Bad...ass. Now that the journey is finished, I felt the need to do one more piece of art before jumping back to my writing. Turned out better than expected, though it took for-freaking-ever.
4hrs in PSE8 w/bamboo, screen capture from ME3 used as ref.
Holy crap, thanks all for all this attention. I know I'm just a small-time meddler compared to some of the elites around here, but within just a couple days, this has already become my most faved and most viewed piece -- my first to pass 1k views! Unexpected, fo sho.
I don't know why Shepard gave me this. Like I give a fuck that I had a Mom who wanted me. Why should I care that I wasn't abandoned, but stolen? Doesn't change anything.
These are just stupid words documented because it was Cerberus. Bitch is probably dead....or wouldn't want some fucking super biotic for a daughter.
Yeah. They're just words.
Oh Jack....your tattoos are awesome....but they are a PAIN to draw
Anyway, something that I drew up back when Lair of the Shadowbroker came out and I was scrolling through the files on the crew. My main Shepard probably never actually mentions that she's read these documents, and just discreetly gives any information that her crew might want to them.
The file with what I'm guessing is Jack's mother is one thing I can just imagine Shepard dropping off without a word for Jack to see. And for someone who was abandoned and spends her life believing she's only worth what people could get out of her, knowing that it wasn't always the case can be pretty upsetting. So this is Jack, trying to rationalize this new information in the only way she knows how. By pretending it doesn't bother her, that it means nothing, and swearing profusely.
