ZW: HistoryShe held the mask close to her skin, as if that would bring him back. Many nights she tried, but it was all the same. All in vain. No matter how hard she tried or wished or hoped, he was still gone and nothing would bring him back. The only thing she had left to cling to was the memories.ZW: History4 years ago in Drama More Like This
all of my memories keep you near
She longed for those warm nights they spent together. The way his body felt against hers. The way his kisses felt against her lips. She could almost still feel his body next to hers, his hands all over her, his touch.
in silent moments imagine you'd be here
But those nights when they were the Painted Lady and Blue Spirit had long disappeared. They left when he left. Now all she had was a mask to remind herself of pain she felt. No matter how many times she tried to be just the Painted Lady, she couldn't. She ended up curling up in his bedroom, holding his mask. The last thing he touched. Because it reminded her of him. Because she could still

Uncle thought it would be funny if Zuko had a piece of something he once was. So he found a merchant who was selling masks and purchased every one there. Uncle laughed when Zuko opened the package and saw hundreds of masks inside. Zuko, on the other hand, wasn't too thrilled with the idea of having so many masks around. Sure, his Uncle was trying to make Zuko feel better, but it wasn't working.
That is, until he saw one mask hidden at the very bottom of the box. Zuko knew exactly what it was without touching it, yet he still had to. The blue face haunted him, the evil smirk called to him. So the Fire Lord kept the mask hidden away in his private room, away from everyone else, while the rest of the masks were on display in his library. It was for Uncle's sake they were on displayed, but everyone called the room the "mask room" instead of the library and said it was Zuko who wanted them, who wanted more masks.
Months later, he knew he needed a break from it all an
ZW: SecretThe scars did nothing to him except made him hide more. He was still the same as he always had been. Maybe that's what made his father furious even more. The fact that the scars were supposed to teach him a lesson and they didn't. Maybe they weren't big enough, strong enough to teach a lesson. So, Ozai decided to really teach his son a lesson by burning a mark on his face. A permanent disgrace for everyone to see the beast he was. Yet, that did nothing. Sure, Zuko was embarrassed to have those scars and half his face burned to a crisp, but he did nothing different.ZW: Secret4 years ago in Romance More Like This
It was then Ozai realized nothing could be done to fix his son. He banished his son to an abandoned island where no one could ever see him. Ozai told Zuko it was for his own good, that people would see the scars and become afraid, that people would think of him as a beast. But really, it was because Ozai grew sick of looking at his deformed son. Ozai couldn't allow anyone to see this beast that came from him. Zuko no longer
ZKM-DesireHis heart raced every time he saw her. He couldn't explain it, but he was overcome with this feeling of longing, of wanting to touch her, caress her, be next to her in every possible way. Every time he tried to speak to her, he was a wreck – he couldn't talk except random nonsense , and he sweated way too much. What she was doing to him, he didn't know, but he wanted a fix.ZKM-Desire2 years ago in Romance More Like This
He loved the way she smiled and the way her laugh sounded – even if it was at him. He loved how passionate she became about everything. It was almost as if she should have been born in the Fire Nation as fiery as she became, but then maybe he wouldn't want her as much as he did.
And when they fought… oh he loved it when they fought. It was when her spark burned the brightest. The fire and water dancing around the two of them, creating their own personal space.
He had to admit it, he desired the Water Tribe girl and he would do whatever it took to win her.
ZW: LegendaryShe walked away from him and waited by the shore for him. Removing the mask covering her face, she let the tears flow from her eyes. She could hear him in the background, sitting by the rocks, crying. Part of her told her to go help him, to comfort him, but she couldn't bear to do that at that moment. Even if she knew he was breaking down.ZW: Legendary4 years ago in Drama More Like This
Turning back to face him, she saw his face in his hands and his body shake from the tears that fell from his eyes, despite the fact it was a dark night. She could almost feel his heartbreak radiating off of him, almost hear his soul being crushed into a million little pieces to be thrown across the sea, and almost taste the tears that fell from his eyes.
She should be there for him, she knew she should be, yet she couldn't bring herself to stand there with him. To her, it was too much to think about. To be there for him, to support him when he needed it the most. Maybe it was because she knew too well how it was and she couldn't relive it, even if sh
ZKW-VoicesShe wasn’t sure of many things as of late. One of the things she started to worry about was the decision to visit family without Zuko. He was her family now too, and it was a spur of a moment decision to take the trip to the Southern Water Tribe, and Fire Lords have responsibilities to do, but that didn’t mean she didn’t miss him. It was just supposed to be a short visit, however, things were taking longer than normal. And now, it was getting to the point to where Katara couldn’t travel safely.ZKW-Voices2 years ago in Romance More Like This
She wished she told him before she left. Then again, she wasn’t entirely sure herself and she was iffy about what he would say. Now, there was no choice in the matter. Besides, he had to expect his line to continue somehow.
She wanted to see his reaction when he heard the news, not saw it.
He couldn’t sleep. He would constantly wake up in the middle of the night, longing for her. He’d reach out, expecting her to be there, but there was nothing. A few
ZKM-SublimeThe first time he saw her bloodbend, he was mesmerized. How could someone, who appeared so weak, control a person the way she did? How was she able to do that in the first place? How did she learn that? In a short few months she had gone from hardly being able to do a simple waterbending trick to control a person. Impressive didn't even begin to describe it.ZKM-Sublime2 years ago in Drama More Like This
To top it off, she was a powerful healer. He didn't ask for her to heal him, but she offered. Sometimes, like when he practiced with Aang or Sokka, she didn't ask, she just went up to him and healed him, mumbling something about 'stupid boys'. He didn't take the healing for granted, like Sokka did. He appreciated it and he didn't take stupid risks knowing she'd be there.
When the riots started, he was worried for her. He really shouldn't have been – she'd proven herself as a powerful bender several times over – but it was his nature to. Not to mention, she was the girlfriend to the Fire Lord and a water tribe citizen. Two things go

She was if simply said, breathtakingly gorgeous. But Sokka never spoke of anything simply, and nothing about her was simple in the least anyhow.
First sight, and in love.
Her pitch-black hair was pulled into a high bun, speckled with diamonds that sparkled as she turned her head, reminding him of the night sky adorned with the brightest of stars. In contrast her skin was pale and as perfect as the marble, if only she was sculpted and he wasn't in on the secret. She stood tall by posture, but short in her stance, though if this made her feel any weakened she didn't show it. Her eyes were nearly as colorless as her skin, though he didn't notice.
All he saw, the smile her lips curved into. All he heard, the ring of her laugh. The warmth of her cheeks, he longed to know.
Sokka stepped forward from the crowd, wondering how to pull her away from the group of suitors that crowded her. A new song began to play as couples took the floor, but the men around her still grew thicker

It was strange how something so simple required constant attention and repetition. Keep breathing, keep breathing. No matter how many times it was said, it didn't seem to register. Or maybe it did and Katara just wanted to give up now.
This wasn't the first time she had to remind herself to breathe again. Though she thought she knew what it was like to stop breathing when her mother died or when her father left, the real first time she had to remind herself to breathe again was with Zuko. When she saw the lightning come for her, her heart stopped. When she saw him dash in front of her, she couldn't breathe anymore. When she thought he was dead, she didn't want to live anymore. It wasn't until she heard Zuko call her name did she allow herself to breathe again. That should have been the last time, but it wasn't.
A year later when he said he was going to marry Mai, there was a different sort of pain she felt. One of betray
