Yet another photograph from my time in Cumbria, and again its Wastwater, in the Wasdale Valley, West Cumbria. I know it looks as if I never went anywhere else than here, but I did!! But when I look back through my photos even I am beginning to wonder!!

Thank you so much for viewing this work.

An old one of Wastwater Lake in Cumbria England, looking down on the lake from Lingmell Fell, to the left are the famous wastwater screes. The lake is the deepest one in england, popular amongst the diving fraternity, who dive down in one area in particular to an underwater ledge and leave garden gnomes etc on it!! Sadly it has been fatal for some when accidents have occurred. The Lake provides the water cooling for the nucleur power station at Sellifield on the coast a few miles away.

The weather and lighting conditions can change dramatically in a matter of minutes in the Wasdale Valley. This was taken looking up Wastwater lake once again towards Great Gable.

This was taken between Te Awamutu and Ohaupo, in the Waikato, North Island, New Zealand. One of those rare moments for me when the landscape and the elements conspire to create a photographers dream. My favourite condition, mist and sunrise combined, made my day for sure.
