one of a kind) kirin sculpture, made from polymer clay over a wire and foil armature.

Verdict is about 9 inches tall to the tip of her horns. She is painted in acrylics and has inset resin eyes. Her hair is white tibetan lamb fur. She has a few feathers in her mane and tail too.

The plan at the moment is to bring Verdict with me to Artfest Kingston in July, where she'll be for sale. If she doesn't sell then, she'll go on etsy. :)

If you are interested in a commission, I am going to be taking orders starting May 1st, 2012. Information is here: [link]

Winterlore is a OOAK (one of a kind) unicorn or kirin sculpture. She was completely hand made from polymer clay over a wire and foil skeleton. She was painted in acrylic and her hair is tibetan lamb fur. She is about 8 inches tall.

She is a variation of the chinese unicorn, or kirin, so has more deer-like qualities as well as scales and a lion's tail. When the commissioner described the colour scheme she wanted, the theme of winter just jumped out at me and that's sort of where I went with it. I just wish it was actually winter so I could get some snowy photos.

I particularly like this sculpture's expression, it's really soft and reserved, I think she has a lot more personality than my sculptures usually do.

She was a commission so is not for sale. :) Thanks for looking!

Illiad is a ooak (one of a kind) fantasy kirin sculpture.

Illiad is about 6 inches long from chest to bum, and about 10 inches tall. He was made from polymer clay over a wire and foil armature, then painted in acrylic and haired with tibetan lamb fur. Illiad is based on a Caribou or Reindeer but with changes in anatomy and colouring for more of a fantasy feel. He has scales on his back, feet, and face. He also has slight blue iridescence on his scales and antlers. His eyes are dark brown, made of resin and inset into the clay.

Illiad has been sold already. Thanks for looking!

Etiquette is a ooak (one of a kind) palomino appaloosa draft unicorn sculpture. He was handmade from polymer clay over an armature of wire and foil. He was painted in acrylic and has inset resin eyes.

His hair is Suri Alpaca fiber which is something I don't use too often. It's really pretty but so annoying to work with because the fibers are so fine, they end up all over the place. Etiquette is about 5 inches long from shoulder to bum, and about 9 inches tall to the tip of his horn.

He's not currently for sale; I am going to an art show in a few months and he will be for sale there. If he doesn't sell he'll go on etsy. If you're in the area, the show is called Artfest Kingston, it's in Kingston, Ontario and takes place June 30th, July 1st and July 2nd.

If you're interested, I am currently taking commissions! You can find commission information on my website here: [link] sculptures start at $200.

Rhythm is a ooak (one of a kind) kirin foal sculpture. She is about 8 inches tall. She was made from scratch from polymer clay over wire and foil, and is painted in acrylic. Her hair is tibetan lamb fur and she has inset glass doll eyes.

Rhythm was fun to make... she was a commission, the customer asked her to be white with ice blue and grey highlights. I've never done a foal, let alone a kirin foal, so it was interesting! I like how she ended up, sort of playful yet mischievous.

Rhythm was a commission so isn't for sale. Please check out my facebook page if you are interested in following new work from me! [link]

Arion is a ooak (one of a kind) kirin sculpture. He's made from polymer clay over a wire and foil armature, painted in acrylic and has tibetan lamb fur for hair. He has aqua resin eyes, and his antlers, hooves, and scales are all iridescent silver. He has a body length (chest to bum) of about 6 inches long, and stands about 9 inches tall to the top of his antlers.

Arion was a commission and is not for sale. If you're interested in a commission, I have information on my website here: [link] sculptures start at $200.

Osiris is a OOAK (one of a kind) handmade horse sculpture. He was made from polymer clay over a wire and foil skeleton, and has a mohair mane and tail.

Osiris is one of the smallest sculptures I've done, he's only 3.5 inches from chest to bum and just under 5 inches tall. He is based off a real horse, a dapple grey arabian.

I did post him on her a little while ago but deleted him since he was a gift and didn't want to spoil it for the new owner. He's since arrived, so here he is again. :)
